Disney Gift Card Deals

ok I jumped on the cardcash deal to gt my trip in April started, I took them over to Target.com. and I'm having a horrible time getting the website to take the 4 cards, first 2 wouldn't take then I got the last one to take, then I went back and tried the other and I can get all but the last one to go, it's like the website doesnt even acknowledge the gc number I put it in and the spot shows green but then doesnt let me click on the apply button, anyone else having these issues?

Not sure if this is your issue or not. My target has a glitch where it sometimes double counts a gift card. E.g., a gift card for $50 will show up twice and they will think you've actually applied 2x$50 gift cards. So sometimes it'll think you are done paying because it'll double count the payment. I just delete the duplicate.

Also, one additional thing you can do is consolidate your GC online by buying another GC from target online. This can reduce the number of GC you have to enter in. However, there's only major denominations (e.g. $25, $50, $100, etc.)

I guess I will reiterate what I have said about CardCash. From the Better Business Bureau, " On 9/22/2015 this business's accreditation in the BBB was revoked by the BBB's Board of Directors due to its failure to adhere to the BBB requirement that Accredited Businesses meet and abide by the following standards:
  • 6A. Promptly respond to all complaints forwarded by BBB by:
    1. Resolving the complaint directly with the complainant and notifying BBB, or
    2. Providing BBB with a response that BBB determines:
      • is professional,
      • addresses all of the issues raised by the complainant,
      • includes appropriate evidence and documents supporting the business' position, and
      • explains why any relief sought by the complainant cannot or should not be granted.
  • 6B. Make a good faith effort to resolve disputes, which includes mediation if requested by BBB. Other dispute resolution options, including arbitration, may be recommended by BBB when other efforts to resolve a dispute have failed. BBB may consider a business' willingness to participate in recommended dispute resolution options in determining compliance with these standards.
  • 6C. Comply with any settlements, agreements or decisions reached as an outcome of a BBB dispute resolution process."

The company has 654 complaints with the BBB in the last 3 years and 205 in the last 1 year.

As I have said before, are you willing to spend the time and aggravation with cards that don't work to save a few dollars?

Did you check the balance on your cards yet with Target? I received a couple from cardcash last month that were zeroed out on arrival. https://www-secure.target.com/giftcard/check-balance

ETA: FYI I immediately applied for a refund through my cardcash account and they refunded me for the empty cards

They don't! I didn't realize that before I started buying. Found that out part way through. Oddly enough they didn't give me any guff about the refund BUT 1) it was only $30 and 2) all my orders after that were cancelled for "unknown reasons". I gambled with CardCash for a bit but am more comfortable with Raise.

Where does it say they don't back e-giftcards? I know there was another reseller that didn't back e-giftcards, but didn't see that warning for card cash. In any case I use raise and cardcash interchangeably based on biggest discount.

Edit: it is cardpool that doesn't back e gift cards. Are you sure you meant cardcash instead of cardpool?

You do realize the bbb is a sham right? They shake down businesses to defend negative reviews and get a higher rating. They are a private business with non-profit status. They do absolutely nothing for the consumer. The quicker we stop pretending the bbb ratings mean anything the better. Not to say there aren't issues with card cash, but bbb has no weight.

I have not had any problems with cardcash, cardpool or raise. I HAVE had problems with target's website, that are usually resolved within a day or 2. And when I combine the savings from those cards with the savings I receive from my RED card, it's not just a few dollars. It's a meal at a Disney restaurant.

ejcraft, if BruinEd's advice doesn't work for you, delete your cards from the target website, delete your cookies, history, etc. (so they don't get used inadvertently) and try again in a day or two. You may have entered your cards when they were doing some online maintenance.

ACK! You're right!! One night of staying up late for the Olympics and brain is already sluggish. I went back in my notes it WAS Cardpool that was no refund on eCards not CardCash (but it was CardCash who refunded then banned me).

