Well, it is off topic, but okay. The guy in the green shirt in the Teppan Edo picture was a big mouth! You know the type of guy who knows EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING? His kids had poor table manners and he hogged our cook's time by talking his ear off! He talked mostly about his favorite subject - himself!!

Other than that, it really was a great meal!

Now we can get back on topic. Sorry!

Thanks for sharing. I have not eaten at Teppan Edo in a many years. If you order sushi do they make it at the table or do they just bring it from Tokyo Dining?

I haven't eaten at Teppan Edo since the renovation but when I ordered sushi, they did bring it from Tokyo Dining. They also bought over tempura too!

Thanks a bunch. These were the kind of pictures I was looking for. We have never eaten at the Rose and Crown and I am a bit nervous. It'll be our 24th wedding anniversary and our son's 11th birthday so we'll be celebrating at the Rose and Crown.

Any more Rose and Crown food pics?

Rose and Crown

Umm can't remember if I posted this already, but here is the Marinated Chicken Breast - served with roasted garlic bread pudding and onion broth topped with onion marmalade. It was good. I could have ate a cup of that marmalade on top, it was soo good.

Sorry the pic is a little blurry, as it was getting a little dark outside and I did not want use the flash.

We were able to score a 7:30 reservation and had the good luck to get a water-side table to watch Illuminations. We were eating desert and watching the show. It was great! I did notice that my food cooled a bit faster since we were sitting outside, but it was worth it for that view!

Seriously, my picture does not do it justice.

Any particular concerns you'd like addressed?

If you want a more quiet spot, request outdoors or away from the bar.
If you like the music, request near the bar.

We did not order sushi at Teppan Edo. I had SOOO much sushi at California Grill and it was so good, I figured Teppan Edo would not measure up!!
