**Disney Fantasy May 19th, 2012- EASTERN** (INDEX/ROLE CALL, PAGE 1--ENTRY 2)

Well, with our last cruise having a stop in Key West (with their infamous key lime pie that many DISers were dying to try) and then with the theme night "Pirates in the Caribbean"........the "Keylime Pie-rates" were "born" .

I actually live in Lafayette and work at Purdue . My son is a junior majoring in Physics and Astronomy at Purdue. Where are you in the "great" Hoosier state ?? BTW, your wife has an AWESOME name !!

Its nice meeting people from our home state. We are up in the N W corner , Schererville . We live some 90 miles from you, we know that ride down there oh-to-well, our oldest [DS] went to school there, taken "care package" to him every other week.Our other 3 DD went to PURDUE CAL.- CAMPUS in Hammond IN. Thanks for the K-L-P-raters story.I wouldn't have guest it. And GOOD-4-YOUR DS going to PURDUE. I bet you & KATH are really proud of him. Can't wait to meet you guys. And what are we going to name our FANTASY cruise in 2012?

What is everyone's guess for the Fantasy's Atrium statue? I am thinking possibly Crush from Finding Nemo.
I wish it was Admiral Donald on the Fantasy instead of the Dream because we are huge Donald Duck fans

WOW! What a small world. We just purchased some "choice" resale property [OKW] from a couple from ENGLAND. Must I sing It's a small world after all.

No way!!! OKW, you lucky thing! We are just back from our first DVC stay and loved it!! I am going to forgive you for putting "that" song in my head by the way!!!!

Ohh, well Tony will hope its Belle in her yellow dress *Sigh*. I am going to vote for . . . Tink! Oh - or does it have to be water related in some way? In which case I vote for the seagulls out of Nemo. "Mine, Mine" - love those birds!!!!

Is anyone on our FANTASY cruise in MAY 2012, booked on the DREAM in 2011? We have one booked in May 2011. Have the same stateroom booked on both ships. A 5e cat. 5th deck. Close to the movie theater.......can go to the show late at nite in my P. J.

Nothing really all that mysterious about Val... She was our DIS leader last time and a really great person to have along. Unfortunately, her husband was not as fond of the cruise and not at all interested in revisiting same.

Carole (Tink113sMom) is my mom. Yes, I know how redundant that sounded. Yes, Val is a "big hit". like we said, we were a unique & friendly bunch, so all our regular thread posters were "big hits". Val, however, was our thread mom. She kept us all in order ... If you couldn't tell, we can get a bit chatty. That's how we all became one big happy KLP family. Since then, our family has grown as 3 of our KLPs have had babies (myself included) since then & another due in a few weeks lovestruc Right Lynsey! ).

As far as who will be in the lobby, I'm with you Sonya. I vote for Tink....or Jimmeny Cricket (my mom's fav). However, I'm thinking it will be a Disney Princess if Disney is running a pattern. (Magic = Mickey (classic), Wonder = Ariel (Princess), Dream = Donald (Classic), Fantasy _____ (Princess???) In which case, I would vote for Belle!

Now for a name.... hmmm....

Everytime I think of Fantasy I think of Sorcerer Mickey or something from Fantasia. I have no idea what it could be, so many to choose from.
I would love it to be Belle. If it was, I'm afraid we'd have to guard the statue to keep Tony from taking it home

On our last cruise in May 2009, we had wristbands made. They were lime green and VERY easy to identify people from our group. Some people even told their kids if they needed help or got lost they could look for the wrist bands for help. I think it was so great!! I think we need to do something like that again. What does everyone think?

Also, No Dream cruise for us until after the Fantasy. Baby is too little to be totting across the country. We plan on re-booking again on the ship! Especially since we'll be GOLD members by then. WOO HOO

JorDan - I got all the wrist bands last time so I can look into it again. I loved looking at everyone's photos after wards and spotting all the neon green bands. I even got Brent to wear one, but he had to hide it under his sleeve so the Captain didn't see it and get after him.

I agree that there could be a problem with Tony if Belle is in the atrium . I too loved the wristbands from last time . Amanda ~ Do you remember how much more they would have been if you had the printing of the letters in a different color?

JorDan, you are now planting that re-booking seed in my mind . Maybe we should all just plan on cruising together every few years .

I am pretty sure Cinda was the one who came up with the last name... where are you Cinda? We still have plenty of time though...

The bracelets were excellent insurance for the grandmother in me... I was so afraid our 6 and 8 year old grandsons would get away from us and knew they would be safe with one of our group! They were only about a dollar each, so very well worth it!

No Dream trip for us either ... we are too partial to 7 day or longer trips.

I keep thinking about the EC Fantastiks...but mainly because I LOVE that musical! (So, I'm biased...) It ran for 40 years in Grenich Village, NYC and was an amazing musical! I'm all for whatever the group wants or chooses though!

As for bracelets, I'm good with any color and/or pattern. I did think they were an excellent idea, particularly for those with children. Obviously, I'm in for four (and hopefully 5...if it's really little )! I think our neighbors are talked into going with us. They are like second parents to us now and frankly, we couldn't imagine going without them! (They are the ones on FB at HHN with us.)

As for rooms, we are officially booked in 6190 and 6192. They are aft connecting balcony rooms. While they aren't cheap, I'm excited about them and love to view the wake of the ship when sailing. If we can't be found, we'll be relaxing there...

How is everyone doing dinner? I asked for the early dinner, but I was told to pick my show time preference. I was told to choose between 5 and 9, so I picked 9. I'm hoping that if we have a little one, they will be asleep by then...

I had joined the board for my October 2011 cruise, but never really got "into" it... So glad our group plus many new cool people are going! Now, it's just time to sit back and wait!
