I am new to this concept and I think I have the idea but I am not clear on if I can get the 5% discount on Disney cards in my store? I know this isn't the best discount available but we are looking to go end of February and I just learning of this concept.

Yes, in the store, you pay with your Redcard and it will give you 5% off Disney gift cards.

Ok, so I am going to try to venture into this Target/Ebay churning, slowly. I went ahead and purchased $150 worth of Target gift cards at 5% off for $142.50. I have loaded them on my target app and I am ready to go ahead and purchase $150 worth of Ebay gift cards. So after I get the $150 worth of Ebay gift cards through email I will just have to sit on them with hopes of getting a 4xs promo. (hate that part) So I have a few more questions.

1. Don't you have to pay for gift cards on Ebay with Paypal to get the 4xs promo credit? (If so, I will use these cards I just bought and get some groceries at Target)

2. But if I can get the 4xs promo with the Ebay gift cards will they allow me to use more than one gift card number online, since I was planning on getting a $100 and a $50 gift card? Or should I fork over another $50 and just get a $200 Ebay gift card?

3. I have been having all my gift cards I purchase through Target sent to my mother's house because she has a mailbox at her home while I just have a PO Box. Will Target and Ebay deliver gift cards to a PO Box?

I got my last bunch of Disney gift cards from Target yesterday in the mail. Four out of 5 are fine, but the 5th shows a $0 balance.
I'm on hold with Target right now and they're saying to call Disney. I don't think that's right at all, they're not the ones that sold me the card.

I know I've read others say they've had this problem too, but I can' find it now that I got back into the thread. Can anyone tell me how to get this resolved?

Which number did you call for disney? I'm so frustrated. Now, I try to access my DVA and it says I don't have an account! So not only did they keep my 50 from earlier but they also have the rest of my funds tied up somewhere. Ugh

Well, just an update on my unactivated Disney Gift Card order from target.com...
After 1 hour and 12 minutes on the phone (mostly on hold), I finally have them activated!

I went over to the Target store first and the Guest Service team member was baffled and gave me the phone number for Target.com guest service. I think this may be the first time this location's Guest Service folks couldn't help me with a tough issue. They wouldn't even touch it.

Anyway, I immediately called the number he gave me for Target.com. I chose the Gift Card option from their menu and explained what was going on to the rep who answered. She elevated the issue to someone who "could help me", but I had to wait on hold a LONG time for that person to get off the phone with another customer. Once I got on the line with him, he seemed like he knew what he was doing. Took all the numbers down and understood the situation. Then said he wasn't able to activate them and needed to go talk to someone who could. That hold took FOREVER. And, when someone finally came back, it wasn't him but instead the person he talked to (that sounded suspiciously like the first person I spoke with). She told me she couldn't help and that I needed to call Disney. Thanks to the DIS, I knew that was going to be fruitless, so I insisted this was Target's problem, not Disney's, and she was going to fix it for me since I'd been on hold for 45 minutes. She said she'd transfer me, but I couldn't make out where she was sending me. On hold again...

When I got an answer there, it turned out to be the Corporate Gift Card line. Ironically, I'd seen that mentioned here and almost had hung up during my hold time to call them instead. Dave was able to activate 3 of my 4 cards, but had to call Disney for the 4th (which was the one I gave to the first couple team members to check, so that's probably why). It took some time, but he got them all done. Yay!

So, here's the tips:

*Don't waste an hour. Call the Corporate Gift Card department directly. I believe that number is 1-800-544-3875.

*The numbers they will need are not your card number (unless they need to call Disney), but the 10-digit number at the very bottom of your gift card. (I figured that one out - Dave was asking for the last 10 of the card number and it was giving him an error - glad I guessed he might want that other random number instead).

*Be very clear and know what you are talking about. I can't even tell you how many times I was told the wrong thing by the first team members (the order you're holding in your hands has not been delivered yet, you need to call Disney, the cards will activate within 24 hours, so-and-so can help you with this, these were not purchased from us, etc. )

Good luck and hope no one else has to learn this the hard way.

How do you do a ticket on ebates? I've looked and couldn't find anything so I have up.

There's a HELP tab at the very top. Then there are the top 5 asked questions and number one is Where is My Cash Back?

You can also do it on the eBates app (which is where I first discovered the option). Click on My Ebates at the bottom and there's a "Where's My Cash Back?" option.

The only thing is that if you buy a $100 and a $50, you will have to pay full shipping on each card because they are considered two different items. If you buy multiples of the $100, you get a discount on shipping since you are buying multiples of the same item.

There is no shipping on Target.com orders of eBay ecards. But when you churn them on eBay back into Target cards there is. Something to keep in mind.

Not sure about that. The last time I tried (back in December), the limit was 8. If someone has confirmation that it's more than this, that would be great information.

