Disney Gift Card Deals

I can still go into Target with my Red card and buy Disney gift cards for 5% off right?
It's not just online?

I've read that you can schedule that $10 initial deposit to be withdrawn at a future date. Then you can load a gift card and cancel the $10 charge.
This definitely works. You don't need to charge anything to a credit card.

And just to re-clarify- you can't get the 5% off with Redcard if you use the Target Giftcard in the store can you?

For in store purchases, the RedCard 5% discount is only applied to what's charged on the RedCard. This is very different from what it's doing online.

Can I put the RO deposit on the dsa? Or do I have to put it on a credit card?

For those that have been using raise do you find that there are better deals on the weekdays as opposed to the weekends?

I've had no problems with the Target and Starbucks cards I've purchased from Raise so when I saw a couple of Best Western gift cards totaling a $1,000 at 8% off in December I snapped them up paying with my Discover for an additional 5% off. We're at Disneyland right now and when we checked into the Best Western this morning the cards showed that they were closed even though they showed that they could see that they had money on them. The front desk called Corporate and they are checking on it but said it could be up to 7 days until they get back to me. We check out on Saturday so I may have to pay with my credit card and then try to get it switched over to the gift cards if it gets resolved. I'm still within the 60 day guarantee period from Raise but it was definitely a poor start to the trip. Once we entered the park we were able to put it behind us and are having a great time. We're not going to let it spoil the trip.
Just curious. Were you able to get this resolved?

I have an alert set up. I get more alerts during during the week than weekend.... perhaps we can all agree not to buy anything below 8% and wait for it to go up?????:goodvibes

I have some sad news....Target.com isn't taking off the extra 5% anymore :( However, the gift cards are back in stock.

Just order some a minute ago, and it definitely is still taking the 5% off

This happens to me all the time. Go through and pay with your redcard, all the way till the final purchase page. You'll see the 5% come off. Click on the "pay with gift card". The 5% should still stay on there.

Sadly I don't have enough GC to buy more disney ones, but i did apply 40+ to a $50 disney card is still gave me the $2.50 off.

Online gifts cards are back at Target! Definitely still taking them for buying Disney cards and getting the 5% off! Yeah!!!

Ok you guys are right...the website was being weird for me. I had to keep going back and forth from my cart to the payment page, deleting/adding my cart, etc., and I finally got it to work! Yay! :)

Indeed, the gift cards are back online - just ordered 21 of them (had ordered 22 of them two weeks back) using a $1000 gift card from Raise.com (paid $925). I can confirm that the 5% Target Red Card discount is still active, but sadly, could not use the pharmacy rewards coupon.
I just hope the gift cards get here before Disney raises park ticket prices... need to buy three annual passes. Hopefully, these will come in and I can apply them to our Disney Vacation Account before the price hike.

Yay! So glad they are back in stock! I have budgeted out $900 of DGC per month to pay off my trip. This month, I bought $836.55 TGC from Raise at 7% off, used $25 of TGC received from weekly ad promotions then used the RedCard to get my additional 5% off. Total purchased, $900. Total paid, $777.89. Total savings, $122.11 or $13.5%.:banana::banana:

Whoo hoo I just ordered 2! I was nervous my Raise purchases were going to go to waste!
