PSA: Gamestop is supposedly getting Visa pre-paid cards. Fingers crossed that the incoming cards don't mean the end of GC > GC. I'm going on the defense here and converting all my Gamestop GC > Ebay later on today.

So just an update target sent me an email saying my order was delayed new dates are may 23-june 10. I could accept new dates or cancel. didnt see this email till after I already canceled the entire order. didn't want to chance the preordered blu ray. i'll just reorder in a couple days.

Funny you mention this. Went to a local GS today looking at their Disney Infinity figures (so sad they are discontinuing!) and just asked randomly if there were restrictions on what you could buy with a GS gc and they said only thing was their Visa prepaid cards otherwise it's just like a cc and good for anything including other gc's (which I threw in there to clarify). But I did see the Visa gc's in store. Again YMMV but my GS' seem pretty laid back about it.

Hmm, that one sounds pretty good. As someone mentioned earlier, you can also do a Hotels . com GCs from eBay to use with their 8% off and a cash back portal. Travelocity has also been having 15% sales pretty frequently, but idk if those are over. We need a hotel near Murfreesboro, TN (halfway point) so I've been looking for a good deal too.

We live near murfreesboro. You can often find better hotel deals at the Sam Ridley Parkway exit in Smyrna, just about 10 minutes before Murfreesboro. Several newish hotels there and I see them come up often for discounts.

Just wondering... It seems like most people that have shipping problems with GCM were shipped through UPS. Has that been the case with most of you who have had bad experiences? I'm rethinking my past decisions to order the higher amount to go through UPS which I had always done to save on shipping and for the protection of the required signature. I have a locking mailbox so I feel safe with USPS if I'm not home.

I have been churning for over a year and I do this specifically for UPS delivery. I haven't had a trouble yet. But others have. I think accidents will happen.

Does anyone know if the terms are different (say for example if the money was drained) or if you receive it right away? TY

I just went to Raise and only saw a coupon for 1% off (still better than nothing). When I have bought gc's in raise that were part of a promotion (extra 5% off but only for 8 selected companies), the discount was included in the price I paid, not something they sent me later. I'm not sure I answered your question. Let me know if I missed something.

In April, we didn't see any, and from what I recall, that was the month that ebay paid everyone their ebucks rewards, if they qualified. I saw someone write that they typically waited a month and then ran promotions.
We have had promotions on 4/27, 5/4(I think), and 5/9-10.
Should we expect about one a week until July? Or should we expect to be surprised?

It looks like @eeyoresmom forgot to include the promo code, which is APP10. Works in the Android or iOS Raise app only. I haven't tried it, but the chatter on SD seems to say that most of the good brands have been cleared out. If you find something you like or need, it's a pretty good deal.

So far this quarter, eBay offered Bucks bonus offers on 4/20-21 (8%), 4/27 (6-hr. flash bonus, 8%), 5/2-3 (8%), and 5/9-10 (6%). That's been every week for the past four weeks. I'm sure there will be some weeks with no offers.

No.

It's very much a YMMV. The registers will generally allow you to, but staff & managers vary in their willingness to let you do so.

Also, not all Gamestops carry eBay cards.
