No buddy sorry for the confusion, the $58 cb is from various online shopping all of which were purchases made in MAY.

Do you remember awhile back I was whining about my hubby buying Teacher GC's when I already did? Well we are proud owners of 4,000 +fuel points Typically we only need 2,000 per month.

I ordered a $25 Disney e-gift card from Target this morning at 11:12am using my Virtual Visa from SB. I have a .net e-mail address so I was a little nervous, but at 11:52am, I received the gift card in my inbox.

I had been adding the VV's to my PayPal account and ordering through the ShopDisney website. When I tried to add my VV to my PayPal account this morning, it said my card was invalid and it would not allow me to link it. I don't know why this would be the case, but I do already have (2) other Pre-Paid Visa cards linked (maybe there is a limit?). I recently made a payment using a pre-paid Visa Gift card to a company that I am now fairly certain is not legit. It was for an item my daughter wanted and she said it was a US company but after I placed the order, sure enough, it's based somewhere in Asia. I think the company was out to scam me because within 24 hours after I placed the order through them, I received an alert from PayPal that they believed that there was an unauthorized attempt to access my account. Well, surprise surprise...the item I ordered on June 23 (which was supposed to ship within 5 business days) has not shipped yet. I was supposed to receive an e-mail confirmation when it shipped and so far, I have received nothing. I sent them an e-mail requesting a status update and they have been silent. I will give them one more week before I open a dispute with PayPal.

I have not had luck with this and have always gotten this message, even with never having added prepaid cards to my PayPal. Also no fraud/scam issues either, sorry you are dealing with that!

DP- Ordered a $500 Disney e card this morning from Target. It arrived in a few minutes. I have an aol.com. Went through RMN and got the "you've activated at Target" email. Have done this MANY times in the past and so far have received all the CB I was due from RMN.

When doing RMN Target purchases, are people doing them through the app on their phones or on the computer? Wondering if that makes a difference. Did one order once for physical items and it never did register that I shopped.

10% is the minimum I aim for these days. Used to be 15% but the game got harder this year I'd say you're doing great, especially for being new!!

I hold out for 14%. Once dd gets a car my fuel points are worth more so then it will probably be 16-18%.

I only get 11% plus my credit card points on one car, and 5% on the other. Best we get back at grocery stores is 2%. I like when we have 5% categories at grocery stores

I have not bought gift cards since a few years ago when you could use the 20% off coupons at Target, but we are going next summer and I need to start again. I started on the last page of this thread and worked backwards for a while. I don't do any of the apps like Ibotta or stuff, because when I've tried in the past it was so little money for the time spent. I used to use ebates when shopping online, but I let that slide, too. I just want a reasonable plan and am hoping you can help! Here are my questions:

I read that some were getting the 5% off from Target combined with credit card rewards. How are you doing that? Are you ordering online and then using a different cc other than the REDcard? If you have the REDcard on your account, will it automatically give you the discount, even if you aren't using it to pay?

I don't do a ton of online shopping, but should I resume ebates or should I switch to RTM? It seemed like there were mixed results?

Anything else that is fairly easy?

I want to know this too. I have a dummy checking account linked to my Red Debit Card. Will I still get the 5% cash back if I pay with a different debit card that is not linked to the checking account?

I believe you USED to be able to still get the discount when using other payment methods but that it has not worked that way for a couple of years now.

From what I understand....

Buy Target GC's at RMN for 5% off.
Use those Target GC's to buy Disney GC's on Target website.
Use Disney GC's to buy Disney park tickets (in my case).

If I am using Target GC's though, I wouldn't be using my checking account to pay for them anyway. #BackToResearching

Unfortunately you can't use Target gift cards to buy other GCs anymore either.
But you can go through RMN and get the 5% back there and buy the Disney gift cards with your RED card discount.
