I can't apply more than one gift card to my order. Does anyone have this problem? When I try one card for my order, it still works. But as I put in another one, eBay says that they can't apply code to my order.

Could you have hit the $5k limit with Paypal?

Ah, sorry you bought at $50. I am sure I contributed to that by posting I didn't think they would restock. They normally don't, or at least not that I have seen. I am considering making a purchase and just paying with a credit card b/c I have hit my 5k and cannot get my dh's Paypal to play nice. But I have $1800 in eBay I need to use so I may just wait. Hold out hope we get can his Paypal figured out and then I'll jump on the next sale, which will probably be 3x for everyone lol.

I am glad you waited patiently through that last promo. It is so hard to wait. I've made the mistake of jumping the gun and then regretting it. It not only ties up your gift cards in transit but uses your 5k limit, which I am learning the hard way, is not fun once you hit it.

I'm a little behind in the thread so just able to skim thru, but saw you are having issues buying with hubby's new account. Ugh! Good luck, hopefully that gets figured out for you pretty quick here! That 90 days to wait is tough, too! Is that how they always do it? I was thinking of having DD25 open account but that's a long wait! I guess that'd be late May, and our second trip this year isn't till November.

And looks like they did run out soon after I bought! Then I'd have been upset all night figuring they wouldn't be back in stock, lol. And last time I also bought $50 cards they never restocked.

But, still thinking about just buying at, in effect, a 10% discount but curious if many do that. I mean, at Raise I'd think 10% was great, then I'd go to target and buy with another 5% off (either eBay or Disney cards) but if I did eBay I could churn more next time. But, ugh, there is that darned eBay $5000 limit! I think I've got to be at like about $1550 after $650 at 4x and $900 at 5x today. By the time I decide, they'll probably be out of $150 cards, lol. Hmmm.

How often do they open your eBay bucks to use? I figure I'll buy Target cards with them to convert right to Disney cards! With free money which is so awesome! This is fun! Sorta stressful, but definitely fun!

I would double check on the GameStop. I was in the store with my boys last week and I noticed that they are "buying" gift cards now - I've never seen that before. I should have asked about using a GAmeStop GC to purchase another GC, but the guy working wasn't so friendly - and I had never seen him in there before. Maybe it has affected their policy, maybe not - but better to ask beforehand.

I heard that too, but my DD's boyfriend tried to do that and they told them that they are only buying gift cards towards the purchase of something in their store. He wanted to sell a GameStop gift card so he could buy a game somewhere else.

I know I got extra bucks from the 4% and the 5x offers.... but it seems that they are available to use in April sometime(?) is this how it works? I don't care that much, but I want to be sure I use them when I can..... ***Also- does anyone have a list or info on other stores where you can use a store gc to purchase another type of gc? other than target....I see WM/Sams you can do it(?) but checking other options also.... thanks!

Ebay bucks are earned quarterly. So, current earning period is Jan-Mar. Pay out is early in the next quarter, early April for the current earn period. You have about a month to use them. Bonus offers are rare during the spending period.

Probably won't find a good list anywhere of where you can use a store gc to buy another type of gc because it changes so frequently, and you can still run into a local issue. I have personally been able to use target, wm/sams, best buy and kmart/sears cards (have been told no upon occasional at kmart, but then the next day was able to use it at that same store) in the last 6 months. That could change tomorrow at any of those stores. I know for sure you *can not* use Staples or Lowes gc to buy other gc.

I bought at $50 too, but it didn't really bother me. $20 in waste when you're saving $120 is basically like getting 4.5X instead of 5X. Not a big deal and definitely worth doing! I only bought at $50 cuz Target is so darn slow to turn around their orders, then cancelled them, then placed the same orders and they went thru. I'm at something like $700 in gravy for a July trip. I don't think I'll ever beat our last trip where I saved about $2000 due to having a year to build up, and less pressure on the gift card system. But this one should come close!

Not a bad idea. Paying cash at Ebay, this would not count against your $5k limit, right? That's only when paying with Ebay certificates? Don't forget you can combine Ebates (1%) or MrRebates (2% if paying cash). So your 10% is really 11% or 12%.

I was able to buy two $150 Target cards this morning and got the 5X eBay Bucks! I'm up to $60 in eBay Bucks for this earning period.
I also got another $10 Target GC from m+ Rewards, combined that with the ones I had with odd amounts on them to get one $50 Target card, and only had to charge $0.16 to my RedCard.

I also started a spreadsheet to track my GC churning - thanks to the lovely DISer who shared his spreadsheet template! Now I'll know exactly what I have at a glance.

