DISNEY Frozen Fun LIVE at HS Starting July 5 UPDATED

Finally! An add-on in a park that desperately needs it done quickly and done to serve the paying daily guests! And using some of the closed, lifeless buildings! It actually sounds very "cool" and I hope they will be rerunning this next summer (since this might actually bring me back for a 2015 trip!)...

It's almost like Disney corporate has been reading our idea boards for a quick Frozen Epcot pavilion from 2 months ago, since a Sing Along/Character Show, a Winter Playground for Kids, and a Character meet and greet (in addition to shops and snacks) were all in our plans (too bad we can't get a ride, too! We just didn't add the fireworks and daily "parade" or put it in DHS...

Well this just throws a wrench into my plans now. I have to adjust so my 6 year old can see all of these events. Cant wait 30 days left. On a side note, where is the Premiere Theater?

1. Probably an animatronic Olaf as they have at DL.

3. It's the same timing, 9:45 as the SWW fireworks. Best to go to the second Fantasmic as Hollywood Blvd. is completely packed before the 1st Fant ends. And, thanks to yulilin on the SWW thread, you can find a great, uncrowded view of the fireworks from in front of Prime Time.

I was thinking that Olaf would be animatronic as well but then it said that he would be onstage for the fireworks at the end of the night so now I am thinking that maybe it will be a costumed character.

Will Guests be able to meet Anna and Else at Disney’s Hollywood Studios?
Anna and Elsa will be making appearances as part of the Royal Welcome, “Frozen” Sing-Along, and “Frozen” Fireworks Spectacular. Princess Fairytale Hall at Magic Kingdom Park will continue to serve as the meet and greet location for Anna and Elsa.

Will Guests be able to meet Olaf in the park?
Olaf will be appearing during this event on screen and in announcements heard throughout the park. At this time, Olaf is not available for character greetings at Disney Parks.

Will Disney FastPass+ service be available for any experiences as part of this event?
Disney FastPass+ service will not be available at this time for the Frozen Summer Fun experiences.

I love when they release a little bit of info that creates so many questions, lol.

1. Will this be a M&G with Olaf and if so, what times will he be available, where and will there be fastpasses available?

2. Will the sing along only be in the afternoons after A&E arrive at HS? Again, what times will the shows be and will there be fastpasses available?

3. As someone asked before how will the fireworks go along with Fantasmic? I am assuming you exit Fantasmic and then you can find a spot on Hollywood Boulevard to watch the fireworks?

4. Will the trading post be open from park opening to park close?

I am hoping that we find out this information before it starts in nine days so we can change around fastpasses and plan what time of day to do our other fastpasses, arrive at the park, etc.

Kenny the Pirate keeps things pretty well updated, so maybe he will have info up as it comes available. I will be there the day it starts, any information I have at that time I will pass along.

Well, the Frozen stuff is done every day and at some point HS has to be the most recommended park. One would think. So maybe that won't change a lot?

I so hope that "frozen pond" is available for guests to use as well and not just demonstrations. Doubtful, but I can hope. I'd pack my skates in a heartbeat!!!

DTD in Anaheim puts up a frozen pond for ice skating each Christmas Season. Maybe the pond is being imported from CA.

DTD in Anaheim puts up a frozen pond for ice skating each Christmas Season. Maybe the pond is being imported from CA.

If they are using what I assume they are, we call it glice and it's a plastic synthetic with a special coating that makes it act as ice without the need for refrigeration. Pretty readily available, my club has used it for promotional demonstrations even in retail stores. I so hope they let the people skate!

Well, hell. Disney may have just sucked us in to a late summer trip.

I had the same reaction, switched our end of august trip WDW for a September disneyland trip. Now I am missing WDW even more with the new frozen fun at DHS.
Some times wish money grew on trees lol.

I was wondering that too, so I pulled up the day we'll be at DHS (which also happens to be a PM EMH night.) According to the Disney site they'll have Fantasmic! at 9:00 and 10:30 and the FROZEN fireworks are at 9:45, so it sounds like they'll be between the two showings of Fantasmic!
