Well I was doing them in alphabetical order, since that's how the order they're in on my Photobucket account, but I guess I could post them now. ;) (Sorry, I only have one, and it's little.)

A few more!

50's Prime Time (see mini-review below)

Off the Kids menu: Grilled Chicken Strips with macaroni topped with marinara sauce and mozzarella, served with veggies and fruit salad $7.59

P9110186.jpg

Also off the Kids Menu: Grilled Fish of the Day served with whole-grain pilaf, veggies, and yogurt parfait $7.59

P9110187.jpg

OFF The ADULT menu (here and below) Chicken Pot Pie - creamy mixture of chicken, mushrooms, carrots, celery, peas, and onions topped with a flaky pastry $16.99 - My wife said the crust was great, but the rest was just "OK".

P9110188.jpg

Roasted Pepper - stuffed with whole grains and smoked ratatouille $12.49
(At the time I hadn't seen the movie Ratatouille, but planned to see it as soon as we got back. I must confess thats the ONLY reason I chose this one!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: It was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. The pepper was HUGE!!! It was way too much food! It was a LOT bigger than it looks in the picture. The fork must've been really big!!!;)

The 50s Prime Time was HIGH on my list of TS to try. I was disappointed. I'm rarely EVER disappointed with Disney food. It was all good, but it wasn't anything spectacular. Maybe its because we always eat exotic and unusual foods at home AND on vacation. This was food like I grew up on. It reminded me more of "a family reunion" food. I come from a poor background, I guess I've always tried to get away from this kind of food.
I had heard lots of great reviews of this place, and I expected a full "interactive" experience with the "moms", but it was very minimal. Not much scolding for bad behaviours and such. My children were misbehaving for fun to see if they would correct them, and they didn't seem to even notice. (IE: My son would flop both arms on the table and look at the waitress to get a response, and she would'nt say anything.)
In their defense, I will add that (as you probably noticed) they have a BETTER kids selection than many do. The kids meals there were very nice.
One more observation i made is THAT RESTAURANT is HUGE!!! It looks so small from the outside, but seating seems to go in all directions like a rat maze.

Actually the Dolphin-fish is not a Dolphin. Did you ever wonder why the fish on the roof of the Dolphin Resort wasn't a Dolphin? It is also a dolphin-fish.

That clears up SO much!!!!! thanks for the info :goodvibes

Does anyone have, or can some one link me to pictures of Teppan Edo. I have looked through this thread and don't see any. Did I miss them?

We just got back and haven't begun uploading pics yet, but when we do; we will have quite a few different places to post...one being Teppen Edo. Don't remember how many, but there is definately 1 ;)

If you look at all my postings you'll see crayons in most of them somewhere. My kids didn't seem to like them. Said they tasted funny. (There's nothing like a good joke, and thats NOTHING like a good joke.)

Tony's Town Square from this past Saturday, May 16th. Lunch.

We both ordered the Bianca flatbread (basically white pizza with a blend of 6 cheeses). We come to Tony's every trip so we can have our favorite pizza/flatbread in the world.

You see how I like it?

Kaki gori. Cherry flavored.

Everything Pop--pancakes. Instead of meat we got eggs. We also always split our breakfasts.

Can you get the flatbread pizza from Tony's at dinner? It looks goooood - and we have dinner ADRs there in June.

First, a little indoor picture:

I'm amazed I even have pictures from here. I took some, and my DH, who thinks I'm silly for taking pictures, took the rest for me. :lovestruc I was busy keeping our baby from getting restless, in between bites of food. FYI, we were allowed to bring in our stroller for her to lie in (too little for highchair then).

And now the FOOD:

Corn and Crab Soup with sour cream and chives
IMG_2601.jpg

BLT Salad - a mixture of frisee, iceberg lettuce, baby spinach, with applewood bacon, tomato, eggs, red onion and roasted shallot vinaigrette
(Not as good as in 2006, but still tasty)
IMG_2600.jpg

Pretzel Rolls
IMG_2596.jpg

Grilled Pork Tenderloin with orzo cheese casserole, cremini mushrooms and a port wine reduction

This wasn't as good as last trip. :sad2: I'm not sure what was different. Maybe it was me. DH ordered this. He didn't think it was anything special. I ordered it last trip.
IMG_2607.jpg

IMG_2608.jpg

Roast Prime Rib of Beef with gratin potatoes and a cabernet sauce
I was trying to be brave and try something new. I didn't like it. I'm not sure how prime rib normally tastes. Maybe this was good. :confused3 DH said it was just okay.
IMG_2610.jpg

Chocolate Cream Cheese Buckle with choclate ice cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce
IMG_2614.jpg

Raspberry Sorbet
IMG_2616.jpg

Mini Hot Dogs with potato tots, green beans and carrots
IMG_2611.jpg

Chicken Strips with mashed potatoes, green beans and carrots
IMG_2609.jpg

Royal Crown Sundae - vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, and coronated with a chocolate crown
IMG_2613.jpg

Birthday cupcake
I tasted dd's cupcake. It was actually quite good. In 2006, we also had a b-day, and it was dry.
IMG_2604.jpg

In 2006, I thought CRT was just WONDERFUL! In 2008, I wasn't as impressed. I thought some of that was b/c I had been there before. The first trip, you are really impressed with your surroundings. However, I really do think the food wasn't as good the second time. I still think everyone should go at least once. And if you want to go back again, good for you! :thumbsup2 As far as character interaction, I think it's fine. Cinderella's in the lobby (a little rushed both times) and FGM and at least one mouse was upstairs (two first trip). They walk amongst you quickly and sometimes stop to pat and hug kids (no guarantee).

Hope you like the pics!

I really don't know. We always go for lunch and thats when its available. You can probably ask for it when you are there, perhaps they can make it special order for you? It is fabulous! The bites with the ricotta cheese is just heaven.

We've done CRT several times - for both breakfast and lunch. The food is fine - not worth what you're paying but again you're paying for the dining experience. It truly is magical to dine in the Castle and my girls always love it! I say the meal to do is breakfast - it's the cheapest of the three meals and you still give your kids the thrill of dining in Cinderella's house!:)

I've asked this same question several times, & noone seems to know. If you're able to order it for dinner, will you please post a thread in big bold letters letting us know you were able to? :p I'd like to order flatbread for dinner also.

TBGOES2DISNEY - There aren't any other princesses there?!?! Yikes...I would have thought there would have been more than just Cindy, FGM and a mouse...wow! No Prince Charming? Hmmm...maybe I'm getting this and 1900 mixed up...:confused3

Marcia, how did you like the Plaza? The chili and sundae look so good! :hyper: We plan to go for the first time on our next trip.

The princesses at CRT are at breakfast and lunch only. At dinner, it is Cinderella in the lobby, and upstairs the FGM and mouse/mice do a little song number.

I believe 1900 PF has Alice, Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins at breakfast. At dinner, it is Cinderella, PC, SM, & SSisters.

i LOVE the plaza. it's perfect for what it is - sandwiches, salads, and ice cream. not a great deal on the DDP, but great for paying OOP (although, i was on the plan, but i wasn't trying to maximize by any means!). it's a nice break, and usually easier to get ADR's for. i mean, i got my 4:50pm ADR for a night of the P&PP less than a month in advance.
