Disney Fantasy Caribbean Christmas 2014. Sailing Dec. 20-27, 2014

Hi! Is it to late to join in on the FE fun?!? We were first time cruisers on Fantasy Christmas 2013 and enjoyed it so much, we're doing it again! Unfortunately for the first cruise, I didn't figure things and join a FE group.... I'll be traveling with my DH, DD (14), and DS (13). In addition, we'll also be traveling with my sister's family - including her DH, DD (14), and DS (11) - and our Dad....

No it is not to late at all! We won't be cutting that off for quite awhile yet. We have 11 more months to go yet. I would love to have you join the FE.

Do you have a Face Book account? If you do you can go the following link and request to be added to the group. When you get there all you have to do is click on the file tab and there will be a folder where there is questions for you to answer. If you copy/paste the questions into an email then email them off to me. I will get you into the FE.

If you don't have a Face Book account then I can get the questions to you. No worries I am so happy that you are on the cruise with all of us!!!

This Christmas will be my first Christmas that I won't have to work in the last four years!! So we decided to try something special, so why not a Disney Cruise!

There are four of us, my DW, and our two DS (16 and 10). We are so looking forward to this vacation.

Hello RatherDrive! So happy you are going to be on the cruise with us!!! We do have a site where everyone is on FB the site is https://www.facebook.com/groups/141831929324974/

I try to always check the DIS group to new joiners. Are you interested in joining the FE fun? If you are when you join the FB site there is a file tab just go in there and you will find all the information. Then I post all the new update spreadsheet every time some one joins or changes something!!

I would be more than happy to be able to communicate with you here or email. This will be my second cruise. My first cruise will be right before this one with some of my kids for my husband and my vow renewal.

Too bad that you just don't have a general FB account so you can just join the group on FB and a few other fun filled information about Disney cruises. I will help you as much as I possibly can.

Have you heard about the Fish Extender/Exchanger or FE? There are a few things on the DISboards here that will describe what it is. It is like a secret santa.

Also the admin of the group on FB is looking at having a champagne meet up. And I am also having a dancing reception at one of the bars for our vow renewal. We are also sailing on this cruise! DW, DS17, DS14 and I (ages at time of sailing). Very excited.

This will be our fourth cruise, finishing up the grand slam (not in one year though). We sailed the Dream on a 5n double dip in August 2012, the Wonder on a 5n Western (without CC ) on Feb 2013, and the *new* Magic this past December 2013.

We had a taste of Xmas at DCL on the Magic. We spent Xmas at WDW and then sailed on 3n on Dec 27-30. Decorations were beautiful.

We'll be driving south from NJ and possibly staying at the Fairfield Inn in Tittusville to take advantage of the 40% off port parking coupon.

Not sure we'll do FE - boys not into that - we'll see if DW is interested. At least, I'll stop by the group meet.

I understand there's an FB group set up. Do the older kids have their own one set up yet or all using the same? I don't do FB, but my older one does. He loves Vibe and at this point he is saying this will be his last cruise because he won't be able to go to Vibe any more after he turns 18. My younger one is excited to be able to join his older brother however.

Can't wait!!!

Hi! We also live in NJ and my son is 17 as well. hopefully they can get together. I was worried he would be bored and the only 17 yr old in Vibe. He is a traditional football and video games type...

awesome! I am so excited for this trip. DD2 is potty trained now and will turn 3 in Dec so she will be in the clubs too. I can't wait to relax.

We forgot ours this past cruise. What an ordeal... We were lucky enough to realize this the night before around 8pm. I had my BIL go to my house to get them, then drive to Newark airport and used United same day service to send them over. They were flown the following morning on the first flight. We were in MIA. Even though the flight was delayed, we got them around 11:00 am and by 11:45 we were having lunch at Cabanas...

But the night before I did not sleep until 4am when I saw the plane depart towards EWR. And early in the morning making the flight from EWR would also depart...

Ugh...

OH NO!!! That must of been a nightmare for you!!! I can only imagine. I already have a folder going with all my kids birth certificates. My husband and I will have passports. I think I will duck tape it to my body...lol

We have two daughters ages 18 &
15 when we cruise and both enjoyed Vibe on our last cruise. Youngest daughter will still go and have a blast I am sure.

I think that the kids and adults alike will have tons of fun. I am sure all the kids will develop friendships and then you won't be able to get them off the cruise

Hi Sharon! I did put in a request for the FB group, but I don't think I have an answer yet. Also, I'm a first-time cruiser, so anything goes! I've kind of been reading up on the FE, and it sounds like loads of fun. I'm in! You guys just have to guide me through it. =D
