I'm running up to Rite Aid to get some GS cards and then hopefully get some ebay ones with those. All gamestops will let you buy gift cards with their gift cards right?

I was just going to ask the same thing. In Connecticut I only see the 4x the gas. (Ends today) we are buying a refrigerator this coming week, this would really help out.

You'll save more than $10 on groceries by shopping at another store. Their prices are as much as 50% higher than the local competitor where I live.

For me, S&S falls in the middle, I can do better at Shop Rite and Aldi, but worse at Hanaford. I only shop sales so I make out okay, plus my ds likes a specific juice and S&S is the only place that carries it here.

GCM has their head up their [part of the anatomy I won't mention on a 'family' board]. This is excruciating. I gave them all the info they needed last Friday and they still have no idea which way is up on this problem. Supposedly, this is now being escalated to their "2nd tier", but they can't even give me an ETA when that group will get back to me. The only small positive so far is that I did manage to get them to "reprint" and send the one GC that hadn't been cashed yet. I can look forward to that in another 5-8 business days.

They've made Target support look like the gold-star standard.

Does that mean it's confirmed that the other GC are in fact stolen and being used already? That's unfortunate and sorry for the trouble that's happening to you.

Just picked up a $100 ebay gift card at S+S. I only got the 4x gas points. Still a deal since I have a Chase Freedom and grocery is 5% cashback. I'm thinking it's an either/or offer and the $10 coupon is only at S+S's that don't do fuel rewards.

Different stores must be running different promos. My S&S does fuel rewards but they weren't advertising a 4X bonus on GCs this week.

...this might be the end of GC > GC at GameStop.

Wow, so these have definitely been stolen. Oh my, I am so sorry. It sure seems like UPS is liable here, right? Someone stole from their facility...?

This sounds like my miserable experience with GCM customer service. I ordered from ebay trying to use by ebay bucks. Somehow the order went through but didn't use my bucks. I immediately tried to cancel. I called and they said yes they see it was cancelled no problem & money would be refunded, but it was at their second tier. Ebay said it couldn't be cancelled. The gift cards arrived and they had 0.00 balance. Everytime I called all they would tell me is the money would be refunded when the 2nd tier could look at it, and gave me a time frame which came and went. Even after the timeframe they were just like when 2nd tier gets to it, but wouldn't let me talk to anyone in this 2nd tier. It was beyond frustrating. Eventually, they did refund my money, but it took 2+ weeks.

Yes. 4 of the 5 were drained by the time GCM got around to checking them. I don't know when they were drained, but it was 4-5 days after I reported an issue with the shipment before they checked.

Yes, UPS is liable. But they're liable to GCM, not me. Only GCM is liable to me and they're not exactly on the ball. I'm doing as much of their job for them as is possible and they still can't get anything right.

Sorry you had such a lousy time with their customer support, too; your experience is not encouraging. I still don't know who this mysterious "2nd tier" involves. I feel like it's when a car salesman says he has to go "talk to his manager".

If there were any other [legitimate] vendors selling Target cards on eBay, GCM would've lost my business permanently over this.

It looks like @eeyoresmom forgot to include the promo code, which is APP10. Works in the Android or iOS Raise app only. I haven't tried it, but the chatter on SD seems to say that most of the good brands have been cleared out. If you find something you like or need, it's a pretty good deal.

Has anyone else done this sucessfully? I keep getting an error that this promo is for new users only yet the promo email doesn't say that anywhere! ughhh

I've never bought more than $300 at one time in store. I did $450 two weeks ago but went to two cashiers.

We went to a local store and bought $2,000 worth of Ebay Cards. The cashier was very professional and not saying a lot during the transaction and completed it all fine. When we got to the car we were afraid we may have left a card at the register. So I went back in and saw the cashier bent over the register writing a note, as I got closer I saw the stack of gift cards next to her as she wrote the note. I just smiled and walked up to her asking if we left an extra card behind I thought she was going to jump out of her skin when she noticed me. That was one of those days we didn't feel like running all over the place keeping it small, but we generally keep it to $400 without any issues.
