The one meal we have here I always get the same thing (my FAV)
Chicken Breast Nuggets (8 pieces) $7.69
I got the tomato because there is a hamburger fixings mini bar in that same area, and I love tomatoes. ;)
IMG_2284.jpg

DH got the much healthier:rolleyes:
Turkey and Munster Cheese on Focaccia Bread - $8.09
He liked it all, "I'd get it again" so it must be good!
IMG_2285.jpg

Kid's Chicken Nuggets $4.99(adult's is far superior)
IMG_2286.jpg

For our adult meals (on DP) we were able to get an ice cream at the ice cream stand, they just added to the receipt and we could bring it over at any time. WIsh I would have gotten a picture of the ice cream. it was delish! Ate it out near the kiddie water area while the kids were running around (at night which the kids thought was fantastic)

Anandapur Ice Cream Truck

Didn't get anything, in fact I didn't even know what it was at the time. I just thought it was neat!
I THINK this place is called Drinkwallah
We got a Blue Raspberry slush while waiting for the Christmas parade. It was ok. Nothing spectacular
IMG_2227.jpg

Favorite Slush is this one... in Adventure land, Sunshine Tree Terrace Raspberry Lemonade Slush $3.29
DS finds them a bit sour...but he is a little dramatic. This slush is my MUST

Back to AK...
Tusker House Lunch
I found this place to be SO noisy, but the food made up for it. I wondered where it was many things unknown, but it was fantastic, and A LOT of variety! My picky sister and Mother even found things to like.
I LOVED the inside.
IMG_2216.jpg

I wish I could tell you what these items were, but I guarantee you that I tried it.:rolleyes1
IMG_2217.jpg

DD's plate to the left, mine to the right...told you I tried a bit of everything. I don't remember thinking 'oh disgusting' Only did that with one dish at 1900 PF (parsley salad)
IMG_2219.jpg

IMG_2220.jpg

It's even more important to try all desserts, DD agrees with me so we share.
IMG_2222.jpg

As if we needed anything more, but here are the birthday cupcakes for the kiddos.

This will forever be a memory for my family. My Mother kept handing me cups of the assorted flavors to try. Got to the Italian 'Beverly' and I did everything I could not to spit it out. Luckily, I had the camera and there were no pictures of my face in that moment!!It was AWEFUL:laughing:
I tried to get ds to try it afterwards...he wouldn't.
IMG_2037.jpg

All memories of the others faded instantly after the Italian soda.

San Angel Inn
As a non buffet, this is our FAVORITE.. The food was awesome, it was quiet and relaxing.
They bring you out salsa and chips, both are delicious. We had a mild and spicy salsa (fresh). My son to this day asks for the salsa like what we had in Disney World. Sorry kiddo, mama doesn't make homemade salsa..to the jar it is.
(Excuse my sister deadly glare...she was hungry, and a teenager.)
IMG_1958.jpg

All of us adults ordered the...Tampiquena Con Chilaquiles - Grilled beef tenderloin served with Chilaquiles (layers of fried corn tortilla, green toa chicken enchilada topped with ranchera sauce and esquites $22
It was VERY good. I had better steak at Raglan Road, but it was still very very good!!
To the left is the kids meal...Beef Taco - Soft flour tortilla with ground beef.
Mom, the picky eater, didn't care for much of her steak meal. The kids meals were SO huge, I told her to eat off the kids as they could have shared one. Rice off of their plates was very good too!:rolleyes1
IMG_1967.jpg

Now, I have been talking about this dessert every since I ate it. Nothing will ever compare, it was HEAVENLY.
Capirotada de Chocolate Blanco - white chocolate golden raisin bread pudding served with Mexican milk caramel $5.75
IMG_1969.jpg

I hope I can find something similar at a bakery somewhere in DW this trip as we are not doing any TS. ALthough, I might go in just for this dessert and a coffee. MMMMmmmmmmm.........
---
DH ordered what I thought was a white Chocolate mousse. NOt seeing it on their menu now though.
IMG_1970.jpg

the 2 picky eater (aka mom and sister) I think may have ordered vanilla ice cream for dessert. So blan, no picture. lol

I adore this restaurant. I can't say how wonderful our meal was (minus the soda bread)
It's an experience, try it if you can..
IMG_1749-1.jpg

We all ordered the Serious Sirloin Steak - 10 oz sirloin topped with Irish whiskey glazed, drizzled with gresh basil oil. Served with mashed potatoes and topped with crispy fried onion strings $27
So tender, fries were better than they looked, and the fried onions were so yummy. I was iffy about the basil oil, but it was fantastic. DH got the mashed potatoes and thinks I missed out, but I think the same of him for the fries.:rotfl:
IMG_1753-1.jpg

Kids meal-Fish'n'Chips - Fresh fish deep fried with a serving of tasty Irish chips $8.50 Which was HUGE. Way too much for one child. I would have been happy with their meal.
IMG_1751-1.jpg

I know I ordered the Dunbrody's Kiss and shared it with everyone at the table. I don't think anyone else ordered a dessert because they were so tired.(This day we had flewn in and rushed to get to the restaurant...and we were all getting sick) I honestly don't remember the dessert. But I remember thinking it was good.

This was from Goofy's on July 18...I think. It was the monthly special and it was huge!! It cost 3>95 but I think that was a reduced price because the CM told me they had tons of them in the ref/freezer and they wanted to get ri of them.
