Disney Gives Us the Warm Fuzzies - Take Two. TRIP REPORT HAS BEGUN! 1/20 Pg. 92

Hey Leslie,

hope that you and Marc and having fun!

We were pounded with snow here yesterday (about 22")...so beautiful...:cloud9:...but no tree yet.:sad2:

(but we weren't able to get out to get our tree)..have to get it today but (gasp) I may have to get it from the Whole Foods...which is not as cute as the tree farm and is going to be $$$...but I need my tree...:confused3...(yours is quite adorable and I agree I like trees with character...:thumbsup2)

Lots of yummy food...

Beignets...fried balls of doughy goodness covered wtih powdered sugar...what's not to love...:confused3

I like Jordan share the Jiko love... (Sanaa is right up there for me too...:thumbsup2

Mmm...Brownie Sundae...ice cream, brownies, warm fudge and whipped cream...nuff said....:cloud9:

(Btw...Jackie...I'll be around today...I can't get too far...:lmao: other than the tree and food market for supplies Emily's co-ed cookie making party tonight...(please knock me out now...) I'll talk to you so you won't be too lonely......oops I haven't sent out my holiday cards yet either...:sad2:)

Mmmmmm..the brownie sundae looks yummy..I am all about chocolate! Not going anywhere here today either, we got hammered as well and it's not supposed to get above freezing all day!

I am a sucker for mounds of whipped cream on ice cream so that brownie sundae looks divine!!! Yum, yum, yum!

I promise to do Christmas cards today! :goodvibes:laughing:

Safe driving!

The holidays are hard on everyone diets so don't be too hard on yourself.

I'm still recovering from a co-ed gingerbread house decorating party my DS11 had a few weeks ago. They all want to make it an annual event. I told their parents that would be fine if it was a rotating event. I figure I already had my turn.

A brownie sundae in the warm Florida sun looks so good right now. Especially since I'm snowed in. I guess hot cocoa with marshmallows and whipped cream will have to do for now.

Oh the weather outside is frightful...but the fire is so delightful....

The Brownie Sundae from The Plaza.

Think she'll let me have a bite? LOL. A bite...just a bite...how about half LOL!!!! That thing is huge!!![/COLOR]

We got a dusting of snow here last night - just enough to cover the cars and rooftops. Exciting stuff for us, though, to get any snow at all.

The brownie sundae is looking scrumptious, even on this cold day.

Hope you are enjoying fun Christmas times with the family! :santa:

Okay smart people -
I have a question. when you did your first page, you posted links to your chapters. Could you explain to me how to do that? I am getting ready to start my TR and would like to be able to do it too. Also, when you post an update and you put it in the title, how do you do that?
TIA! and I hope you'll join me once I get it up and running. I'll post a link (if you tell me how to do that too! HA!) JK! I think I can manage that one. ;)

YUM!

I have yet to make it to Jiko, or Sanaa but know I'd love them both and YUM!

:thumbsup2 to Brownie Sundays

Don't be jealous. It's beautiful while it falls, then it's just a big mess. After having my driveway shoveled, the plows came by and pushed it all back :headache:

I know it must be a pain to try and get out and about in, but I would like some of it on a day when I don't have to leave the house.

I guess it doesn't work that way though, does it?

It really is pretty (the snow) but if it hangs out too long it starts to get kind of yucky...

It's really nice this time of year...it makes everything look festive...:goodvibes

It can be a bit of a pain to get around and about in...In New England up where LL is...they kind of expect so I think they are better at removal...for some reason in the MidAtlantic we aren't as good at removal and people are just used to it enough to have shovels and salt on hand but not so good at driving in it and sometimes our removal crews aren't really prepared...

so its kind of a mixed thing...

this one I'm going to enjoy since it's a Christmas snow...Also I like a bit of snow...it's what makes having ll 4 seasons fun...we've missed out on snow the past couple of years...:confused3

but by late February/March if we've had a snowy winter...

I'll probably be cranky...

