The benefit really kicks in when you are buying large quantities because Gift Card Mall charges $2.99 shipping on first card and .99 on each additional. Today, there was a 3x promo from eBay. I was unable to buy any due to Target's messed up system but if it had worked out, I was planning to buy $750 Target GC's from GCM. This was 5 $150 cards so basically $7 shipping but $45 back in ebucks. Plus, topcashback pays cashback on eBay purchases.

Gotcha!! Would not do me any good for just one or two cards then. But going to use this technique for my next trip.

I have one other question. What would be the benefit of buying a Ebay GC from Target then buying a Target GC from EBay when they have 3X or 4X ? If you have to pay $3 to ship then you just about break even.

Go to eBay through Ebates (for 1% back or $2) and use the $200 eBay gift card to pay for $200 Target gift card and pay $3.98 for shipping. In the process you'll get 4X eBay bucks or $16 (8%). So now your net cost for the Target card is approximately $160 or ~20%. If you stop the churning there you're getting ~27% off after going through Ebates for Disney gift card. Or you can churn again when you get another 3X, 4X or 5X promo for eBay OR when gift card mall has a discount OR when Target offers an eBay gift card discount.

I'm fairly sure you can't "stack" rebate programs, however. They rebate you part of their kickback for referring a sale to the store you're visiting. Since the store only sends one commission, you only get cash back through one site.

Great!!! This one I am going to write down and follow. I may do this a sit on the EBay GC until the 4X comes around again. We do not go in May so do you think the 4X will come around again by then?

I think a 4x or 5x eBay bucks promo will be out by then. Make sure that you are signed up for the eBay bucks program and for special offers on the eBay site. My original eBay account wasn't signed up for special offers and after trying repeatedly, I gave up and made a new account. The new account seems to get the offers frequently.

Great!! I must be signed up because I have been getting the promotions in my email. I just got an offer of $10 cash back from ebates for signing up with them. I also got an offer code from cardpool for additional 5% up to $10 for the next 24 hours. Was able to snag two $100 target GC with 10% off the other day so.....any suggestions on how I can get the most benefit? You guys seem to have this down to an art lol!!!

I haven't bought gift cards through ebay before either. I looked at the site and have a question. It says you earn ebay bucks if you pay with paypal. So, how would you earn the bucks if you are using an ebay gift card go pay?

You have to have paypal to use ebay gift cards. That is where all the info about your ebay gift card use is stored, too (which is nice, because you can double check which cards have a balance remaining in paypal without having to punch in codes).

I am not stacking. I use topcashback when I purchase gift cards from eBay (and raise).

To make going through eBates easier - one of you awesome DISers told me about the eBates extension for Chrome. If you are using Chrome as your browser then definitely add the eBates extension because it alerts you when you could be earning eBates on a site and all you have to do is click the little eBates button in your browser toolbar to activate it. (It flashes red when you have not activated it, green when it is active.)

Maybe there are eBates extensions for the other browsers too?

Does Target ever put eBay gift cards on sale? I didn't have a chance to re-purchase yesterday after my first order was cancelled, so I'm wondering if it's best to go ahead and purchase eBay cards now so I'm ready for the next extra Bucks promo or to just hang onto the Target GC.
