Hmmm...has anyone tried to purchase an Ebay gc from Target and pay using a giftcard? I am planning on trying it whenever my Cardpool Target gc comes thru (hopefully today). I have a feeling it won't work but if it did that would be a pretty sweet way to save even more at Bonnet Creek (I book mine on Ebay). I will also post back about whether or not Cardpool qualifies for 5x from Ink.

Is ebates not doing cash back on gift card purchases from eBay right now? I didn't get it for my last purchase and am not seeing it as a category.

I was able to get cash back on my purchase in August very quickly but I didn't automatically get it for my most recent purchase (due to be delivered tomorrow). When I filled out the online form, I didn't see gift cards as a category either, so I chose "None of the Above." I just received an email that said:

"While we are happy to provide cash back on select Ebay categories, Ebates is not able to offer Cash Back on all items. In this case, since no category was chosen when you filled out the form, it appears that you bought merchandise that was not eligible for Cash Back at the time of your purchase.

The gift cards from Gift Card Mall are in the Gift Cards & Coupons category, so it looks like they aren't eligible at this time. I hope that changes. I received the $5 in bonus cash from ebates offer so I was hoping to use it on my next order.

For those that use Ebates, just got an email that right now you get $5 in bonus cash when you spend $25 at any store through Ebates. Here's the fine print:

*Cash Bonus earned on qualifying purchases totalling a minimum of $25 and must be eligible to receive Cash Back. Orders must be made between 12:00 AM PT on October 14, 2015 and 11:59 PM PT on October 31, 2015. Please allow up to 2 weeks for your Cash Bonus to be added to your account. Yes. A lot of us have done this successfully. I use a target gift card purchased at Kroger to buy an eBay gift card from target which I use to buy target gift cards.

Oh, I didn't think of that, sorry You might see if it's listed in your account even without the email. On mine it shows up under my pending cash back tab on the cashback activity page. It's at the very bottom under a header titled bonuses. Hope it's there for you, too!!!

I don't have it there either. Thanks though for sharing! Maybe others do have it.

Yes. A lot of us have done this successfully. I use a target gift card purchased at Kroger to buy an eBay gift card from target which I use to buy target gift cards.

Mind blown . I tried the Kroger route but our "version" (Fred Meyer) codes as a warehouse store and only gives 1% back. I also am highly lazy so I stick to gift card laundering I can do in my bathrobe . Thanks for the help. I love you people!

My kroger ad had a small blurb that they were offering 4x fuel points on 10/15-10/28 for restaurant and movie theater gift cards. Not as nice as being able to get Target cards, but still wanted to give a heads up

Does Target ever sell eBay GCs online, or just in stores? I've been earning Target GCs from mPoints and swagbucks and was going to use them to buy Disney GCs online (with the 5% RedCard discount), but if I can churn an extra time through eBay I'll give that a try.

eBay has $100 eBay gift cards for $95 -- I am tempted to use my eBay gift cards from Target to purchase a few but I seem to recall someone here saying that they encountered trouble with their eBay account after they did that.

You can also get ebates for buying from Target if you add another item* (not everything qualifies, but I know clothing does, so my DD gets a new shirt with every order. The ebates aren't much more than the shirt, but its still a free shirt...). I have 47 pending in ebates (not all my orders on were for target cards). And, you can get swagbucks for orders on ebay (the do take about 75 days to pay out). I have 3200 in pending SBs from August and Sept ebay orders....Oh, and ebay bucks pay out the next quarter. So, I have 307 ebay bucks from those same Aug and Sept purchases, which paid out around Oct 3. Next payout for ebay bucks will be January. I'm holding several hundred in ebay cards and my bucks waiting for the next 3x or more promotion....I also bought my initial target cards from Kroger on 4x fuel points....

i usually buy a $3 pair of underwear at target for the ebates points.

I added a small $2 frame to my most recent gift card order from Target and I did not get credit from ebates. And, now they discontinued the cash back for eBay gift card purchases too. Oh well. Still churning though and taking advantage of 5% off and the eBay bucks!
