DISNEY Frozen Fun LIVE at HS Starting July 5 UPDATED

I think this is a genius move by Disney (and usually I'm more in the complainers/what were they thinking/how can they be so stupid camp). Take the hottest property they have right now and put it into one of their least popular parks in a way where minimal infrastructure is required to help disburse the summer crowds. The kids who are this target audience are exactly the same kids who flock to the MK. So now you're pulling people away from your most popular/over crowded park, and probably even encouraging more people to buy hoppers so they can spend part of the day in MK and part of the day in DHS.

At first I was disappointed this would end before I got there. Then I realized there is a 0% chance this is not extended 'by popular demand'. This will probably run longer than that other "temporary" show they just built a new theater for over at AK.

Hoping this will be extended through the fall so I can see those fireworks! I was just thinking about how awesome the Frozen music would be for a fireworks display the other day. Disney read my mind!

MNSSHP begins in September and Disney won't want to draw guests away from the hard-ticketed events. Entertainment CMs in the Frozen activities will need to move to MNSSHP for the parade and the many character events. Maybe the Frozen events will have an encore in January?

We arrive on Sept 10th and this would be a HUGE hit for our family... fingers crossed that this gets extended!!!!!!!!!!

Can't decide if this is good or bad. People loose their mind at the mention of that F word. Civility is lost, in a place that has many people barely holding on to their civility without it. Do I go and see these fun things or run as far from HS as I can to avoid the F madness that takes over.

1. Will this be a M&G with Olaf and if so, what times will he be available, where and will there be fastpasses available?

2. Will the sing along only be in the afternoons after A&E arrive at HS? Again, what times will the shows be and will there be fastpasses available?

3. As someone asked before how will the fireworks go along with Fantasmic? I am assuming you exit Fantasmic and then you can find a spot on Hollywood Boulevard to watch the fireworks?

4. Will the trading post be open from park opening to park close?

I am hoping that we find out this information before it starts in nine days so we can change around fastpasses and plan what time of day to do our other fastpasses, arrive at the park, etc.

1. Probably an animatronic Olaf as they have at DL.

3. It's the same timing, 9:45 as the SWW fireworks. Best to go to the second Fantasmic as Hollywood Blvd. is completely packed before the 1st Fant ends. And, thanks to yulilin on the SWW thread, you can find a great, uncrowded view of the fireworks from in front of Prime Time.

Well this just throws a wrench into my plans now. I have to adjust so my 6 year old can see all of these events. Cant wait 30 days left. On a side note, where is the Premiere Theater?

Not to mention, just last week Disney announced the Rock Your Disney Side Dance Party at HS, that started at 6:00, with 30 min music by their Mulch band and then characters came out and danced about 6:30 or so. That was scheduled to run till 8/22. So what happens to it? Gone before it got going?
