UGH. That is the worst. I live in an apartment complex and it's such a headache to dig out your car and then when you leave to find a space that is actually clear.

Oh see, it happens during the week for me all the time. I hate driving in it.

I completely agree!!! Trying to park on a mound of snow is no fun. The snow ends up taking up lots of parking spaces. I have a driveway, but then DSNY comes by with their huge trucks and pushes all the snow in front of it.

Do schools in your area have a lot of snow days? NYC schools rarely close. We had one snow day last school year. But that's not an everday occurance. My brother and SIL live in Maryland and say the schools are always closing. In Westchester Co., there's always a delayed opening. I think I need to teach somewhere else

24 Days until Disney World Warm Fuzzies.

There is one thing that I have to try since so many DISers have talked about their merits.

ZEBRA DOMES!

I think after our wonderful dinner at Jiko we will be buying a few of these little beauties from Mara (I believe that is where you can get them, right CP?) to take back to our room to enjoy at our leisure. Another one of those things that has been on the list for quite awhile...we have to cross it off Leslie!!!

I know some of you requested recent pictures...here they are!

My Family! My parents, my brother and his wife, and Marc & I. Don't we look cute? I think this is the best picture of the six of us that we have ever taken.

And here is one of just me. The last time I went to the doctor on December 1st, I had lost only 1lb since my last appointment so I'm at 50lbs total. I feel like I'm in a slump. I'm hoping to be at 65lbs lost when I go to Disney but I don't know if that will happen. I go to the doctors again on New Year's Eve, we'll see how that goes.

My friend has had some challenges after her surgery but don't worry you will get there I think this time of year is especially hard....there is food everywhere I look!
We are used to snow here too and normally it is cleared off very well, except when they cancel schools then its a free for all! I can only imagine your night when you did your shot... I have a little Mini Cooper so you can picture me flying around in the snow!

I really can't wait to stay at POFQ. I feel so lucky that I get to stay at a resort that I have really been wanting to try!

I'm so nauseous, looking at your food pictures is pretty much my sustenance right now, so post away!

POFQ is a really nice resort. I've stayed there, and I love the New Orleans feel of it. I feel like I'm visiting New Orleans but at Disney, if that makes sense.

YAY on the workout Jen! I'm going to attempt gingerbread today as well so we can compare notes. I've done snaps and other gingery type cookies but the actual bread, men, women? It'll be a first.

Okey dokey....
To edit your first post...just click edit....to change the title hit the go advanced button and then you can edit the title.

The links.....what I do is click on the post # of what I want to link. The post # is the upper right hand corner of each post. Right click it, then copy link location (or something to that effect).

Go to your first post, write your title. Then you highlight your title. Click on the little earth with the paperclip looking think in the tool bar. Paste the post # link location and hit ok. Then you should have a link with a title!

Did I get everything? LOL. If that isn't clear let me know. I'm half asleep.

You may not have lost a lot of weight, but you can tell from your pics that you're body is changing. You look fantastic! Good job and you can keep pressing forward with your weight loss.

Jen, congrats on the workout, especially at this time year when most are exercising their right to eat.

Zebra Domes are YUM! We grabbed a pack of them from Mara after our Jiko date night last trip. Took them back to the hotel to the g-ma's for a thank you for watching the boys for us and we may have snuck one in of our own. They were yummo! Actually they were one of the things I used to convince DH to stay at AKL this trip !

I'm so excited to try the Zebra Domes. They look so yummy. I'm just in a slump, plain and simple. It's hard. I feel like I have a lot of pressure on me, not only to lose weight but me losing weight also depends on when we can start trying for a baby. LOTS of pressure.

POFQ is a really nice resort. I've stayed there, and I love the New Orleans feel of it. I feel like I'm visiting New Orleans but at Disney, if that makes sense.

Finally, we've come to something from our Mystery ADR.

This is another dessert Jen picked out that she wants to try and as nothing really tickled my fancy on the Marrakesh dessert menu, we decided to try this and split it.

Marrakesh Delight

Allears describes it as "fresh fruit salad topped with mint ice cream, toasted almonds and orange blossom water."

Doesn't that sound delightful and refreshing? Sounds quite exotic to me!! I can't wait to give it a try!!! I'm very much looking forward to trying this new place!!
