Theres some really good threads here (or have been in recent weeks) on the budget forums here as well. Knowledge is power. The more knowledge, the more chances of debtfree.
But what about the extreme home? I would be interested to hear about that.

And to see more food porn, of course!

Hey JimmieD can you tell (show) me more food from POP?

I will be staying there for the first time and,I am nervouse about the food particularly because I have picky eaters. We normally stay at ASMO my kids love the food there not sure if its the same? If anyone can offer any info about the two compared it would be much appreciated.

I found this picture for you. This was so very, very good. I think I posted it once already, but I don't know if you saw it.

Flame Tree BBQ has dry rub ribs

Thank you!! They look yummy, were they?

I didn't post that picture, but I'd LOVE to answer that question!

I have eaten at 3/4ths of the WDW restaurants. I've did several signature meals. Now, read this closely... If I were given the horrible news that I could never, EVER eat at another Disney restaurant, and if I were told I could enjoy ONE LAST MEAL at a Disney restaurant....... No, it wouldn't be LeCellier, it wouldn't be CA Grill, or Boma, or Cinderella's Royal Table... it would be,,, with NO hesitation... FLAME TREE!!!!! YES! Its THAT good!!! The St. Louis Ribs at Flame Tree is one meal that we do every single trip. We NEVER miss it, since the first time we ate there. Those ribs are my single favorite food on God's green planet!
I don't know WHY they are so good to me, since so many say they are dry or messy, but I just LOVE them. They are perfect without sauce so you can taste the smoked process they use, and they are even better dipped in their hot variety sauce. If they sold the sauce I would buy it by the gallon.:stir: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

marcia... :love1: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :love1:
THANK YOU!!! You just made my night with those pictures of Yak & Yeti!

We have ADRs there for Sept. I was planning to call WDW in a few minutes and change them to Jikos. (Not that Jikos won't be awesome) Your plate had JALAPENOS!!!:cool1: I'm a chilehead. I crave fiery hot foods like some people crave cigarettes. I never can find hot foods in WDW. I saw jalapenos and a red sauce that looked like a red hot chile sauce. I'm keeping that ADR! Now I just gotta figure out which one to ditch for Jikos, because I've got myself wanting to go there as well.

PS, don't take the kisses personally... I'm a happily married man!:rotfl:

Tutto Italia from May 17th. Lunch.

Basket of Bread--beware! If you finish it off, they bring you a WHOLE NEW basket!

IMG_2163.jpg

Fresh Mozzarella - vine ripened tomatoes, basil and Tuscan olive oil (the mozzarella was oh so soft and the tomatoes were perfectly seasoned).

IMG_2165.jpg

Lasagna al Forno with meat ragu, bechamel and parmesan (I didn't taste it but Dbf said it was very good!).

IMG_2166.jpg

Trofie - Ligurian pasta with pine-nut basil pesto and fagiolini green beans (I knew straight away that their pasta is home-made. It was tender and flavorful).

IMG_2167.jpg

Not on their menu (that I think, at least), but a free birthday treat for me!

Cosmic Rays, May 17th. Dinner.

Vegetarian burger with apple slices and mushrooms, cooked onions, ketchup, mustard, and tomato from the fixings bar. The bun was soft, dusted with flour, and NOT whole wheat.

IMG_2179.jpg

The new chicken nuggets with fries. My boyfriend is a disney chicken strips lover and he declared that the nuggets are the exact replicas of the old strips, just into nugget form. They were all white meat, and not ground up patties. You have a choice of 6 or 8. He picked 8.

We are eating here in September, how did you like the trofie? I have been looking at the menu and really want to try this, so I was wondering how you like it?

Yeay! A veggie burger! Question though, is the veggie burger like a Garden Burger (grains and vegetables) or like a Boca Burger (soy based)?

Thanks!

It is more like a soy based Boca Burger. It was cooked a little longer than how I do it, but then again--I microwave mine and they probably grill theirs. It was also slightly bigger and thicker than the commercial ones that you can buy in supermarkets. But slap some of those fixings on and its a messy good time!
