Does anyone have the phone number for GCM they include when they ship their cards? I need to call them ASAP and the contact info I have for them is at home. Thank you.

As of right now, my order has been stolen and GCM emailed me that they'll only replace the unused card.

Let us know how it goes. This is such a fear of mine with this process. I hope they get it taken care of for you.
 
I just emailed PPDG about the problems with lockouts after trying to purchase through them. They told me they couldn't help me because there was no order to reference. :rolleyes2

Well of course there's no order when I couldn't get the order to go through...PP finally admitted yesterday on my 5th call that it was that particular transaction that was locking me out (which I already knew based on this thread). Seems no one really cares about finding a solution. PP said it was a "questionable vendor" and didn't have a response when I responded with their positive rating number
 

Gahhhh! I just placed an order at GCM that will require signature and forget to change the delivery address to my work address. Will they do it after the fact if I email? Is there a way for me to fix this?
Nope, they replied to me that I'd have to cancel the order if I needed to change the address after purchase. I didn't wanna chancy the messing up anything so just left it. But, as I think it was Marionnette said, you can change at Ups. If you set up a Choice acct at UPS, it's free to set up, though I think like $5 to switch to another address. Free to ship to a UPS store for pick up though.

But,GCM will mail it to whatever address you choose out of the addresses you list in your paypal. They have a spot when you pay if you wanna add another address and I did it worked great, when I remember, lol. I have my address I opened account with, then a work address and DD's account. I never had to verify the extra addresses I added. Of course, I wanna use my work address now as someone is always there to sign but I usually forget, which is Frustrating, lol.

Questionable vendor??? Isn't PayPal Digital Gifts their own company??? :sad2: They use the PayPal logo. If it is not their company, then they need to file to have that store closed down. Unless, of course, PayPal was admitting that they themselves are a questionable vendor. :rolleyes1
 
Lots of nice, newer hotels up around Medical Center Parkway.. the hwy 96 exit is mostly older hotels.

Yes, I was definitely looking at those. IIRC, we stopped at those on our 2014 or 2015 trip and they were very nice. They do seem to be running close to $200 room/night after taxes/fees and, as a family of 8, we need two rooms, so I just haven't decided if $800 for two nights (1 night down and 1 night back) is worth it.

GCM restocked. Now hoping for ebates birthday special or Ebucks:surfweb:

I went ahead and grabbed 6 of them for a low $18 in ebucks. There probably won't be a promo before next Monday and we leave Wednesday. I did hold on to a little over $100, just in case there is a coupon code this week.

UPS. UPS won't do anything unless they're directed by the shipper (GCM). The shipment never even made it to the truck. According to the UPS tracking, it has spent the last 8 days in a warehouse in... New Jersey. (Said like Fred Armisen impersonating Governor Patterson.)

Nearly every message I've received from GCM seems to have not read some or all of my previous messages to them. It's very frustrating. This has been dragging on since last Friday and I'm hardly any closer to any sort of resolution than I was when I began.

Up until now, I always gave them glowing reviews on eBay. Everything's peachy until it isn't, right?

That's terrible! There's no reason it should be dragging on like this. If it is in a warehouse in NJ, wouldn't it be UPS responsibility? Why would they need anything from GCM to confirm that they, UPS, misplaced the package! I hate the pass the buck no accountability mentality so many companies adopt.
I hope this gets resolved swiftly for you.

Ugh, that sounds like a nightmare. I would hope that since it was entrusted to UPS with signature-required delivery that they will do something about it once GCM directs them too. One thing's for sure, GCM does not seem to have stellar communication. Keep us updated and good luck.
 
anybody else had trouble using the target gift cards in the store? i tried one a few weeks ago at the register and something popped up and it wouldn't scan, i then tried it in the food court with no luck. i ended up using online and it worked just fine. today i tried using some that had leftover from online orders at the checkout and the screen said this card can only be used (i don't remember the rest, something like where it was purchased from) but she wouldn't let me use it.. so weird. i hope that is not a real problem.

Were you buying GCs with it or just merchandise?
 
Was it a gift card you bought directly (from target/gift card mall, etc) or was it from a resale site like raise?

Are there two barcodes on the card? Sometimes they scan the wrong one.
 
I had a problem one time. I don't remember the code that came up but a manager came over and looked at the gift card and showed the cashier what he needed to do. They referred to the gift card as a promotional gift card (I had received them thru GCM). The cashier was fairly new.

ETA - Sometimes they scan the wrong barcode too.

there were two barcodes..(next time i will tell them to try the other one) they were target cards from gift card mall.. i chalked the first one up to coincidence but then today when it happened again i got a little worried.

I'm pretty sure we've talked about this before, somewhere in the 200 page range, and again in the 400's. Yes, the cards from GCM have two barcodes and the smaller one is what they need to scan in order to use it as payment.
