Hi Sharon! I did put in a request for the FB group, but I don't think I have an answer yet. Also, I'm a first-time cruiser, so anything goes! I've kind of been reading up on the FE, and it sounds like loads of fun. I'm in! You guys just have to guide me through it. =D

You can either make one yourself...there are tons of patterns out there or you can buy some great ones on Etsy. Just do a search for Fish Extenders

Since this is my first cruise I am not positive on how to go. I am getting so many different responses on that question. I heard that going out on your own is the best because it is cheaper. I worry about that. Would if I don't make it to the ship on time...lol. I would think if you go through DCL you would be ok and if the weather is bad they would refund your money???

I get confused with all that Did you get into the FB page yet?

We have done two DCL cruises and we have done all our excursions through Disney. We have had a cancelled excurion and recieved a full refund. We have looked into a non Disney excursion but not to sure about missing the ship, bad weather and other mishaps. Anyone else have done non Disney excursions with input?

We will probably do a Disney excursion in St. Maarten and are looking at the one with the semi-submersible boat so the girls can see some sea life without getting wet. I believe we will also get to go to Marigot on the excursion which is what I want to do. As for San Juan, we plan to do a walking tour on our own and see at least one of the forts as well as the catholic church and whatever else we feel like doing.

Yup! We looked and the flights were crazy expensive! Ugh. Don't recall such high prices two years ago.

Well, did two things cruise related today!! Booked our flights and requested to join the FB group. We were able to get two of our flights on reward miles so it only cost us half as much as we were planning!

Our return flight is at 9:00pm, it was the only direct flight home that we could book using the reward miles. Has anyone used the Hyatt Orlando Airport Day use rooms? It is about $100 for the day from 10am to 6pm. We might have to do something like this as I can't imagine sitting around all day at the airport.

As for flight prices, we paid about $100 more for each of us than we did last year for our Christmas trip to WDW. We even booked our flights at this time last year.

We are driving and the plan is on staying the night before at PC on one of the hotels that have the 40% off parking at the port promo.

Looking at either the Hampton Inn or the Fairfield Inn in Tittusville. Also, hoping to get tickets for Kennedy Space Center for the day of the return.

Not a clue what we are doing after we come back. DW doesn't want to drive back home but doesn't want to stay in the area. We might swing around Atlanta or go to DC...

I was shocked when we looked at the price for friends of ours who wanted to come along. Thankfully we booked a year ago. Looking about three months ago for our friends, the prices were another 30-50% higher than when we booked!

Hi All,

Just booked yesterday for the 4th Disney Cruise. It'll be myself, DH, DD(9) and second DD(4). This will make our 3rd Christmas cruise( we did Dream 2012 and Magic 2013) We have agreed to have Christmas each year on a cruise because our family is so small and we like to feel surrounded by joy for the holidays. Looking forward to celebrating with you all.
