We are doing a 4 night cruise but coming early and staying at Pop Century for 2 nights before booked separetly from the cruise part. On Sunday what is the easiest way to get to the Disney Cruise line buses. Would we be able to go to Animal Kingdom and get picked up there or would we have to take Magic Express back to the airport and get on the Disney Cruise bus there?

Any suggestions or has anyone else done this same thing?

Thanks :earboy2:

None of the above.....
Officially, you are not allowed to take luggage on the normal WDW busses, so you can't bus over to Animal Kingdom. There is no need to do ME back to the airport.

When we stayed at OKW (before it was serviced by DCL transportation), the bellman took us to the nearest DCL hotel. We were told in advance that they would do this, and to just remind them at the bell desk when we checked in. Seems it was a pretty common thing.

A friend asked bell service at Pop Century to call her a cab to wherever she was to get the DCL bus....the bellman said no need, and took their family and stuff over.

My friend and I were going to do the land part seperatly ....but we live in Florida and would drive there...what do we do with our car can it stay in our disney resort parking lot?????

We stayed at All Star Movies last and were told by DCL we had to take a taxi from ASM to the Swan or Dolphin (can't remember which). DCL bus would take us to the port from Swan. We were paying $25 each for the 4 of us to ride the DCL to the port. Instead, we used Happy's limo for same money from ASM. The car was clean and nice. The driver was early and told us not hurry. He stopped at a liquor store and grocery store on our way. The whole process was painless.

Per Disney written guidelines, your can cannot remain at a WDW resort while you are on the cruise. You can choose to drive to the port and park in the lot there for $10 per day. This can be less costly than using DCL transportation to the port and back. Alternatively, if you stay at the Radisson the night before cruising, your car can remain in their lot for no additional charge, and they offer a free shuttle to the port.

When you check in at a WDW resort, they issue you a car parking authorization that lists you check out date.

Thank you for the info... I dont mind paying for my car to stay at the port but I just wasnt sure if it could. $80 bucks still seems cheaper than paying for the dcl bus anyways. :wave2:
