Disney Ideas.

I love the Nightmare Before Christmas Idea. I just love this movie and all the charectors and would love to see more done with it at WDW.

A Villians Thrill park. awesome idea. will it ever happen? i doubt it :( i guess IOA will be the reigning thrills for adults park, although Disney could really capitalize on this market.

Nemo Ride
Jungle Book Ride
Mary Poppins Ride

I think Disney should use it's classic themes and incorporate the engineering from some of their most successful rides. In other words, do what they do best!

Glad to see this thread is back(well sort of)

I was thinking that some type of smooth, not too extreme roller coaster ride that you wear 3D glasses. Sort of like Dinosaur but with 3D imaging. Since Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my favourites, I would like that theming.

I hope there are some other ideas

Yeah, AK is a little blah, and I do think they need to bring mroe rides in. The Australia thing is a great idea. I'm sure alot of peopel would get a kick out of seeing kangaroos.

There ARE kangaroos at AK. They're on Discovery Island, on one of the paths if you go to the left around the Tree of Life from the Main Entrance. I think it's pretty close to right across the walkway from Pizzafari, but not 100% sure.

I must have missed them. I didn't see the kangaroos. Maybe too busy looking at the tree of life.

Egypt is a great idea--how about adding it to World Showcase?

The Great Movie Ride at MGM is SOOOOOOO outdated. How about making it the Great Disney Movie Ride with oldies, but goodies---they already have the great Mary Poppins set in there. :wizard:

I was thinking of an alice in wonderland ride at MK for a while then I saw someone mentioned disney land had one. I wish Willy Wonka was disney, there could be a whole area based on willy wonka, like toontown, all the different scenes in the movie could make different rides or attractions.

It would be kind of neat if there was a little overlook on top of the castle at MK.

If space mountain had shoulder restraints and one side had a loop or both sides, but im sure some would not want a loop so you could have that option as to which line you would want to go in. A loop in the dark would be cool, I know the ceiling is probably too low for that.

The one thing I like about disney is that its a "theme park" not an amusement park... there are too many parks with high speed roller coasters and drop towers and bungee rides, but not many with theme rides like disney has, I just hope they can maintain originalty in rides like the original classics they already have.

I'd like some ride's with 3D effects. there is so much awesome technology out there. I love Fairytales and Disney is built on them so I'd like to see more storybook dark rides like peter pan.

Sorry, I've never seen the kangaroos. I'll have to look for them next time.

Yea, I've thought the same thing about Willy Wonka, and about the movie Robots, Disney could really do good on that.

The Space Mountain in Disneyland Paris has a loop. Disneyland's Paris Tomorrowland is so much better than ours, its themed aorund Jules Verne, wich is why it's actaully called Discoveryland and not Tomorrowland. I dont really like the New Stich ride at WDW, its cool, but not really that exciting.

I think The Great Movie ride is still okay, but it could still use some work, someone alreaday mentioned how they need to make the Fantasia scene a little better. I think that should be the finale scene for the ride, I don't really understand the movie you watch at the end.

I think there could be a really cool 3-D simulator with a "Monsters Inc." theme based on the door sequence...going in and out of theming from around the world.

Also, more for the younger set. Playhouse Disney is great, could they add a "Wiggletown" playground nearby? In AK, something with Jungle Book...maybe a parade themed like the marches in the movie. In MK...Don't mess with the classics! However, I'm in the I hate Alien Encounter AKA "Stich" ride crowd. I think they could do something there. I'm a thrill ride lover, but I know there isn't really enough room. Maybe something our princess addicted daughters could go ga ga over like a little princess simulator.

I think they are doing a Monsers Inc. themed ride out in California.

I also have another idea. I think they should have a rollercoaster based on one of Jules Verne's books. Maybe based around Journey to the Center of the Earth.

Any one have an other ideas?

