I really want to do family shirts for our disney cruise. I've tried checking zazzle, cafe press, disney .. but i can't find what I'm looking for. I see everyone's photos on this board - and have no idea where they get their shirts.

All I want is:
  • the same shirt for all of us with some sort of disney design (probably just mickey and minnie). maybe in different colors. Different sizes: Men's M, Women's S, toddler 3T and 18 month old sizes
  • Not personalized.

where do i find on-line a disney shirt for the family in appropriate sizes? i feel stupid that i can't figure this out!!

I get ours on Etsy. You can either get shirts totally made, or buy transfers that you can iron on yourself. I've done both, depending on budget.

Go over to the DISign board. There are a lot of great designers over there with T shirts designs that will customize them for you and then you can print them on transfer paper and iron them on a shirt. Places like Zazzle won't print personalized Disney designs for copyright reasons.

We kept waiting to order family t-shirts until everyone could agree on design and color and before we knew it we didn't have time to order shirts. We knew we could get matching shirts at the t-shirt place at Disney Springs (I can't remember the name of it, sorry.) So we just figured we get them the day before the cruise in Orlando. We were driving past Walmart on International Drive around 9 pm the first night we were in Orlando and decided to swing in to see what they had for Disney T-Shirts. They had many many designs and colors. It took us a little bit of time, but we were able to agree on one and found in it all the sizes we needed from M child to XXL adult. (I even saw it in infant and toddler sizes, but we didn't need those.) And the added bonus was that they were much cheaper than any of the ones I looked at on etsy. So, Walmart might be an option!

My 8 yr old son actually wore his Disney t to school today.

I make all ours myself (either appliqué or heat transfer vinyl) but I have the equipment to do so. Before that I either bought on etsy or many times you can find matching shirts in the varying size ranges from the Disney store- either in person or online.

Disney store online has customizable shirts, in the sense you can get this character on this color shirt in this size. They call it "Personalization Shop". Might be an easy solution if they have what you are looking for.

Re: Etsy purchases for Disney shirts. I purchased 4 shirts from one vendor who had been in business for 1.5 years, lots and lots of glowing reviews overall (a few moderate scores for minor things). I had to pay in advance. Vendor was communicative until shirts were due. Never received them -they were never made. Luckily, during the customization process vendor and I chatted via Etsy, so detailed conversations were on record. I did finally get refunded, but it was a step by step process within the Etsy system. Overall, I would purchase from an Etsy vendor again (The one I used was banned, apparently taking money and not fullfilling orders during a several week period). However, I would order them well in advance in case I did not receive them. Having the extra layer of purchase protection from Etsy was nice.

We also got ours off Easy and were extremely pleased with the process and the end result. I just went in to check the store name and it is: JeniMadeIt.

When we got married on the Magic we had Bride, Groom, and Team Bride/ Team Groom shirts that we made ourselves with applications we bought from Etsy and ironed on. Since you don't care for personalized, you could just order shirt pre-done for you off of Etsy for sure, as others have said. I ordered shirts off Etsy for our honeymoon and I was very pleased.

i checked out etsy last night! and wow - there is a lot there. Thank you for remind me of Etsy! I didn't consider them before because we also had a bad experience ordering from Etsy.. i'm still livid. but i will try one more time. i'm hopeful that we won't have bad luck with another vendor.

I've used Etsy for custom shirts as well as custom door magnets. Also lots of good ideas for FE hosts. I'm a little crafty but not really. I was so happy with what we have had made in the past. Good luck!

Etsy!! We bought just the iron on decals from a vendor called Fig and Bear. Then we bought tshirts at Kohls and Target. It worked out to be around $12-$16 per shirt.

Most sellers on Etsy are committing copyright infringement by using Disney designs and selling them for a profit. For our upcoming trip, I designed shirts for my family and made them myself. There are lots of tutorials on YouTube.
