Disney Hating DH Agrees to spectacular DVC proposition

Well, he claims to hate Disney..........but always has a blast when we go.

I was talking to him when he got home from work about AKV and KTV, and proposed buying a few points at them. (When and if KTV is announced)
How surprised was I when he said, yeah that's sounds fine..........as long as we always have enough points to take family. (We typically take grandparents and four uncles)

You could have knocked me over with a feather!
I am still a little in shock!

Maybe it's all just an act so that he ends up looking like a hero. He's secretly Walt's #1 fan!

I hear ya....My DH is not Disney's biggest fan.

He usually goes every 2nd or 3rd trip...I planned for all of us to go in Oct including my father...My dad backed out and the 160pts I used for a 2 BR...I was thinking about trading out and go somewhere else.

DH shocked me when he said..."No you are not cancelling that is MY
Disney trip" ....Alrighty

I keep thinking, has he had a change of heart??
Is it because he knows all of us enjoy going so much? We have taken so many trips, and most times take family or friends with us. We don't live near any family, so it gives us a chance to catch up and have fun.

I have the same type of DH. In our case he "hates to go to Disneyland, but always has a good time. I couldn't believe he was all for DVC. He even hates to fly! I'm still shaking my head in disbelief, but not questioning it at all. He is actually looking for to our trip to WDW this June!

My husband is constantly being razzed by his friends about "visiting the large Mouse" every year and he tries to act like he does it for me... but, when we go, he is DVC's biggest ambassador. He tells people about it and how wonderful it is etc. In January when I heard him tell another family "Yeah, I am sure we will add on more points..." I knew I had him. So I hit him up when we got home and we added on 50 AKV points. I have a concierge studio booked for next January for 4 nights with those points and then 4 nights in a BWV boardview studio! I am too darn excited!

Hmmmm.... now how to get him to add on Kingdom Tower points?

I told him I thought 110 at AKV and 50 at KTV would be nice.......although I may need to rethink that after looking closer at the points charts.