Yesterday I had a couple of returns at walmart. I decided to buy 2 disney gift cards with them. When I got home I tried to transfer them on the disney gift card site. I have never had a problem before. I put the $50 one in and it worked just fine, went to do the $25 one and it just kept saying invalid. I called the number on the back and she looked it up and said it had a balance of $25. She said it must have just been a problem with the access code!?!?! She said there wasn't anything I could do to transfer the balance but that it was activated and usable at the store or park. Today I logged into my gift card account and it was loaded on there. I transferred the money and threw the card away! LOL! This has never happened before and I thought it was so weird. Anyone ever experience something like this?

I don't think his Paypal is gonna get sorted out. He isn't as into all this as I am so making several phone calls to Paypal ain't gonna happen. I was lucky to get him to call yesterday and since that person had no clue what they were talking about, it was pointless. Unfortunately, I am sitting on $1800 in ebay. I cannot start running gift cards through ebay again until May, which feels forever away!

I did end up buying some of the $150's this morning and just paying with a CC. It's still a good discount. I may just use those to go straight into Disney. You should be ok on the 5K limit with a couple of churns of $900 more. In my case, I did a bunch of the ebay to ebay GC purchases...where they let you buy $100 for $95...did everyone they offered in Nov and Dec (and sometimes on both mine and dh's ebay which both were going through my Paypal). Those are a trick, I swear!! Never again!

My ebay bucks say they will arrive on Apr 3rd. The free money is awesome and fun and yeah, this whole deal is stressful. I haven't been terribly stressed with it until yesterday. It won't stop me though lol!

Right, only GC payments count against the 5k. I bought $900 and just paid with a CC. I need more money for the trip than I can get just from churning so I had to add more to my 'disney pot'. I went through TCB for 1.5%. Lots of people here don't like them but I never have an issue. In fact, I have money already payable from the last ebay sale I did a month ago or so. So, 10% (ebucks) + 1.5% TCB + 1% CC = 12.5%. Not most amazing ever but not too shabby either. I may just go straight to Disney so another 5% off.

Well, as I suspected, my first attempt at adding in the eBay method fell through. I received the 5X eBucks offer so I bought a Target gift card on Raise (arrived immediately) then turned around and bought the $100 eBay card from Target...which apparently was activated while I was at my DD's basketball game. I came home to place my order, and of course, GCM is now sold out of all the Target gift cards. So now I am sitting with a $100 eBay gift card. Fortunately, our trip isn't until October so I have plenty of time to use it. I was just hoping to get this one purchase under my belt without any glitches...well that didn't happen.

Yes, I think this is a good way to buy gift cards - 5x Paypal rewards plus Ebates or Swagbucks, etc., plus 1-2% from your credit card-linked PP account.

Sure. If you roll that $100 Target card back into an eBay GC, when April comes, you'd have $100 + $10 towards your next $150 Target card. (And $5 in Target GC left over). Or if you hit another 4x or 5x deal, you could tack on another $8-10 before then. It depends on how much effort you want to put into this.

As you can see, the more you churn at one time, the more you're rewarded for the same amount of effort.

* You can earn up to $100 in eBay Bucks on any single eBay purchase. This means that if the eBay Bucks earn percentage is 2% and the purchase price (excluding tax, shipping fees) is in excess of $5,000, you would be restricted from earning any more eBay Bucks for that purchase beyond the $100 eBay Bucks purchase earn limit.
* You can earn up to $500 in eBay Bucks for all qualifying purchases during a given calendar quarter. This means that if the eBay Bucks earn percentage is 2% and the total value of qualifying purchases exceeds $25,000 during a given calendar quarter, you would be restricted from accumulating any more eBay Bucks beyond the $500 eBay Bucks quarterly earn limit.

The $500 per quarter is pretty restrictive. Given this I'll hold off on using Ebay bucks for direct buys and save it for churn. Basically if you intend to hit your $5000 limit in a short time at 5X, that will use up your $500 right away, then you can't do more till the next quarter. At which point you could switch to your alternate PP account and run up the $500 again. If you buy-in direct, you could burn that $500/quarter in no time. So I would only do this if I had Ebay bucks left to be earned in the quarter, but had hit a brick wall w/ regards to any further gift cert spending due to the Paypal limits. Maybe this is even incentive to have that 2nd Ebay account, which I hadn't previously seen a need for.

No. Have used a credit card many times for paying. Of course they charge the seller a fee, but that is not our problem as buyers.
EDIT: In the case of friends-and-family money sending, if you try to send by CC, you'll get a fee. But when buying a product, no.

Ugh, I have been trying to use two ecards and they said that they were not activated yet. Now, all of a sudden it says "we can't apply this code to your order". Any idea what that means??