MK

1.) A dark ride based off the beauty and the beast.
2.) Update the Haunted Mansion..not as in electronics or anything, but different scenery, after being there 4 times its now just the nostalgia.
3.a) Refurb the jungle cruise , some of the animals in the water are looking faded and could now be made more realistic, also making it possible for some animals in the water splash a little water on you.
3.b) Have a part where the boat rocks as if a croc hits it and then the croc comes to the top of the water so you see what it was.
4.) Turn the castle into an attraction, like Swiss Robinson Family Treehouse ..that is pushing it I know.
5.) and update tomorrow land..keeping it the same layout but just refurb the existing look to a more modern futuristic look.
6.) A new e-ticket attraction that will make up for Stich, no offense to Stich lovers.
7.) A themed dark thrill ride or a 3d thrill ride based from The Chronicles of Narnia..a revenge of the mummy type ride.

Epcot
never been

MGM
never been

AK
never been

Blizzard Beach
never been

Typhoon Lagoon
1.) More thrill slides
2.) lights to allow for night hours.
3.) A dark water slide..sort of like POTC but its just you and friend, rather than a whole group...that would be creepy .

I think thats it.

I think the Jungle Cruise ideas are great. That would give every one a kick if the boat started rocking back and forth.

I think The Haunted Mansion is fine though, except for the bride scene, she doesn't seem very realistic.

I think they need to do something with Tomorrowland too, mabybe they need to paint somethings a goldish color, like in Disneyland. They should put a rollercoaster in Fantasyland and Adventureland, since they have on in Tomorrowland, Mickey's Toon Town, and in Frontierland. The one for Adventureland could be the Indiana Jones ride form Disneyland, Ca. And maybe the one in Fantasyland could be based around either one of Jule's Vernes book, wich might fit better in Tomorrowland. Or it could be based around The Emproer's New Groove?? It should be indoor too.

The Castle idea--great! I would love to see them do something with the castle insted of jsut a restaurant. They could fix it up and make it look like the inside of a castle, and just do something really cool with it. maybe brin the tour of the caslte they have out in Tokyo Disneyland to FLorida?

I just thought of another idea, once a week one of the parks is open all night. That would be cool.

First off, I think that 24hrs Epcot would be a fantastic Idea~! Especially since it may be the least appealing park for small children, and little ones usually go to their hotels at night.

I dont know if they have this or not. I have never seen it though. A double- cart or smallish stand specializing in baked potatoes. Not in a food court, just on the street, like the mickey bars and popcorn etc. There could be a little toppings area attached. Also, and taking less space~ Corn on the cobb with flavored butters, and snow cones, pick your own flavorings. Maybe these things are there already and Ive just never seen them

A counter service restaurant in each park specializing in made to order salads. Different choices for greens, veggies, cheeses and add ins, dressings and crunchy goodies like chinese noodles and french fried onions. And protein choices like tuna salad chicken salad egg salad and tofu. Also a selection of fruits and a design your own smoothie. Yummy, and *can be* quite healthy!

A full service restaurant in each park with 2 sections. 1 for children (supervised by cast members with a kiddie buffet available) and 1 for adults and (QUIET) children at least 10 years old. This would give parents a lovely little *break* from all the action, w/ out leaving the park.

I think these things would be enjoyed my many :goodvibes

I can't wait for the Narnia movies to come out. I read all the books and they;re amazing. So maybe in a few years they'll be abe to do a really cool ride based on Tje Chronicles of Narnia.

I think there are parts of ALL the parks that could do with freshening up with new rides, Tomorrowland at MK - why did they get rid of Alien Encounter?

parts of MGM are looking dated now - Great Movie Ride/Muppet 3d being just 2

Technology has moved on now, for example Spiderman and Shrek are better than any of the rides at the Disney parks.

Lots of great ideas here. I have not read the whole thread, so excuse me if this has been mentioned. My 4yoDNiece liked taking the boat from WL to MK. She always wanted to ride in the back or in the front were the boat was open to the elements. When we road the monorail, she asked to ride "outside". I wondered if this would be as simple as it sounded. The last car on the monorail trains could be an open car to enjoy the sights and the breezes (when moving). I think this would work well on the Epcot monorail, not as many stops.
