You can sign up at any cash register for the card and they just collect basic data like name, phone, addy, etc.

With the 4x fuel rewards, $250 in GC would get you $1 off up to 36 gallons. They usually expire at the end of the next month. So if I go buy $100 in GC today it will net me $0.40 off a gallon to use by the end of June.

wow! thats awesome. i was going to pick up all my cards at target but i think i will purchase $250 at kroger and get the $1 off gas. do i need a coupon for the 4x or is it automatic?

As long as you have the card, it's automatic.

One thing...make sure you're close to a Kroger's gas station. Or, if you're near a Shell gas station, you can use 100 points per trip to get 10 cents off a gallon. However, that's not nearly as good as using 1,000 points to get a dollar off.

You should probably check before you leave, but it seems that there is usually a Kroger fuel center nearby even if there isn't one at your chosen store. Keep in mind though, that your discount is larger the more gas you purchase. If you're out of town and filling up your car, I'm guessing you won't be bringing extra fuel cans to get the full 35 gallons. So your discount will be based on the size of your tank. If your tank only holds 10 gallons for example, you will only save $10 with your $250 gift card purchase, which is only a 4% savings. In that case, the Target discount would be better. Just something to think about.

FYI, Sam's Club online currently has a Disney $50 gift card three pack for $142.98. Not quite the 5% that Target offers but close, especially if your credit card gives decent cash back.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the Pharmacy coupon is no longer accepted for Disney/entertainment cards. Unless it has been brought back?

You will only get the 5% redcard discount. The pharmacy coupon loophole was closed at the end of March/start of April this year and no longer works on the entertainment cards. So your total will be $4940, so still save $260.

Plus many Krogers sell the name your amount cards (mine does, I think it's up to $250 it might be higher) so you'll not have to buy as many cards.

You may also want to shop around & see if you can find your prescriptions cheaper somewhere else (for even more savings). I no longer support the Target pharmacy, since the Rx rewards can't be used towards Disney gift cards.

A previous poster mentioned the Topcashback website which gives 2% back at Cardpool. Just got an email that Cardpool is having a "sale" on Walmart gift cards. Link to Cardpool through TopCashBack and purchase Walmart gift cards. Then use the Walmart cards at Sams to get your Disney gift cards . . .

TopCashBack = 2%
Cardpool = 4%
Sams = 4.68%
Personal Credit card used in purchase = 1%??

It works out to over 11% in savings. Not bad. I believe Topcashback limits you to $1,000 in purchases.

I don't think it's only on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It's through June 17. I thought Friday, Saturday, Sunday was 2x points on groceries with the digital coupon.

I'll be buying a $400 gift card before 6/17 which will bring my April 2015 cruise balance down to $670!

That is correct. The 4x fuel points are valid through June 17 any day of the week. The 2x fuel points on other purchases is only on the weekends with a digital coupon. (Worth noting that gift cards are normally 2x fuel points so even if the 4x isn't running it can still be a good deal). Also keep track of when your fuel points expire as you don't want to lose them.

I thought you only got the 5% off of the amount actually charged to the Redcard.

That's what I have been doing! Buying Target GC from Kroger and then buying the Disney cards on Target website. I also cash out my checkpoints and swagbucks for Target GC then use my RedCard for the extra 5%

That is what I was told at my store a couple of weeks ago. I was still able to get it online though. Just a pain in that you can only order 3 at a time

Here in TN, they haven't allowed the redcard 5%off in years on Disney gift cards.. i just buy them all online and save the trip. The nearest store is 45 min away as it is... I'd be spending more in gas just to go buy the darn gift cards. Online from home with free shipping works for me!
