that mini montage of V&A photos was cool!

the v&A pics again with description!

top to bottom, cold buffalo tenerloin app with radishes and blood orange vinaigrette, hot peppered quail app, kurobuta pork app, veal teneroin entree.
We made all the same choices until the end, where james took the cheese plate and i had the gelato, then finally james took the trio of chocolate deserts, and i had the caramelised banana gateau.

<sniffle> I do not eat lamb. I am so picky. I guess I am back to ordering the soup and salad or the Childrens Sheppards pie if it is made with beef...I almost cancelled but my family wants fish and chips and bangers and mash.

Around here (WV) they come out about twice a year on a "this is the end of the McRib" final tours........funny, but according to the local marketing, the McRib has been on it's last leg for about three years now. Wish they would make up their minds.

shepherds pie is made of lamb also unfortunately

Sometimes cottage pie (which is made from beef) is mistakenly called shepherd's pie. It doesn't hurt to ask what is in it.

yeh i hate them too!! you get more pitta than shown in the pic too, i had already been munching into it when i remembered to take a pic!

I was a CM until i broke my ankle on the 25th February!
Been home in scotland for a month now
I worked as a server at the Rose and Crown It was lucky i got to try the new menu items when they were being presented to the execs...coz i flew home 1 day before the menu officially changed and I would have been gutted if I hadnt had a chance to try the new items!

No i wont be going back out, we have a year contract, my contract was originally supposed to be up on 21st march, but I got an extension approved until 23rd May.
Then 2 weeks after the extension was approved i broke my ankle! just my luck! so i came home on 15th march, only 1 week before I was originally due to come back, and once you stop working your visa is void!! But I was lucky enough to still get my full year out there!

McRib= Best Sandwich Ever

If they do ever totally discontinue it I will boycott Mickey D's in protest. I don't know what its made of, I don't want to know what its made of, all I know is that a McRib with no onions and extra pickles is a little slice of heaven served between a sesame seed bun.

I agree. Usually, when my kids want Mickey D's, I will go through the drive through for them and them go somewhere else for my self and my DH. When the McRib is back on the menu I stuff myself eating two the very same way you describe. It is more than worth the upset tummy.

Pssssst to everyone concerning the McRibs:

In publix, there is a meat-free frozen section and in that section you will find Gardenburger's BBQ Meatless Ribs. They taste and chew like the McRib. Sure, they are meatless, but who cares!? I'm a veggie and when I feel like meat, or think of meat, I eat that. YUM! Stick it in a bun, with some of the onions and pickles like MickeyD's and there ya go!

2 deserts from Citricos, Lemon cheesecake and trio of sorbets

OMG, sorbet and lemon cheesecake are like my 2 favourite desserts - I think I'd have to have 2 desserts here!!!

They look scrummy - we're hoping to hold our wedding reception at Citrico's but weren't planning on having dessert as we'll have wedding cake of course.
Hmmmm, I wonder if we can have wedding cake with a side of sorbet?