Also, Gift Card Mall now sells 50/100/150 denominations through eBay, no longer 25/50/100, so 150 would be the ideal target to shoot for, provided they're in stock.

As PP pointed out, eBay gift cards are only sold electronically, not physically shipped, so there is no shipping cost. Conversely, Target gift cards bought through Gift Card Mall on eBay cost $2.99 for the first card and $.99 for each additional card of the same denomination. There are sometimes other ways to buy Target gift cards through eBay, but Gift Card Mall is the most reliable seller with cards in stock most often.

You are correct the limit was 8, not 9. I was referencing this article that I recently read: http://www.doctorofcredit.com/ebay-now-allows-unlimited-number-of-gift-card-for-purchases/ regarding ebay now accepting more. Haven't tried it myself yet, however.

I forgot about the $150 increments now. That would definitely be your best bet if you can get one of those.

Just now trying out the GC churning method. I started out buying Target GC on raise for the last Target 10% promotion and saved about $7 then went through Ebates two separate times to purchase two $200 EBay GC at 10% off through Target saving an additional $8 plus the $20 savings for the promotion. I can not remember but I may have also saved 5% buy using mt red card. Just today I was able to use those EBay GC to purchase 2 of the $200 EBay GC for $195 since I have two EBay accounts. I still have time to wait for the 3x,4x,or5x EBay bucks promotion to purchase Target GC which I can then use to Purchase Disney GC with the Red card method for additional 5%. So if you can follow this you can see that is a substantial savings!!! I can even keep churning but my trip is in May. Got to say I am late in the game and sure wished I caught on to this about 4 to 6 months ago. Wow this is incredible!! I am totally addicted lol!!! Can not thank each and everyone of you enough for your wisdom!!! There is a season churn churn lol!!

$200 in cash or Target GCs. I use that to buy an eBay GC on Target .com for 5% off. I never tie up more than that.

For one thing, it's rare to be able to purchase more than one of the Target GC deals on ebay at any time. Of course, if you have multiple eBay identities, that number would be multiplied. But I like to keep things simple and easy to follow. And I don't count on being able to get the 4X eBay Bucks offer, so I don't purchase the full-price Target GCs that also tack on a shipping fee.

Once you have that Target GC, then you can purchase another eBay GC to use when the Target GCs go on sale again. Doing this churn over and over again until I need to purchase my Disney GCs.

I have the advantage of time on my side. I have enough Disney GCs to pay for my DVC dues for this year. I just need to add to my stash for my 2017 dues and to pay for any food or experiences that I want to reserve for my 2016 trip.

I guess I missed the part about Target GC going on sale at eBay, how often does that happen?

AND, I had never used SB for cashback but did so Monday night when purchasing a gift card through Raise (usually use TCB). It does not even show in my SB pending purchases. Am I just out-of-luck or will it show up at some point?

I didn't know you could get SB on Raise, what is TCB? TIA

I had placed an order yesterday for 2 $50 Disney gift cards from Target. I received an e-mail today indicating that shipping would be delayed and had to confirm I was ok with the delayed shipping or I could cancel. I approved the new shipping date which will not be until between Feb 2nd - 18th. We leave for WDW on Feb 10th but everything for that trip is paid for with other gift cards these will be used for Oct trip so whenever they arrive is fine. Just thought this might give us a hint on when Disney Gift Cards might be back in stock.

Ugh. That will be a little close for comfort, but shouldn't be a huge deal for us. Fingers crossed those gift cards come in stock closer to the 2nd than the 18th.

Bleh! I was ready to get another $100 Disney gift card and of course, now they are "in stores only". Oh well...The $95 I have in Target gift cards are a combination of $20 that were free-with-purchase and a $75 card from Raise that cost me $70.65. Even if I have to go to the store and get the $100 Disney card, I still "saved" almost 30%.

I'm assuming that they will come back in stock soon. I'm not in a big hurry...our trip isn't until October.

TCB = topcashback.com

They pay 1% or 2% cb for Raise and that is normally who I go through. Their site says they only pay 1% for Target but I normally get 2% credited.

Thanks for that info. Didnt know about it needing to be the same denomination for the .99 shipping. I went ahead and put another $50 in the pot to start this churning method. So I have $200 to start it with, more than what I originally wanted to start with but I know I can use them for other things if the game were to change at some point.

Yep, after I bought $190 worth at 5% off yesterday. Go figure. But for anyone who needs to know, enter the code Grabdeals at checkout.

Also, I have the $190 worth of Target Gift cards loaded on the app on my phone, so would anyone recommend that I go ahead and purchase the $200 Ebay gift card right away and just sit on that gift card, or just sit on the Target gift cards for a bit.
