I can too can confirm no dice at BB in Utica MI. The cashier knew me and we tried two different ways;
BB GC w/ SB
BB GC w/o SB

She called the manager who knew me as well and told me anything else should be good just not Disney nor any cards with "PO" on them.
I did purchase a $15 Starbucks GC using $10 BB Certificate and put $5 on my CC.

I'm currently holding $630 in BB GC's which doesn't phase me. We are looking to purchase 3 items from them; refrigerator, stove and a camera. I'll continue to buy BB GC's in hopes to pay for those items while using SB QR codes.

$50 BB Egift from SB
$250 BB CG from Kroger
$300 BB Egift from Cashstar
$30 BB Promotion Codes from Cashstar

I currently have 6745 points on SB and unsure if I should redeem those for cash via paypal? Is this possible? At least that way I can take that money to buy Disney GC's hopefully in December from Target.

Any thought's or advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It was a loadable Disney (I didn't try any others). She said the registers weren't taking BB gift card payments for 3rd party cards. Maybe you'll have success with a gas card or something. I now have $50 that I need to get rid of too.

$50 isn't bad. I have $300 to spend down. My husband is not tech-savvy and we're not really in need of any new appliances. I may invest it in a new phone. My husband has been complaining for months that his has been draining the battery way too quickly. Or I can just hang onto to it and spend it down on wedding shower gifts. We have a lot of those this year.

On the back of the card, an assistant manager saw it there. I didn't notice.

My register was all a buzz! Five people were there trying to figure this out. Even the manager tried to ring it up and said it must have recently changed. You would think he would have known. I also noticed while buying Disney GC's that every time I purchased them the amounts were never replenished. I took the last four $50 Disney GC's and two $25. Those $25 were plentiful on the rack.

I'm planning to go back and try again - looking for the "PO" next time. You can do 2 x $25 paypal cards for 5,000 of your Swagbucks. The funds just get dumped into your paypal account.

You can go in and add another email to your current paypal acount

Log in and click on the little spoke/gear symbol on the right side of the page. This is your settings area in Paypal. Then go down to where it says email and click on the plus sign beside of it. a new window will come up that says add email address.

Thanks for all the info everyone! Have any of you guys tried it with purchasing other stuff? Like can you have a one dollar candy bar or something and Disney GCs and use a BB GC?

I went back again today here in Round Rock, Texas and was successful. I wonder if this is some kind of phased roll out.

I'm waiting on a $25 from Swagbucks and then I was going to head over to Cedar Park, where I typically flip. Does RR have $50s or just $25 and variable like CP?

That's weird! I have an empty Disney GC holder from BB, I see nothing about "PO" so I honestly don't know what she's talking about. The manager didn't even respond or correct her so not sure what's going on with that.

Long time lurker, first time poster. I created a login just to give everyone another data point regarding Best Buy gift card purchase.

I just tried to purchase 2 $25 Disney gift cards at the Seattle location. No luck here either. Get a register error that said “No POSA.” The woman at the register didn’t know what it meant, but another woman at an adjacent register said they just had a meeting about it. No more gift card to gift card purchases due to laundering. I mentioned that some people were having luck with different gift cards but she just said as far as they were told, it was all gift cards. I didn’t want to try other ones since I didn’t want to pay for them OOP (not sure if they can be canceled once the gift card is scanned).

For reference, I did a bunch of purchases last month, no problems. Time for a different strategy.

Well, it still worked at my Best Buy in SC this afternoon, so I used my last $1,000 in BB gift cards to purchase Disney gift cards. I will NOT be buying any more BB gift cards! Just glad I got lucky today!

My husband just came home with the cards he got today. I don’t see anything that says PO anywhere?? The two gas cards I bought yesterday both had letter codes on them but I see nothing on the Disney cards (either the card itself or the package)
