Apologies in advance for going off topic here, but I figure if anyone has insight, it will be this group! Any experience booking a cruise on Priceline via Ebates? Ebates is offering 18.5% cash back today, so I took advantage since we have a non-Disney cruise booked for next summer. 18.5% is huge on a cruise fare!! Too good to be true? Always a skeptic here. Thoughts?

That is an awesome deal, I thought maybe it was an error, but Shop at Home also has cruises at 16% cashback, so it seems more correct when I see other cashback sites offering huge rebates too.

Thanks for the info. I am not at all familiar with Atlanta. We are driving in from PA and my DS is flying to NOLA to see his GF. I'm then going to TN to see my sister while he is there. It's a strange, disjointed trip for me.

I was looking at the Marriott by the Airport. It gets good reviews, but it is on the pricey side and it looks like they charge $18 to $20 extra per day for parking.

Sorry to go off topic. I'm just in unfamiliar territory. Hard for this uber planner. LOL

It's fine. Feel free to message me. There is a Drury Inn near the airport (closer than the Marriot, actually) and they have lots of freebies. I can't believe they charge for parking. That is ridiculous!

I have seen those percentages (or something close to it) for cruises before, I think through Expedia or Orbitz. Let us know how it goes, definitely screen shot what you can, but I would love to hear about your experience because we'd considered going that route as well!

I've seen cruises with that big of a cashback before.. I actually took advantage of a 20% CB on activities two years ago (20% CB on Disney tickets that were being offered at buy 3 days, get 2 free) It was an awesome deal and it worked!

Somebody had posted a response they received from GCM when they asked if they could sell Disney cards through EBAY. The response was that Ebay controled what they could sell.

I am not saying it is a conspiracy. But it is something to make you go Hmmm.

GCM has to ship to your verified eBay address. However, once the package has shipped, you can notify UPS that you either want it diverted to a local UPS Store or to another address (which may cost you a fee).