You got it!
I was just calculating mine and thinking the same thing regarding 4x / 5x. On my account, I had 1400 become "free" today. So, I'm trying to decide if I should jump on a 4x if one opens or wait for a 5x. The longer you wait, the longer it takes for the money to "free up" again. So, there's definitely a trade-off. For me, I will probably jump on 4 or 5x bonuses but not 3x.
Whew! Thanks again for helping finally get it right, lol!

Ooh that must have been frustrating this week with the 5x offer so close to when your $1400 would be free! Yeah, that's what I was thinking - do I do anything but a 5x, to get the most? But, there's no way to know how much the next promo offer will be, or if we'll get it, or when it'll show up in relation to when our money is 'freed' up. Jeez, what a pain! But, with all that considered, I'll will do the 4x as well as the 5x offers, but not any 3x offers, that's just not worth it! And, yeah, if you hold off, and jump on a later promo waiting for the best one, it'll be even longer before you can buy again. Ugh, just shaking my head, lol!

If you have a business account, it doesn't mean that it's an ebay business, it just means it's a small business, so you would just be buying products for your business on ebay. They don't expect you to sell things, although that is an option. When you sign up for an account it asks for the name and address of your business, everything else is optional. Business id's are not required. To me churning is like a small business :) so a name of my business is easy. When you sign up for a new account it asks if it is individual or business, and you will need a different email address from your regular account. It was basically that easy.
Do you use your same paypal for both your regular and your business account? Well, it is like a small business sometimes, lol, sometimes it has seemed like another job, lol. That was more back when we could do the churning thru Target, seemed like more work, though the pay off was much more lucrative so that extra work was worth it!
Something to keep in mind, at least, so thanks for sharing that idea! We do use my account and DD26's account so that helps us for sure.

So, as I noted earlier, I didn't have any money freed up for churning, but I did end up taking some cash we had been saving each pay period and decided I might as well go ahead and churn it once and get some of our Disney gc's with them, and was glad to get something from this latest promo. (Now I gotta wait another couple weeks at least, though). I ordered $500 in Wgc's, in two orders of $300 and $200. That was on Wednesday, late afternoon. I received the $300 order on Saturday! I was shocked, I know they ship from Chicago suburbs buy that was crazy fast! We were going out then, so stopped at first Walgreens I've easily used before and she wanted ID if I was gonna use credit, shoulda just shown that, but I showed the gc and she said she had to call, she didn't think they could be used. I said I'd already done it several times and it worked fine. On the phone, they said no but she didn't really describe my card and I bet they thought I was using those instore credit only cards. She asked if I wanted to talk to them on the phone and I said no and left. Maybe I should have gone to the other register in photos in the first place, where the same guy had helped me before. Anyway, went to another store where it's worked, saw a familiar face and we chatted as I bought my cards no problem! So, at least I got it done, but get frustrated when not everyone does things all the same. (That's something I really like at my BB, there is never a question). I don't think anything changed just that she didn't realize the card I had, as the others do say on the back they can't be used for gift cards. The regular cards do not refer to gift cards at all.
I've been successful at Walgreens in buying Ebay cards(loadable $500 ones), Disney, and once bought a BB loadable, then took that to BB and bought ebay cards. I guess I was thinking it would spread it out a bit and not just be all ebay cards, lol. And I like my BB, lol.

It's been awhile since I did the card churning at Target. Is the 5% red card discount still working online when you buy a Disney card with a target gift card?

Up to 8%/4x eBay bucks!

Now to decide what to do....I have some GCs that dropped off the 2k restriction that I could use. Just not sure if I should wait for a 5x or just go for the 4x. My trip is the end of Oct so time is limited. Ugh...hate these new restrictions!!

so... just a quick ?... can you still churn target/ebay/target? using r/c online for 5% extra? I am actually forgetting, now that most activity is elsewhere right now... I mean all online purchase, nothing in store....

Not really. You have to go in store to get the ebay cards, so unless you pay with your redcard, no 5% off. Plus there are no longer any reputable sellers who sell target cards on ebay, so you have to go with private sellers and many ask higher than value.

ok, this is getting really fustrating, I never get any of these bonus buck promotions what am I doing wrong? on another note, can I use my hubbies ebay account if he gets one with my paypal?
