Disney in a day - AKA: The Gauntlet

Lol! Y'all have given me hope I will survive my next trip!! My brother and I are going home for his birthday weekend. It's his first trip and I was a little concerned about doing 4 parks in 2 days!! Have my plan and ADR, so let's just hope my feet survive!!! Staying at AsMo as he wants the theme. I wanted Saratoga so I guess I just have to suck it up for my little bro!! So excited about sharing WDW with him!

We have done it by car - 13 hours each way and 2 days in the parks :)

Three is the most we've done in a day, and it was kindof a weird set of things, and not really much in the way of rides. We were trying to finish a list of undone things, mostly. :D

7am check in to Fort Wilderness.

8am pictures in front of Cinderella's Castle + pictures of the fall decorations.
8:30 breakfast at Crystal Palace.
Head over to Jungle Cruise, ride that.
Played checkers in front of La Chapeau waiting for the parade to go by.
Ride the horse trolley up to the castle.

We could've ridden 2 or 3 things while waiting for the parade to happen and the trolley to start back up. It was just bad timing on our part.

1:30pm Expedition Everest (single rider line).

Back to Fort Wilderness to set up camp, change clothes, etc.

Wandered around the Festival Center.
6pm Ruffino Wine Seminar.
7pm Picture with Duffy.
Food & Wine festival.

Watched Illuminations from the tram/walking to our car.

Watched Wishes driving to dinner.

9:30 Dinner at Poly.

We could've gone over to MK for an hour or so after but we were just poopered and went to go to shower & sleep.

I agree that it is doable.

I think the plan to hit DHS first is the best because the half marathon might make Epcot a little crowded in the morning.

I would do DHS, AK and then Epcot.

We have done this before on our last day. we hit what we wanted to and then left. Epcot is best at the end as long as you have a place to eat. You might even catch Illuminations.

Have fun

I also thought about making reservations for a night of coral reefs. I know that since the marathon is this weekend, I wonder if the restaurants are full. We would like to have dinner at WDW and I am ready to plan my day around the reserve as well. Any suggestions for a romantic dinner for 2

I believe we are going to have dinner at the AKL. The way we have our weekend planned, we'll already be at AK that afternoon. My husband agreed to make reservations, and now that I think of it, I don't know what our final decision was.
