Disney Ideas.

Disneyland has an Alice in Wonderland ride but I've never done it. Very interested in Robin hood, but maybe I'm biased! :rotfl2: And I think a Jungle Book ride at AK would be brilliant. JB was my first ever film mumble mumble years ago  and you know what they say-you never forget your first.....LOL

I think that jungle boo would be a good idea too.

I think they need to brong a few more rides to MGM too. AK doesn't have a whole lot of rides, but there is a lot of stuff to do. Like we could go on all the rides at MGM in one day.

I think for Epcot they need to do a ride that is sort of Like 20,000 leauges under the sea themed. They could really do a good job with that. They have a ride that is based on Journey to the Center of the Earth at Disney Sea in Tokyo.

I like the Jungle Book idea for AK--perfect there. I would put the Emporer's ride at MGM--they need something likethat..I hear Disneyland is getting a Monsters, inc. ride--like through the door factory--that would be a huge hit with my Mike and Sully fan (DS4). That would be good at MGM as well. I vote for better resturaunts at MK--they could do a lot with great themes if they wanted to. :wizard:

I think they need to stop messing with the classic Disney rides to bring in newer more modern things (I happen to like Mr.Toads, Horizons, 20,000 Leagues, and the Sky Way Ride).

I also thing Magic Kingdom could use one more nice restaurant like CRT...the only other one really is Tony's but I dont like the food there.

The other idea I like is to have a Villains themed thrill park, with rides based on Disney villains. Like a water ride featuring Ursala from Little Mermaid. Or a roller coaster shaped as Maleficant after she turns into the dragon. Or a car chase scene ride with Cruella DeVille. I dont know, I actually have lots of ideas for that one, but too many to name...maybe I'll start a thread for that?!

They used to have 20,000 leagues under the sea in MK. I was disappointed that they got rid of it

I just looked back thru this thread and realized that someone already mentioned the Villains theme park, so disregard that on my post, sorry! I do think it's a good idea though...All the rides could have happy endings (just like any classic disney tale) so the kids arent scared by it. It's probably a better target to get older kids into Disney though, cuz the little ones probably wouldnt be able to go on most thrill rides. Little kids arent the only ones who like Disney! Besides, with a thrill park, maybe it'll help clear the other parks up a little bit (like MK)!

I wish they would move the hat at MGM. It's a nice icon, but it blocks the view of the Chinese Theatre as you go up the street from the entrance. It's really just a shop, why can't it go somewhere else?

I totally agree with you on that...I liked the view of the Chinese Theater, it's a beautiful icon that was there since day one, why would they block that? I feel like thats a more noticeble icon than the Mickey Ears Tower for MGM so for them to cover that would be like blocking any other theme park icon!

I think part of MGM's problem is that it kind of lacks it's own identity. It's almost as if Disney doesn't know what to do with it, and they just threw stuff in there from other parks that didn't really "fit" at MK. The original Icon was the water tower, but that's a Warner Bros thing. They need that central Icon like the other 3 parks have.

I think they also seem to forget the MGM part of Disney/MGM Studios. There are some more icons they can draw from, and start to develop thier identy. How about more Leo, the MGM lion, and what about Tom & Jerry, they are afterall, the MGM cartoon characters. How cool would an autograph be with them. Universal uses Woody Woodpecker, Six Flags uses WB, and Paramount has Hanna Barbara characters. Let some MGM stuff shine through there, they helped pay for the park.

I think that AK should have a firework show like the rest of the parks do. It should be right behind Mt. Everest, the new ride. The fireworks could be acompanied by songs from The Lion King. And for the grand finale, red, oragne, and yellow fireworks shoot out of the top of Mt. Everest. Mt Everest isn't really a volcano, but it would stil be cool.

I doubt they can do fireworks that close to the animals. It might really frighten them. I know they frighten my dog.

Yeah, they porbably would scare them.

My sister and I had this idea for a park.

Some place where it is tropical Disney needs to open up a new park.

The castle could be Aladin's. And at night insted of Tinkerbell flying out of the caslte the Geni could, or Jasmine and Aladin could on their carpet. I thank Disney should have mroe thatn 2 people's casltes' at the parks, ya know? They also should build different style ones, not jsut the 3 that they seem to stick with.

I also think at the American pavillion at Epcot they should build a mini replica of the Statue of Liberty, it could be behind the huge building, kind of like the Ifle Tower over in France at Epcot.

And at the top of Tower of Terror they should build a five star hotel room, sound proof ofcourse so you dont hear people screaming below you. They would have enough room to do it. If you ever look at the top there is this huge round room. Maybe that is there for a specific purpose, but I've always thought it was just for looks.

I think that Animal Kingdom should put a sit down resturant at camp mickey minnie. Make it a character meal. Themed to a camp mess hall. With all the characters dressed like counselors. serving camp food, like bug juice(served out of a big clean garbage cans), fried chicken, green beans, hot dogs, sloppy joes, etc. Have large tables where many people sit together. Have little totems for each character, where people can get them and put them on their tables, and the characters get their totems and visit each table. People can sing camp songs, tell stories etc. while people eat.

That's a terrific idea! Very creative and thematic!

You need to get a job with Disney. That is a great and unique idea.

I know exactly what you mean. It always seems that MK is just lil bit crowded. I think that one of the problems is that alot of the spcaes are crapmed. If they would bring in a fith park maybe that would decreas the crowds in MK.

I think another reason MK always seems just a lil bit crowded is because the park is all by itself, like it's in it's one little area, then the other parks are across 7 seas Lagoon, maybe you'll see what I mena in the picture if you don't understand. They should build a park sort of close to MK. A villians one would be a good idea casue it would flow with the theme of MK. However, I asked a person I know who works for the Disney Archives. He said the Vilians park was just a rumor, or who knows. Maybe Disney is just trying to keep it a secret?

Here's a map of WDW, just click on the link. See how far away MK is form the other parks? This map is very outdated, it's the ony one I could find, but you can still see the distance between the parks.

Ok, since this thread sot of stopped I'm gonna post something that might get it goin again.

I have an idea for a new park in WDW, it might be too much like AK or Adventure land in MK but I though it was a cool idea.

Ok, the theme of the park would be Egyptian themed. The icon could be the Sphinx or the three pryamids. They could have rides like the Indiana Jones ride in Disneyland, and some other cool one. And they could have this long river that flows throught thw whole park, wich would be the Nile. And have a carousel with camels insted of horses. What do ya think :confused3

I dunno?? Like I said, it might be too much like some other areas of WDW. But maybe they could do it over in Tokyo or Hong Kong. But I still thought it was a cool idea.

my dream vacation was to go down the Nile. That would be so cool
