Disney Gift Cards

Hi, hoping you can clear things up for me.


I have read about the issues re the Disney dining packages so have decided not to go with this option. I like the idea do a Disney gift card so that we can pay for meals/merchandise that way. However, our travel agent is saying that Disney gift cards cannot be sent internationally. Seems a little weird to me. Is it true? Anyone have any ideas on how to get around this?

WDW stopped shipping gift cards about 4 months ago, but you can still get them from the Disneyland site. The most you can put on each card is $100 and the cards can be used at WDW, DL, and DCL. Shipping is quite expensive at $25, so you would want to get quite a few gift cards to make the shipping worth it.

Scroll to the bottom of this page. Choose a gift card and then it will take you to a page where you can decide what picture you would like on your card.

We got ours internationally, no problems. Ordered on Friday and received on Monday via FedEx.
