I just have a simple sheet that tallies everything I've put in as debits, plus my running balance of Ebay bucks and other perks as credits, and I can see how much I've made.

It was more complicated at one point, but with perks coming in from all angles, it's hard to track the exact value from an individual transaction... if you try to, you'll be left w bits and pieces all over that get used on the next transaction. So what I do is more of a 4-walls calculation. That is, I track when I spend money to put money into my pool of Giftcard Goodness, and then I track when I cash out, by buying something I actually need from Target or Ebay (like Disney Gift Cards or Christmas Presents).

Thanks for the response. I think I'll have to just create something more simplified like you are saying. I kept trying to track the Target gift cards purchased, then track Disney gift cards purchased with each card, however, it's just way too complicated that way. Plus, I just started using swagbucks, so I hopefully I'll have even more Target cards to track soon. Guess I'll just go with a section recording the Target cards and what I've spent/saved on those. Then separately I can track the Disney cards I purchase so total a value. That will still show me the total value in Disney cards versus the actual amount I spent out of pocket. Keeping it simple sounds like the way to go with this. LOL.

I went super simple one column for the total of each type of gift card I currently hold (eg ebay, target, disney, etc) and a column for out of pocket cost. Then I just do a little math with some quick excel formulas to see how much I have saved to date.

The tricky part is when you have a little left over on a giftcard that is less than $25. Then I just you math.floor and divide each category by 25 so see how many giftcards I can actually get with that and use that number going forward. So for example math.floor(176/25) = 7. So now use that cell * 25 to get your total dollar value. It won't predict future savings (eg next time you cycle from ebay to target cards) but it shows your current savings.

FYI - You can use My Best Buy Reward Certificates towards the purchase of Disney gift cards if your Best Buy sells them in store.

If it's not one thing it's another! I just converted target gift cards to ebay gift cards to take advantage of the 4x ebay bucks (I didn't get the 15% code -- if anyone has one they are not going to use, please feel free to send it me!). So the Target order went through fine, but now gift card mall is totally sold out of target gift cards :/

Anyone have a guess as to when they will be back in stock?

Another AmEx offer: Samsclub .com spend $20, get $20 back. I ordered a pack of 3 $10 Starbucks GCs for $31.88 (it would have been $28.98 if I were a member). After the $20 off, I will have spend less than $4 apiece for each $10 GC. Samsclub also have Disney GCs (3-pack of $50) for $142.98 for members, which would make your OOP cost ~$123 (an 18% savings if you're a member).

Ugh! I just did that same thing! I got my target gift cards today in the mail and thought I would convert them one more time while 4x was going on. Now I'm sitting on 800.00 of ebay gift cards. Hopefully, they will come back soon. They went completely out of stock recently and were back in a few days. Not sure if they will be back by tomorrow though.

Yes. My store had $25, $50 and then cards that you could add anywhere from $25-$1500. They have an endcap with a variety of GCs, similar to what you would find in Target or at a grocery store.

QQ about raise.....I keep having to reenter my credit card when I place orders and I feel like that is slowing me down and I keep losing the higher percentage cards as I put in my cc number. Is it just me they are making to do this because of the "chip" or is everyone else having to do this as well?

I had to do that on my last order as well. I think it said it was a temporary issue while they update their systems for the new chip cards.

My Costco Amex has the worst offers. My Amex Blue Preferred often has decent ones.

Once again; I watch this thread for days and days and the one day I miss, a new offer was posted and gone by the time I see it. I'm sitting on several thousand dollars of cards waiting to run them through. I was also trying to help a friend get a small amount for more than they 11% currently running (Raise + Target 5%).

I had a code in my eBay messages as well. I didn't order as many GCs as you did but I did take advantage of the discount to buy more Target GCs. My code had an expiration date of 9/23 but, like yours, was good for 15% off of a minimum $100 purchase. If I had more Target GCs right now, I would have bought additional ebay GCs on Target .com but I just used the ebay GCs that I had to get as many Target GCs as I could without having to pay anything OOP.
