Really?! I bought adult park tickets from Undercover Tourist and I was told they don't expire. That they only expire 14 days after first use. If what you're saying is true I'm gonna be
When did you buy them? The expiration is a recent change and only affects new tickets.

I bought 3 Adult - 5 day park tickets from Under Cover Tourist on Sunday, February 28, 2016 AND 6 Adult - 5 day park tickets from Orlando Attractions about a week later and both sites stated these do not expire. I'm looking into a few things on the DIS but when I'm done I'm going to contact them.

Disney is now setting expiration dates on all tickets whether purchased directly from them or through a reseller. However, Expirations on multi day tickets just started in Feb 2017 so if you bought them last year you are fine using them any time in the future for the 5 days you already purchased. The only potential issue you could have is if you decided to try to upgrade the tickets you bought. Since only tickets purchased prior to Feb 11th 2017 (or from "old ticket stock" from a reseller shortly there after) have no expiration date Disney now knows the max value one could have paid for them and will only give the full value of that ticket as of Feb 11th 2017. So if you held onto those tickets for a few years and then wanted to add days/park hopper/upgrade to an AP you will only get the value of Feb 11th 2017 and the upgrade cost would decrease or possibly eliminate any savings you got when you originally bought the tickets (depending on how quickly prices rise)

Thank you so much for this! I'm glad I purchased them when I did and to be grandfathered in is pure sweetness. We're not park hoppers nor AP/DVC so we're good to go.

FYI - The 3 Adult - 5 day park tickets from Under Cover Tourist were $321.95 AND I went through Ebates who had this promotion:

I purchased each ticket separately so each ticket cost $319.45. :D

Meijer has an mperk out for a $5 off your next purchase for every $50 you spend in gift cards. Can be redeemed 10 times. Achievable though 4/8. This is actually a better deal for my family than kroger since we only have 1 car and it only has a 16 gallon tank.
Can you use the Mparks to buy gift cards? It's a little out of our way but for some bonus cash it will be worth it to stop in!

You can't unfortunately. I tried it around Christmas when they were doubt this promo and the system wouldn't let me. We do most of our grocery shopping at meijer so this really works for us.

AAAAAAAGH!!! When the ticket price increase went into affect, I bought over $2000 in tickets from UT and I FORGOT TO GO THROUGH EBATES!!! What a goof! :headache:

Since the GC churning opportunities have mostly dried up, and I haven't been making as many online purchases in general, I have been out of the habit of using Ebates. So mad at myself!!!

Ouch! Even at 1% - $20 bucks is not chump change! If you have a Discover Card you should look under Rewards/Gift Cards to see if they offer Best Buy which they do from time to time. You can then buy Disney GC in-store only. There are more ways to save and this is an amazing thread to help keep you informed.

EDIT: Ebates/Shopathome/Discover also offer Travel discount. Amazon recently had GC on sale too.

Target policy question - sorry if this was discussed earlier. This thread is so voluminous. Went to Target yesterday and tried to buy 7 $50 disney gc (they didn't have $100 gc). When I tried to check out they got the store manager to ring up my order. I was paying 100% with my target red card. He said there was a limit to what I could purchase. He said I could only purchase 5 gc. When I asked if new policy, what conditions, etc. He had no further info.

Meanwhile I purchase 10, $100 gc online yesterday with target red card with no problem.

Was there a store policy change? red card policy change? changes etc?

Thanks. The last several trips we have paid for the entire trip with gcs from Target. We have another trip coming up in May and I need a lot more cards but am now worried I will be stopped by Target.

Has anyone used a prepaid Amex at Sam's club? I can get an additional 10% if I take a payout on an amex gift card. I'd like to use it to purchase disney gcs at Sam's Club.

Store policy. Some managers limit the amount of gift cards you can purchase when paying with a credit card. They're worried about credit card fraud. It's up to the individual store manager to enforce, not a corporate policy.

Thanks. This seemed really odd. It's our small neighborhood, City Target, and I've never liked the manager. Horrible attitude.

He said they received an email from corporate in January and just again (since some stores were still letting it happen) recently stating they were limiting. New Policy. He said the only way to know was if my red card purchase went through???

Never liked him. Makes no sense.

Discover gift card has redemptions for Landry gift cards. $45 for $50. Has anyone had luck purchasing 3rd party gift cards with a Meijer gift card?

Why not just buy them from BJ's online? They have the $100 gift cards for $94.99 with free shipping and a no member surcharge.

Thank you for the awesome tip!! Allows for a better discount than Red Card and allows me to use my reward cdit card for an extra 1%.
