Disney Gift Card Deals

This looks like it is no longer happening. I placed 2 orders in the last 4 days and have not received credit for it at Mypoints. They credit after 24 hours, normally.

My orders on the 15th and 16th credited. When was your first non-crediting order?

Does this quarter for eBay end on the 31st? If so, do purchases made that day credit that day or does it take a while?

For all the folks requesting a step by step recipe, I want to reiterate how important it is to go back and invest your time reading this thread before investing your money! I was thrilled in December when I used Target giftcards and redcard to buy our disney tickets for February. When I got home I began reading about other opportunities there may be for saving for our next trip in Oct. 2017.
I read and read and read:surfweb::coffee::surfweb::coffee::surfweb::coffee:-for days!!! Started reading on 2/19 and finally on 2/24 bought a couple hundred $ of Target CG on Raise. I FORGOT to go thu Swagbucks for 1/2 of it so no little SB thereo_O!. THEN I didn't correctly order my EBay CGs from Target so no redcard discount either :sad2:! Yup...the learning curve! Next, I carefully listened to all the advice here about being patient and waiting for a 4x or 5x offer... but got my first offer at 3x and plowed ahead. (A bigger offer came out a few days later :rolleyes1!!!) Indeed, I completed a full churn and took away a few lessons whiles I integrated what I learned from the wonderful folks here. My next round was much better!
It is a complicated sometimes convoluted, confusing process. READ and educate yourself, get hands on with what you learn and begin small so the mistakes you make don't keep you up at night. When you need help, ask specific questions to these pros who are so generous with their knowledge.
A big Thank you to all of you sharing your experiences and advise to those of us new to this carnival -Not for the faint of heart or the impatient! (sorry I can't remember who to give credit for that)
I am on my way to DisneyWorld in Oct 2017 and this thread is helping make it possible!!! THANK YOU!!!!:smickey:

I have been doing this for a good 8 months or so now and there are times when I still forget to activate my shopping portal or to add an item to my cart at Target. It's just a lot to remember sometimes. I made myself a little cheatsheet to reference for each of the major steps to try and remember. But in the end, I don't beat myself up if I forget a few little things. The savings are still adding up and I am happy with the results.

To those that have had success at Kmart buying Ebay/Disney GCs using Kmart GCs...

I just tried it today and failed. The cashier tried to put it through but the register wouldn't allow it.

I am wondering if it was because it was a paypal egift card and not a true Kmart GC.

only physical cards work, egift cards need manager override.

Does anyone know if CVS allows to buy a gc with a gc ? eBay daily deals has a $100 for $88.

Cannot be said enough! I'm just trying to figure out where "below the radar" is lol. Is it $100 a week? Is it $300 a day? Is it $5k each quarter? I wish we knew...

I also wish we knew the answer. I tend to stay at $300 a day (and not every day, of course!!)...so that is either made up of one $200 and one $100 in ebay OR three $100 in Disney. Maybe I could do more and get away with it but the no-more-than-$300 feels safe.

I am done messing with this for a few days, denied again for a $100 eBay and hand soap.
I don't know why yours aren't going through. I ordered 3 $200 eBay GCs this evening along with a small item and the GCs were in my email within an hour of ordering. Taking a break is probably a good idea. Too many attempts to would just look suspicious.

I usually do $450 in a day, 3 $100's and 3 $50's, which is what it limits me to so I figure that should be good as long as I'm following their limits! Hopefully, that is so. Although, I can't say I've never done more than one order in a day. Once that 5x offer came out back in late Feb maybe or early Mar, I had just gotten my cards from ebay, and figured it'd be a while before another offer, so I held off a couple days before converting and boom 5x offer! But, I'm trying to stay ahead of things when I now, which hasn't been hard since I reached my $5000 just before it was changed, and my $500 ebucks limit. Still waiting for DD25's acct to get going so hoping she gets the next offer - I'm all ready for it! If she doesn't get it, I might go ahead and purchase a couple cards to get it sparked maybe but hoping not to have to do that and miss more ebay bucks! Then, in mid April I will have to convert some to Disney for our trip May 7-14.

A few days ago I posted about needing another shopping portal. I have been using iConsumer and they weren't giving me anything for buying ebay cards through Target. Now I know to go through ebates and add a small item. BUT, I still need a portal that will give rewards for buying TARGET through ebay. iConsumer does but I am at my limit for the month.
I always use Topcashback when going to Ebay to buy my Target cards and it's been great. Credited every time and all purchases have reached the approved stage, even from a couple weeks ago. For one of the ebay promo offers, TCB was offering 2.5% and I got $40! My first couple took longer to go to approved but suddenly this week all the rest went thru quickly.

Well I definitely think on Disney gift cards it is probably a good idea to only buy up the the $500 allowed in a single order per day. For what ever reason target set that limit and having duplicate orders for an item with a set buying limit very likely could be something flagging the account for manual review/evaluation. As to eBay or other cards with no set limit who knows?
Don't they limit Ebay and other cards? I can only buy 3 $100's and 3 $50's at a time.

I'm new to ebates but my understanding is I'll get 1% through them for buying Target cards through eBay. Is there a way to see if it's credited before you check out?

Make sure you either go directly through ebates, or you have the browser button clicked. eBay ebates take a while to credit. Usually even up to a week. No way of seeing these until after you purchase.

No, but I sometimes take a screen shot of the shopping portal. That way if the credit doesn't go through I know which shopping trip I bought them at. Ebates usually sends an email saying what you earned a day or so after you buy it. You can also look it up under your account because occasionally I do not get the email.

No, you won't see if the purchase of Target cards at eBay, using the link from Ebates, is credited before you finish paying. I think that how it works is that eBay verifies to Ebates that you did indeed make a completed purchase. I've been using topcashback lately, but I did use Ebates a few Times before that and they always credited my eBay purchases if I used the link from Ebates to get to eBay. They do show up a bit quicker than TCB though, so that was cool. They aren't going to credit you before you pay for your purchase.

There very well maybe a eBay gift card limit-I didn't recall seeing a limit posted here before and I haven't bought them myself (just the Disney cards). If there is a limit on those too I'd prob not do multiple orders per day on those either to try to circumvent the limit.
ETA you are right I just looked at it is 3 $100 eBay gift cards in a single purchase just like Disney-thanks for the correction :)
