Disney Gift Card Deals

only time giftcard mall really messed up this topic, was when they had target gift cards on sale. orders made during that time were getting canceled, but took like a week to get your money back, but that was really the only time i could think of.

Doesn't giftcardmall's negative feedback scare anyone else? Do you still get ebucks for buying from individual sellers?
Don't look at the total number of negatives. Look at their percentage rating, which is 99%. Being a business owner myself, I know that every once in a while you're going to have a customer who isn't happy, no matter how far you bend over backwards to accommodate them. And that's the customer who is more likely to provide feedback, whether it's on Yelp, Facebook or ebay.

Most of us have all purchased from giftcardmall and trust them. They send the physical card with the scratch thing still on. They are an authorized giftcard seller that provides giftcards sold in other stores. Buying from an individual, to me, is more risky; they can easily drain your card.

I would say GCM is the way to go. Like other people have said, very few negative experiences with them. I was really nervous too the first time I purchased a gift card from them but it all worked out! Don't forget they ship in the mail so it takes a few weeks to arrive. :)

Is anyone using their churning profits for anything else besides Disney trips?

We need to replace several appliances (clothes washer and dryer and dish washer) in the near future. We would most likely buy from Sears. Those 15% off Sears gift cards are looking pretty good to me. Especially if I could buy them during a bonus ebucks time.

I feel much more comfortable buying from Gift Card Mall than I would buying from individual sellers.

GCM is the same supplier that stocks the walls of gift cards in Target, grocery stores, etc. You're just buying through their eBay storefront.

I tried to buy my first Target cards using some VISA gift cards.. just one $200 card. It got canceled! This is my first time buying gift cards on Target's website so it can't be that I am flagged. This makes me nervous to proceed. I so want to do this and am so impressed with what you all do but if my very first order got canceled, is that a bad sign?

You can just go into a Target store to buy the Target gift card with the Visa card. You won't get the extra 5%, but I have always had the prepaid visa cards work at the register.

You wouldn't get 5% off online, either. It works for Disney GCs and eBay GCs but not Target GCs.

I have done this, but to a more limited extent than with Disney. I used some savings to purchase an espresso machine for about 70% off retail. I also did some for the remaining items on our wedding registry. But Disney is the big goal that I have. I like the idea of churning towards big expenses that aren't in our regular budget.

I have also thought about churning for Sears to purchase a treadmill. I also churn for airline gift cards. So far I have only purchased Southwest, but I also notice that eBay has American Airlines and Delta GCs.

I had an order with GCM that happened at the time they were canceling orders, but it was never fulfilled or canceled. I had to message them (I waited almost a month), and they finally canceled it and refunded the money back to my ebay cards. I lost out on a 5x because of it. I left them a less than great feedback because it was their fault (they had cards in stock when they canceled, too), and stated the issue in the feedback, but I still ordered from them again. They messed up, but they did refund when I brought it to their attention, and they've consistently shipped all my other orders. I definitely trust GCM more than individual sellers (I'd buy from raise before I'd pay more than face value from an individual).

I did churn to pay for our Delta airline tickets for our Disney trip this past month. I got the Delta cards from eBay.

Currently, not really since we are saving for our honeymoon, but the idea of it in the future is definitely a possibility. I have also thought about taking our Ebates and putting that towards something. Right now it will just go towards more Disney gift cards. ;)

Does Delta limit the # of gc per purchase?

Yes, they limit you to three forms of payment. Our flights were $250 each, so I had to purchase my ticket and my husband's ticket separately because we had $100 gift cards. I then called and had them link our flights together so that DH would get my flyer mile benefits and could get upgraded seats. Kind of a pain, but I ended up paying just $150 each ticket. The extra $200 savings was worth it to me.

I've never had any problems with them. If you look at the 3 negative they got in the last month, two of them are because they wouldn't let them cancel the order. It says right in the listing all sales are final, activated cards can't be refunded. So, that's the buyers fault, not the seller.

I am done with his year's Disney trip, which is in Sept, so now I am churning for a new fridge. Our old one is not gonna make it that much longer so I'm working on that right now. Then I will switch back to churning for 2017 vacation, which we hope is a Disney cruise.
