Disney in Feb

We're going the week of Mardi Gras- 21st thru the 28th.
We've gone in Sept, June and in April. By far Sept was the best time.
Anyone have any idea what the crowds and weather will be like?

We're going during that time also. I'm been stalking accuweather and it looks like low 70s. As far as crowds. I think it empties out toward the end of the week.

We've done Mardi Gras week in 2006. The crowds were not bad at all. We loved the weather as well. If we could afford to go every year, this would be the time of year we would want to go.

You're lucky to be going then and not a week earlier. MA schools are out during President's Week, and it seems like everyone we know is headed to WDW!

Nope, President's Day is the 16th and Mardi Gras is the 24th.

that works out good for everyone then. we were there for mardi gras 08 it was great the weather was shorts wearing as usual and LSU everywhere. Make sure to bring your mardi gras beads. before we left I purchased some of the mardi gras garland they had and wrapped our stroller w/ it. We had our own personal float for the week it was so much fun.

ETA~ the whole time we were there everyone kept saying that when they came in 07 presidents week fell in the same week as mardi gras and it was crowded.

That's a great idea to decorate the stroller. Adding that to my TO DO list.

I even bought the paper mardi gras masks and pics and taped them to our window at the resort.

We were there for Mardi Gras last year, and the crowd level seemed pretty low. We're going back this year, but not until the day after Mardi Gras (can't miss the parades 2 years in a row! ).

we will be there part of that time too! can only go for the 25 and 26, but sooo excited. i have heard 75ish weather and low crowds. "good that you aren't going the week before" from a lot of ppl.

We have been the past three years for Mardi Gras. Each year the weather and the crowd level were different. Although I found it to be supprisingly busy (much more than i expected) to my understanding it is still much better than summer time or any holiday.

we leave 1 week from today! DISNEY here we come...we leave on Feb. 19 coming home on March 1....staying the first 3 nights at Pop Century, the last 7 nights at the Boardwalk Villas.... can't wait!!!
