Disney Gift Card Deals

Was it through the same computer? I might have made the mistake of doing it from home and work. I wonder if it truly is a "fraud protection" when purchased from multiple places.

From my phone. Now my account is locked for 'fraud'.

you mean PPDG? ive never heard of any buying limits on ebay.
I think you're right. It might not be eBay limiting, it's the seller. Someone mention GCM (eBay Seller) has a card limit per rolling period or something. I wonder if it's similar to for PPDG, but more strict. Like a purchase a day?

I've been trying for a couple hours. In the last couple weeks I've bought 2 $100 GC from PPDG so nothing crazy. Every time I try to check out, it says something about order can't go through. I've tried the ghiradelli, BB, and Petco.

I tried to buy the BB for my aunt but also cannot get my order to go through. How frustrating. I've not bought anything from PPDG in months and I don't think she ever has. She just wants the BB to go to the store and buy a laptop.

My account with .80 in Ebay bucks got the offer. My DH's account with $329 in Ebay bucks did not . Oh well, I had plenty sitting in Ebay gc's to churn so I did on my account. Just a little disappointed in the lack of bonus offers for him. I am just going to cash his out and be done with it. I am super paranoid that I am going to forget and lose them.

ETA: A PPDG $200 Ebay gc that I had attempted to buy repeatedly last week (but kept getting in that viscous circle of verifying the PP password) was left in my DH's account. For whatever reason letting it sit there worked and I was able to purchase it? It wouldn't let me do it again though.

So I finally get an ebucks offer, and I'm still waiting on my last GCM order! Gah! It was supposed to be here by 5 today for signature. This offer is mocking me!

My wife and I both got the Staples $25 off $100 online offer on our AMEX cards, but I can't decide if I should buy eBay cards to add to my churning pool or just buy Disney. Either way I'm going to buy a physical GC and pay the extra $1.99 in shipping, since the AMEX offer states that it's not valid on e-gift cards. With the loss of the 5% discount from Target and the difficulties I've had converting my Target GCs back into eBay on Target .com, I'm tempted to just purchase $200 in Disney cards with this offer and use them to open a DVA.

So here's how my afternoon went. UPS shows up with 1,650 in Target gift cards around 3:00pm. Get notice of 8% ebucks offer. Run to Target and was able to convert all 1650 to ebay gift cards in store. Drive home. GCM restocked with 150's. Bought 1650 in gift cards. So I'm right back where I started at the beginning of the day - waiting on 1,650 of Target gift cards to arrive. Though I did net 119 in profit when it is all said and done.

One time only. Once you've used it, it will show up as "redeemed" under your saved offers.

Are you sure? I have used mine once and it is not marked redeemed and the wording leads one to believe it can be used more than once. Unlike the Staples offer that says "Get a one-time statement credit".

I plan to use the offer a second time this weekend, will report back.

Tons of Disney gift cards at my target. The lady in front of me saw mine and asked if they still did 5% off with red card. The cashier said "some of them." I paid with gift cards. Put $2.xx on my red card. I asked if she had heard anything about not being able to buy gift cards with gift cards and she said no.

I must be seeing things under my AmEx saved offers because mine says "redeemed". Let us know how it works out for you.

So on the subject of Target self checkout, I've got an experience to share!

I received my GCM order from last week today (UPS delivery confirmation on the same minute as the eBay email for the 8% Bucks). Surely it's a sign! But with just 6 hours on the bonus, I decided to forgo the Ebates from ordering online because I didn't want to risk running so much volume through in one day or cancelations.

I just swung by two nearby Targets, and lucky me they had $100 and $200 eBay cards in stock. I decided to divide up my purchases between the stores, headed straight to self checkout and scanned the eBay cards clumsily. The scanner will sometimes scan (the small item barcode) and activate the card (by scanning the card's big unique barcode) together in one scan, and will other times require you to scan the big barcode to activate. Anyway, when that was done, I pulled out my Target GCs to pay. It was another clumsy process because you have to press the "Finish and Pay" button, then select "Gift Card" as payment method, then scan. And if one card doesn't cover the full balance, you have to click "Gift Card" again and scan the next card, and so on until the amount due is paid. I don't usually use self checkout so I didn't know how to scan the Target GCs, which drew the attention of the clerks manning the self checkout registers at the two stores. Both times, they came over to see what the trouble was and both told me that I couldn't use GCs to pay for prepaid cards, but both tried to scan the Target GCs for me anyway and when they saw the balance come off the amount due, they let my purchases through.

Lesson learned: when at self checkout, find and use the scan gun -- it's a lot easier and more precise than the tabletop scanners. And scan the small barcode at the upper left of the Target GC (I was mistakenly and ineffectively scanning the big barcode on the bottom half of the card). To avoid confusion, I noticed the clerks used a finger to cover the big barcode when scanning the little barcode.

How are people using Ebay gift cards on the 8% offer when it says you have to pay with PayPal?

you put in all your gift cards as payment first and click pay with paypal as the backup method at the end.. it does work the transaction will show up on your paypal account, with the gift card numbers in the transaction. the full amount ex 900 will show in the main page but then when you click on the transaction it will say you paid with gift cards as payment

Well, I feel like Charlie Brown.... I got a rock.. :sad2:

I have been holding on to my Ebucks since the first of the month waiting for an offer. I finally decided today I better go ahead and buy Ebay cards from PPDG since some were reporting delays and errors.
The order was confirmed for me at 2:02 p.m.

At 2:14 p.m. I got the Flash Sale Ebucks offer. :cool1:

But no matter how I try I cannot make a purschase. I can put the cards in my cart but I can't go further. :badpc::badpc:
Customer Service sent me up the ladder but no one can figure it out. I am not near my limit, my account is in good standing, cleared cookies, tried a different browser, restarted computer, tried mobile app, tried not using Ebates, etc....
Basically they don't know what's wrong but they said it's not on their end. They will work on it but it probably won't be fixed by the time this sale ends.

Tried for over an hour to get this to work. I'm giving up.
We are volunteering at a nursing home tonight, that should put my 'bad luck' into perspective.

I can confirm the AMEX offer works on e-gift cards. I bought 2x$25 (Chili's and Panera) and 1x$50 (Target) and I have already received the $25 statement credit. My offer is listed as "redeemed" though since it is a one-time use.
