If you're unsure that's okay, I'm simply asking if anyone has posted this scenario before and what their out come was. Otherwise, I'll try this myself and report back. That way we have a definitive answer. I'll also include photos for verification if that helps out this community.
You won’t get the 500sb because thr total purchase needs to be 50 and the rewards certificate is technically a coupon. So you’d need to spend 60 total to get the 500sb.

Yes, I understand that as confirmed by @Moramoon so I'm asking about this now:

If I bought a BB non fixed GC with my $10 BB Rewards Certificate then can I

$10 Best Buy non fixed
$25 SB Best Buy egift card
$15 BB GC

$50 Disney GC and using SB QR code, will I get 500 points? Has anyone done this?

I'm not sure about buying a best buy card with a rewards certificate, but if you were able to then did a separate transaction using the $10 BB GC just converted, the $25 BB GC from SB, and the $15 BB GC as payments that would equal the $50 you need for the 500 SB bonus.

The BJs website still isn't working for me to purchase gift cards so I went with Sams Club and that seems to be a bigger win than I thought. I got $600 in gift cards from Sams for $571, but then I got 3% back from ebates equaling another $17 off. So I almost saved $50 off that $600. Not too shabby. Now I just hope they get here in time!

Just an FYI I have not had luck with my Ebates sticking for Sam's gift card purchases. It states it doesn't qualify for cash back. But fingers crossed yours stays!

I haven't had a rewards cert in awhile so I don't remember the language, but in general their coupons exclude BB gift cards ( which is what a rewards cert is). Can't hurt to try, it just seems unlikely.

It has been reported here multiple times that you can not buy a BB GC with a rewards cert. I haven't personally tried it.

At Best Buy now. No dice. Registers won’t allow gc with gc.

Edited: I’m in Richmond, VA

@havaneselover
Just curious, all gift cards or did you only try Disney? And did the cashier have any information?

I'm sitting on $50 in BB gift cards. Not a big deal. It will get spent. So glad I didn't buy more at Kroger last night.

Thanks for the update!

and there it is! Thanks @Marionnette I should have just gone onto the website to see. That's probably why I bought the Starbucks gift card last time, I just couldn't remember. :thumbsup2

Your BB sells Amazon? Mine doesn't and said it's prob since they see them as a competitor. I'd buy Amazon at bb with sb instead of 4x fuel points if they had them.
Yes I thought I saw it. I’ll make sure when I go next week. They sell amazon products so I don’t know why they wouldn’t sell the gift cards.

Whew! Just went to BB (Charlotte NC) was able to use my BB GC for Disney. They were out of $50 Disney GCs so I was limited to the variable load ones. I did do one transaction with 2-$25gc. Both ways went thru fine. Just as in the past.

Just tried to redeem my $300 BB GC at my usual store in DE. I was trying to purchase $25 GCs and it was no dice. The register would not allow it.

My husband went to our local store again today on his lunch break. They had Disney back in stock. He bought $350 worth (that’s all they had), in 7 $50 transactions. He’s never done the SB code but I did explain it so hopefully it will go through. If not, I’m just thankful we got rid of the rest of our BB gift cards! Hoping whatever is going on with buying gift cards with gift cards doesn’t hit PA!

All I want to know is what are “some third party gift cards?” I’ve been buying Disney gift cards for long enough to know the rules can change at any time and I accept those risks. I just like knowing what the current rules are!

It was a loadable Disney (I didn't try any others). She said the registers weren't taking BB gift card payments for 3rd party cards. Maybe you'll have success with a gas card or something. I now have $50 that I need to get rid of too.
