Mini-Dessert at Grand Floridian Cafe. Hazelnut or chocolate mousse flavored dessert, I think. The blueberries with the chocolate was surprising but yum!
Here is my dd6 wishing that her food tasted better :
Seriously, though, the experience was nice - the food @ Norway PSB was WAY better IMO. We didn't bother taking a picture of scrambled eggs, 3 slices bacon and 2 sausages. I can make that at home, may taste better. I am glad we did it for the experience, just want to make that clear. Don't think we'd repeat it.
The mashed potatoes were the BEST! Better than my DH's homemade. Everything else in the meal went in the trash. I didn't eat the green beans. Too onion-y. And I only ate part of the chicken thigh. I liked the crispy skin but the chicken meat was dry.
The sweet pretzel with almonds (good - be warned, it has raisins in it - dd didn't like that!)
And the famous school bread:
and the GOOD part of the school bread:
I couldn't get over how yummy this was - and the cream was cool! I'm sure it's due to refrigerated case, but it was sweet and decadent and almost refreshing all at the same time.
We were very pleasantly surprised by the buffet. Here's my plate, let's see if I can remember everything:
Clockwise from bacon (since that's the most recognizable): potato wedges, sweet potato casserole, ham, vegetable quiche, beef bobotie (sp?), sausage pattie, cheese crepe w/ apple, chocolate and mango (?) bread, orange banana bread, chocolate croissant. The only thing I really didn't like was the orange & banana bread - it was dry. Everything else was fantastic.
