Disney Gift Card Deals

I followed this thread religiously a year ago preparing for our trip in August 2015. It saved me a ton. We are planning another trip in September so here I am again and WOW have things changed! Sad to see the Redcard discount go away for Disney Gift cards at Target.com. So I have a stupid question. Why can I get the 5% discount online for other gift cards??? I just did it for a Southwest card. My discounted Target gift cards just came today. I will be going to Target tomorrow to get my Disney gift cards. Hopefully I won't have any issues.

The 5% wast working on any gift cards last week, it appears to be fixed except it is a little glitchy on giving the 5% on regular purchases. I read that earlier today that disney cards were available online but sold out very quickly.

Because, first of all, it was just this time last weekend it seemed the 5% at target .com when buying gcs with gcs, was definitely and completely gone! Just as we were all trying to adjust and devise new plans, Suddenly yesterday, Friday morning, the 5% was back and working even better than before, and even some wording in the terms, (at least on the app), were improved!! So you came back just in time for things to be completely in flux in regards to the 5% disc when paying with a Gc for a gc online, lol. But, for now, the 5% disc online is good! Woohoo!!

My Target just got self checkout There weren't even signs of it when I was there last Sunday morning and I used it tonight. There's not many around Seattle that have them, at least that I shop at. And the one uses a different voice. It was almost comforting to hear the self check out voice tonight because it's the one I heard the most when I lived in NC which had a ton of places with self check out.

I decided to try things out at Shopko this afternoon, because we frequently get $10 off a $50 purchase coupon and it would be nice to be able to take advantage of those offers in my Disney churning. And I don't think I know a whole lot more than I did before

I went to the register with a $50 ebay card and about $25 of clothes. I had the cashier start with the gift card and see if the coupon would work with just that - as I expected, it didn't. No biggie, so he added the rest of the purchase, but then instead of scanning my $10 off $50 coupon, he scanned one he had at the checkout for $10 off a clothing purchase! So, I still netted the same amount off, but I don't know if the basic $10/$50 coupon would work for a purchase of a gift card and additional item(s) if the additional items are less than $50! But, I was able to pay for my transaction with gift cards, so I guess I did learn that much

Unfortunately I don't have any more "churning funds" available to try again with this coupon this week, but next time I'll try again!

It was discussed earlier in this thread, but I'm going to mention it again because I'm going to try it out for fun.

There's an ebay seller deal for $50 BB Physical GC for $47.50 (5% off) from Giftcardoutlet. I found an article online when you search them that they're actually Cardpool on eBay. I personally like Raise over cardpool because of customer service. But I decided to get some BB GC from Giftcardoutlet because purchasing on eBay will give me eBay's buyer protection, and I plan to use it directly in store to get eBay GCs.

An interesting mention is that Giftcardoutlet is also part of the Blackhawk umbrella.

I am so glad that I read your post. I have many target gift cards that just came in the mail, and I really was bummed that I wasn't going to get the discount. So relieved, and am rushing to get these done before they change their minds again.

BB cashiers let you use GC to buy a Disney GC or do you have to order online and pickup in-store?

I believe it's one of those YMMV situations.

For me, I found a BB that has cashiers who would do it for me. While others find it hard at their local BB. Mixed answers for order online and pickup in store, haven't tried it because it limits me to $50 denomination eBay GCs, which isn't as ideal as my local BB has loadable eBay GC to $500.00.

I just placed an order on target.com for eBay gift cards and had them emailed in 35 minutes. Fastest time ever for me.

After the second ebay gift card order was cancelled, (several days apart) I called and was told that I am not allowed to order gift cards with the discount, don't know if it was their interpretation or not. Also, interestingly I had ordered Disney GC's during this time and they went through. I had no trouble on my DH's account, so I ordered the ebay gc's from there.

disney gift cards were available this morning, but sold out fast. so really dont think thats true.

I do hope that isn't true. I did notice that a large number of physical gift cards are now listed as in store only. I'm hoping that they are just all out of stock!

I hope that isn't true. They did sell out extremely fast & someone mentioned that the $100 gift cards have been out of stock for 3 weeks now.

Hopefully they weren't back online this morning just selling the rest of what physical gift cards they had left in stock, before moving to email only gift cards.
