Disney Gift Card Deals

That concerns me as well. I may have to test those options with a small value gift card. I'm also considering buying some of my eBay GC in-store at Target rather than online. I know I won't get the 5%, but if it keeps me under the radar, it might be worth it. Especially since I'm doubling the amount of eBay bucks I can earn each year.

We just used the last of DS's PayPal limit yesterday and had three weeks to go before I could use my account, so this is making us rethink our entire strategy.

Does Target sell eBay gift cards in-store? I've never had reason to notice.

Yes, my Target sells $25 and $50, unfortunately I haven't seen $100 or $200. I bought them in-store once earlier this year when people started reported that they were banned/flagged and we didn't know why. I have three Targets very close to me so it was actually quicker than placing an order, hoping it doesn't get cancelled, waiting for the cards to be delivered and then waiting for them to be activated.

My swagbucks is not showing Raise as a cashback site any longer. Is everyone else still seeing it?

So I've decided to try the whole churning thing-just going to start small. Using the new sale with double fuel perks at Giant Eagle I bought a $200 visa prepaid card when I first entered the store. I did my grocery shopping and seeing that it was already activated I used that to buy a $200 eBay gift card (taking @Friendlyadvice2 advice to double dip on fuel perks savings). Since I used my Amex Blue cash that gives 6% back at grocery stores I paid $194.53 (lost some savings because of the $6.95 Visa card fee) for my $200 eBay gift card but I earned $1.60 off per gallon of gas. Now I only redeem 18 gallons or so at a time (since my husband is VERY opposed to the idea of driving with extra gas tanks in the car just to save some $) but still that's over 14% saved in gas plus the 2.75% saved in cash back from Amex-so I am at about 16.75% savings and I haven't even ordered from eBay, yet. Here's to hoping they have another promo soon :)

So, after all the churning & you have money to buy Disney gift cards, you use those on the Disney gift card site & combine them on just a few cards & then use them to pay for food at Disney and/or use individual cards to make room payments online (MyDisneyExperience) and/or pay them toward tickets on places like undercovertourist.com? Do I have this all correct or am I leaving out some details that will be important? TIA!

It sounds like I need to take baby steps. :) Maybe I can get familiar with this in the coming months & have a little bit for our Nov. trip & then get better at it & be able to make it a YEARLY trip!

One more question: Is topcashback best to use since it pays cash back or is swagbucks better? TIA!

This isn't a super fast process so you are right, you will have a little bit (maybe even a tad more!) for your November trip but you can learn during this time and barring any unfavorable changes in the store policies, you may have a lot more churned for the next year's vacation. Baby steps are good though for now. You will be off and running soon.

As far as tcb or sb's, either one works fine. In the end, you get money from both. I have had a harder time getting sb's to credit. Others here seem to have more difficulty with tcb.

I combine mine and pay for everything I can. You cannot pay UCT with a Disney card though. I buy my tickets from Disney since the discount is better than UCT with the discounted gift cards.

How often does GCM do sales on Target gift cards? How often does Ebay offer bonus Ebay bucks?

GCM does not run Target on sale very often at all. Maybe someone here has kept track but I can only think of a couple of times and those were mostly around the Christmas shopping time. Ebay ebucks offers are far more often. At least a couple a month and it has seemed like almost weekly lately. But not everyone receives every single offer.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong but I wouldn't think undercover tourist takes Disney gift cards for tickets-I would double check with them first before planning on using Disney gift cards with them.

Right. Two different companies. It'd be like walking into Target and wanting to use a Walmart gift card.

I couldn't tell you how regularly they do it but they did one in late Feb where $100 target gift cards were $95 and free shipping but the limit was 2 per account.

I'm remembering around three or four sales since last August. They definitely seem rare.

I am a little confused by something on the eBay Bucks FAQs. It says must pay with PayPal. Will I still get eBay Bucks if I pay with eBay Gift cards?

That is what I am thinking too. Definitely rare in comparison to how often they run Sears/Kmart on sale. I don't buy those so maybe I am totally off base but those seem like they happen once a month or so.

But I get it, they do not need to run Target on sale. In fact, I keep getting worried they are going to start selling over value like all the individuals who are selling Target. Hopefully, they can't do that.

Yes, you have to go through PP to use ebay GC's.

1. Not entirely sure, but it seems like every couple of months. I hadn't been paying attention because of the paypal cap on using ebay gift cards.
2.

I've only been tracking since late August; there were 2 offers in October I didn't get, and maybe a couple of others:
8/27 2x, 9/9 4x, 9/16 5x, 9/22 4x, 9/28 5x, 11/11 4x, 11/16 3x, 11/23 5x, 12/2 4x, 12/7 3x, 12/15 4x, 12/21 3x, 1/20 4x, 2/1 3x, 2/10 2x, 2/16 5x, 2/25 4x, 3/2 3x, 3/8 5x
and 3/14 4x

Doesn't giftcardmall's negative feedback scare anyone else? Do you still get ebucks for buying from individual sellers?
