I'm not sure if this will work for everyone with an e-bay account, but I went to 'My E-Bay' and there was a code for 15% off a purchase. I went to gift card mall and put 7 x $100 Target gift cards in my basket. It gave me a discount of $100.00 on the purchase (the maximum discount allowed) with the code . The purchase qualified for e-bay bucks (I've never had those before so this is a new experience for me).

I also went through ebates and hope to get an additional 5% back (though my earlier purchase of the 2 x $100 Target cards for $94.00 hasn't shown up in my account as yet).

I did sign up for ebay "coupons" (in 'my account') last week; not sure if this triggered the code or not. I never received an e-mail about the code and it expires September 23rd. When combined with ebates 5% (on Target gift card purchase through ebay) and 5% off with my Red Card (on Disney gift cards from Target), plus ebates again (for purchasing the Disney gift cards through Target) it is a pretty sweet deal!

Hopefully some of my fellow disers will get the same code.

Me too! I think I am going to hold on to mine and keep a close watch on giftcardmall. When (if) they run this again I will be able to jump on it bc I already have my ebay GCs.

I had a code in my eBay messages as well. I didn't order as many GCs as you did but I did take advantage of the discount to buy more Target GCs. My code had an expiration date of 9/23 but, like yours, was good for 15% off of a minimum $100 purchase. If I had more Target GCs right now, I would have bought additional ebay GCs on Target .com but I just used the ebay GCs that I had to get as many Target GCs as I could without having to pay anything OOP.

There is an area in your 'my account' area of e-bay where you can check a box to receive promotions and e-mails:

• click 'seller preferences'
• click 'promotions and surveys'
• check box for 'general e-mail promotions'

I ticked that box last week; however I did not receive an e-mail that there was a 15% coupon in my account. I noticed it when I put my mouse over 'my e-bay' in the top right hand area of the screen.

This started with my quest to earn e-bay bucks (FTR I never qualifed for the 5X bucks purchase, but somehow from my 2 purchases of Target gift cards I have earned over $21.00 in bucks).

Also if you want to qualify for e-bay bucks you have to sign up. It's very straightforward and worthwhile!

Does CVS even sell Target gift cards???
I have never seen Target gift cards at my CVS.

Well, I didn't go in and see it, but when I asked if I could buy the Target gift card with a CVS card, (which they didn't seem to know), they didn't say, "oh, we don't sell those". But, the CVS discounts were pretty good even if that's all you got and bought Disney gift cards there, if you didn't wanna go thru all the cycling thru several places. But sounds like it prolly won't work any way, so there goes that, lol.

Another question now. Can you use a KMart gc to buy a Disney gc? eBay has KMart gc's on sale at 15% off, at least right now.

Oh, forgot to quote, but where on eBay do I sign up for the eBay bucks? I was looking around on there and didn't see any mention of them.

I'm on an iPad so can't hover over the "My eBay", so can't wait to check tomorrow at work on a regular computer. Probably won't see it, and not exactly sure what I'm looking for, lol, but gonna check just case in there is that 15% off purchase over $100 that some of you found! That would be awesome! I did check for any messages from eBay but nothing like that.

Some people have been lucky at this (me included), and some people have not.

I'm not a big user of Ebay, but can someone tell me if they really feel as though the Target to Ebay to Target to Disney algorithm is really working well for them? I haven't paid a huge amount of attention to the posts on here for it, but it seems like I see a lot of people saying either their cards haven't been activated or they've had issues receiving them, etc.

As a side note, you can buy Ebay gift cards with Target gift cards, right? Or do I have that wrong?

during the last good deal i was getting 30% of disney gift cards. pretty much raise to target, target to ebay, ebay to target, target to disney gift card. + getting ebates on target and ebay. + ebay bucks.

just have to watch out for good deals.

Thanks! I might start keeping a better eye on it. I've been redeeming my Target gift cards solely from using rewards apps and websites, so it seems like this might be an even better way to get more bang for my buck.

Overall, I'm averaging like 20% savings on Disney gift cards. I've got about 4,300 and paid about 3,500. I've done a variety of deals from simply purchasing from raise to Disney gift card, the ebay deal, etc... I also had some Target cards where I started with 0% savings because they were refunds on something. Since I started this about 6 months ago, I've wised up to wait for the better deals (I've got until March) and that has helped up my overall savings %. On some deals I've gotten 30% or more savings. I definitely think it is worth the time. I've never received a deactivated Disney card (though I know others have) and yes, sometimes there is some stress frustration, but in the end I've saved or "made" 800.00. That's worth the stress for me.

I agree that it is worth the hassle! I'm sure if I told any friends or family I was doing this, they'd think I was nuts. But I've made $250 in Disney gift cards since starting mid-July and will likely cash out swagbucks for another $50 target gift card today. The $250 is SOLELY from rewards apps, I haven't spent a dime out of pocket! To me it's really like a game, trying to get the best deal. That's probably why I like couponing so much too

Nevermind--finally found it! You have to hover over My Ebay and it's at the very bottom of the dropdown list that appears........

I'm new to ebay bucks. I signed up and earned 4 EB on my last purchase. So I have 30 days to use them, once I get the certificate, right? So how do I "log on" on otherwise go to my ebay bucks account page? I'm pretty good at navigating ebay but it's like ebay bucks info is hiding is some dark corner somewhere... can't find it!
