I've had no problems with the Target and Starbucks cards I've purchased from Raise so when I saw a couple of Best Western gift cards totaling a $1,000 at 8% off in December I snapped them up paying with my Discover for an additional 5% off. We're at
Disneyland right now and when we checked into the Best Western this morning the cards showed that they were closed even though they showed that they could see that they had money on them. The front desk called Corporate and they are checking on it but said it could be up to 7 days until they get back to me. We check out on Saturday so I may have to pay with my credit card and then try to get it switched over to the gift cards if it gets resolved. I'm still within the 60 day guarantee period from Raise but it was definitely a poor start to the trip. Once we entered the park we were able to put it behind us and are having a great time. We're not going to let it spoil the trip.