That's so interesting. Being from MN, we don't think much about snow. Although it always seems to come at a time to mess up the commutes! I spent a semester in Washington DC back in college and it snowed about an inch and everything was CLOSED! I was shocked!!! It's true, there is such a difference in the snow removal, and knowing how to drive in it. Our roads get plowed very quickly and they treat them with chemicals to melt the snow and ice. Of course, when it snows here in December, we pretty much keep it around and have a lovely white Christmas. We got 10 inches while we were at WDW and a few more the night we got back, so it's definitely going to be white here for a while. It doesn't melt too quickly!
:santa:

Our snow storm wasn't so bad...at least where we are. We have less than a foot and my parents had even less...maybe 4 or 5 inches.

Marc has been trying to convince me to go with a fake tree next year. I don't know if I can do it. Half the fun of a Christmas tree to me is picking it out and setting it up. I don't know what to do. :confused3

Mmmmmm..the brownie sundae looks yummy..I am all about chocolate! Not going anywhere here today either, we got hammered as well and it's not supposed to get above freezing all day!
I hate snow. BOO!

I am a sucker for mounds of whipped cream on ice cream so that brownie sundae looks divine!!! Yum, yum, yum!

Did you do your Christmas Cards today??

Driving was just fine. The road were clear when it was time to go home. PHEW.

I wish we only got dustings! That would be so much better.

Okey dokey....
To edit your first post...just click edit....to change the title hit the go advanced button and then you can edit the title.

The links.....what I do is click on the post # of what I want to link. The post # is the upper right hand corner of each post. Right click it, then copy link location (or something to that effect).

Go to your first post, write your title. Then you highlight your title. Click on the little earth with the paperclip looking think in the tool bar. Paste the post # link location and hit ok. Then you should have a link with a title!

Did I get everything? LOL. If that isn't clear let me know. I'm half asleep. :rotfl2:

YUM!

:thumbsup2 to Brownie Sundays
I know I'm going to love Jiko too. It's just a fact.

Did everyone get snow but us???

I am so, so, so jealous.
Don't be. How about we switch houses for the winter? :rotfl2:

Don't be jealous. It's beautiful while it falls, then it's just a big mess. After having my driveway shoveled, the plows came by and pushed it all back :headache:
UGH. That is the worst. I live in an apartment complex and it's such a headache to dig out your car and then when you leave to find a space that is actually clear.

I know it must be a pain to try and get out and about in, but I would like some of it on a day when I don't have to leave the house.

I guess it doesn't work that way though, does it?
Nope, it never does.

Actually, it usually does. It rarely happens on school days :lmao:
Oh see, it happens during the week for me all the time. I hate driving in it.

It really is pretty (the snow) but if it hangs out too long it starts to get kind of yucky...

The thing with living in New England is that they clear it but no matter WHAT the conditions you are expected to make it to work. It's such a pain in the butt. Especially when the governor urges companies to send their workers home at all the same time, then no plows can go through and it takes you 3 hours to get home when it normally takes 30 minutes. :rolleyes1 That was the worst night of my life. I couldn't even park my car by the time I got home...I made Marc meet me outside our complex to park my car for me. I went inside the house and did a shot. No lie. And this was TWO years ago. I haven't gotten over it. My goal in life is to live in one of those places where if it snows everything SHUTS down. South here I come!

That's so interesting. Being from MN, we don't think much about snow. Although it always seems to come at a time to mess up the commutes! I never had a problem driving in snow until that traumatic night two years ago. I just take it super slow. I am one of those annoying people. :rotfl2:

This thread + pregnant TK = HUGE DESIRE TO GO TO DISNEY JUST TO EAT

:rotfl2:

OMG, this thread is getting hard for me to read, but I love it!!!

I'm with you on the fish and chips. I loved this dish in September, it was fantastic. And beignets! They're little pieces of heaven, that's all you need to know. I know what you mean about POFQ, ever since I saw the Princess and the Frog, I've been wanting to stay there again.

Looks like you've got some yummy dishes planned. I'm really going to look forward to this trip report! :goodvibes

LL, I did do my Christmas cards this evening. They are all ready to mail out tomorrow!!! :thumbsup2
Good Job!! I'm proud of you! :santa:

Your countdown is just flying by! I'm loving the food theme!! YUM.
It really is flying by!
