Here is our food from Plaza...

The food was good here, the service I felt was a little slow (but I may just have been impatient that day).

My biggest problem with the Plaza was that I didn't like using a table service credit on food that seemed to be counter service style. (Hamburger and fries)

Here are our appetizers....
Salad for me...

No dessert pictured cause I was in such a hurry to get back to the park that I got my dessert to go...... I wanted to get a banana split, but since I wasn't eating there... didn't seem like a good idea! :rotfl2:

Always happy to add to the food porn:

This is a sandwich I had from Mara at AKL. I don't remember the name of it, but it was very good. It's a hot sandwich.

I know, it's not food porn, but I have a huge man-crush and I was this close to him at WDW and had to share:

The princesses at CRT are at breakfast and lunch only. At dinner, it is Cinderella in the lobby, and upstairs the FGM and mouse/mice do a little song number.

I believe 1900 PF has Alice, Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins at breakfast. At dinner, it is Cinderella, PC, SM, & SSisters.

Thanks for the info! I thought I must have been confusing them ;)

Hey JimmieD can you tell (show) me more food from POP?

I will be staying there for the first time and,I am nervouse about the food particularly because I have picky eaters. We normally stay at ASMO my kids love the food there not sure if its the same? If anyone can offer any info about the two compared it would be much appreciated.

We stayed at POP just the last night of our trip and only ate there one meal. Sorry I can't offer you more.

JimmieD,

What camera and/or what setting did you use for those pictures? They look wonderful!

I used a Canon 20D DSLR. You'll notice from the photos there are no harsh shadows. That's because I used a fast lens without flash. It really makes for a better photo when you can use available light. Alternatively, you could use a small tripod with a point n shoot and by turning off the flash you'll get great shots as well.

I love the food court there! Check out the menus on AllEars!! They have hamburers, pizza, cicken alfredo ! My GKs loved the steak wraps! Thet have iceream sundaes ! Breakfast is the usual eggs, sausage, bacon waffles etc. The food court is set up in stations so you have a lot to pick from I think your kids will be fine !!

My review:
I had read LOTS of poor reviews of this place. Everything from "it didn't move to I got sick from the movement to characters were dirty, to cold bland food.... etc etc etc. I went in with low expectations.
I was REALLY SURPRISED!!!

The scenery I LOVED. Living with the Land is one of my favorite rides in all WDW. I really enjoyed the "behind the scenes" views. The characters were minimal, but they were clean, and interaction was GREAT!
The food... the food... ohhh. I have to admit I was in HEAVEN with the food. The Homestyle Potato Casserole was the ONLY Disney meal I have EVER asked for the recipe from. We tried making it at home a couple times, and we couldn't even get close. It was delicious. Maybe we just had a good date, but EVERYTHING was perfect! AAMOF, the food was better than the dessert!!!
The meat was perfect too. It was ALL really good. Its a definite must do again.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
The one thing I will point out is that the food here is all grown/raised on property (except for the meat), or so I'm told.
The food at The Garden Grill just tasted so healthy and lite. It was great after a lot of non-healthy foods we had consumed that trip. If your a health nut (or not) you'll especially like TGG.
