**Disney Fantasy May 19th, 2012- EASTERN** (INDEX/ROLE CALL, PAGE 1--ENTRY 2)

I got all caught up with work (and making a photo book for our USF trip) and lo and behold, all these posts!!!

Love the countdown Sonya! Yes, it is a long time away but will be cool to see that number drop.

Ok, so checked into taking Kai (my DS for those who don't know me). It wasn't so bad and debating about adding him to our cabin. Thoughts peoples? Should I keep it a Mother/Daughter trip or take my baby along for the ride? He will be 7 (yes, seven, isn't that crazy? ) by then. Sabrina will be 10!

Also looked and it seems we are on the late dinner so still need to have DU change that to early dinner to be with you guys. I think I will opt for the later show too.

Tempted to move to an outside window but the virtual porthole AND the fact I am next door to Kathy and across the hall from JorDan is keeping me in my place. I am so excited!!!

So Joni (DH) still has no interest. I told him Tony was going and that helped a bit but he just did not enjoy the last cruise. On the positive side, that means I should have plenty of free time (unlike last trip) but on the negative side, has anyone ever dined at Palo solo? Can't imagine that would be fun but would hate to miss out on that. We'll see. He could change his mind but not so sure I want him to.

I won't get a Disney fix for awhile now. We won't go next year since we are planning on spending 6 weeks in Finland next summer so...please..share your stories! I will live vicariously through all of you!!!!

No ideas on names -- will think about it and ask Sabrina too. The mind of an almost 9 year old can produce some pretty interesting and creative things!!!!

As for Texas -- I am from Austin. I have lived here almost all of my life. My DH is from Finland (thus the long vacations there). Yes, I am a Longhorn and a Cowboys fan and yes, I still root for them even despite the horrible losing seasons.

In order to get pricing, I will need to wait until a few months before the cruise as I need an idea of how many we need. This is a small order (under 1,000) and they want exact, or close to, numbers. No worries, last time they were like $1.00-$1.50, so not bad at all.

However, I agree with my mom that I'm sure some of the guys on our trip might not want to wear them if they are pink. I'm fine with keeping with the glow in the dark, neon green. The color really made them easy to spot.

We are early dinner and late show as well. I will be too stressed trying to hurry up and get ready for the early one after port days I think.

Re Palo, we probably won't do the dinner this time around, but we will do brunch - you're more than welcome to come to that with us! We know we get on!!!

I'm not worried about having a porthole - the only thing I would like is a veranda but I don't think I can swing the extra money with flight costs going up so much so I'll be sticking with our room I think! Do you know I checked prices earlier and our cabin has gone up £300 (about $500) since we booked Tuesday!!!! - I can't believe it!! I'm glad you all got me in early!!

Jason's is Quasar281 & mine is Tink113. I am hardly ever on. I like playing Peggle and one vs 100 when it was on. Jason has been playing DJ Hero a lot lately.

Welcome Disneystick! I think you may have come up with a good name for us~ "Eastern Fun on the Fantasy" sounds good to me... certainly short, to the point, and a contender in my way of thinking.

Didn't really think about naming, that was what I was calling my cruise excitement. Since now I am thinking about naming, here is one....since during Star Wars weekend in May, "May the Fantasy be with You doing the Eastern"

Mati, I'd say to being Kai (assuming he wants to go). You know he'll have fun with all the other kids and the price on a third in our cabin is less than $400 (at least for an infant)...

As for the Palo, what if all the ladies had a night out? That would give the men time to do whatever (or babysit) and then noone would be alone? I think they even have a big room that can be booked as long as you have a certain number of people. Just a thought... (Something I'd be up for, at least!)

Amanda, I have to agree on the pink. Obviously (with my job), I think breast cancer is very important but that's not what this cruise is about (at least for me). Plus, I can tell you now that no man in my group is going to wear anything with pink in it...not even a male infant. I'll go with the group and support whatever, but kind of liked the neon green (maybe with some colored writing) myself...

JorDan... I agree with you on the name, shorter is better considering we refer to ourselves that way many multiples of times! AND I love the Dream's horn too, now I am more curious than ever about the Fantasy.

Mati... I am along with Cinda regarding Kai... couldn't really imagine this sort of trip without all my kids, can't you tell? I even bring them when they are grown! Concerning the Palo night... we have been given the private room twice and it is very nice., The room holds 12, I believe. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of room for others. You are more than welcome to either join us or I wouldn't complain too much about going an additional time with "the girls", although I really would like to do tea... Anyway, going alone should not be an issue...

I am good with whatever name anyone chooses. Now that Halloween is behind me, can focus on the cruise for awhile (before the Thanksgiving/Christmas scramble hits).

Hey Mati ~ I think if you want to bring Kai along, you should. You know him and know if he would enjoy cruising again . Right now our group, JorDan, Lynsey and Sonya all have early dinner and have our reservations linked so we are at two tables of 6. Please let us know here or on facebook if you switch to early dinner. JorDan is our expert at calling DCL and getting our reservations linked. I'm glad that your primo cabin location is making you happy with what you have . I too am thinking that that virtual porthole will be pretty cool . You WILL not have dinner at Palo alone . Some of us want to do a group bruch and maybe even dinner. You are more than welcome to join our family for dinner at Palo if no group one is arranged . I would like to try the Palo Tea as we have never done that.
