Well, I just got off the phone with Megan the very perky Boardwalk CM who'd been put in charge of fixing my
irritation with the Kouzina closing.
When I'd last talked to her she'd let me know up front they wouldn't be able to offer dinner reservations at
Flying Fish at one TS each instead of two -- I hadn't been the first to ask so she already knew the answer her managers had given for that request. Nothing was being offered to people outright for the inconvenience. Still boggles my mind really.
I'd left it with her to let me know if we could at least have reservations I'd made at
Captain's Grille bumped up from 7:55pm to our original 6:50pm Kouzina time and today she called back to say that
yes, her managers had told her that would be taken care of.
But I'm not sure.
As much as I'd love to try Captain's Grille and it fits back in with my original plan for the day time wise...... I'm kinda liking the
Crystal Palace ressie I picked up as a backup. Ariana and Demetri
LOVE CP and Alex laughingly told me Kathryn would totally march around the room in the parade with the characters..... It'd be a beautiful restaurant for her to see.
Going this route, we could get a late-ish counter service dinner at the Boardwalk and still go to Beaches for a
No Way Jose.
The cons to this would be the weird time - it's at 3:20pm, and the inclination to stay at MK for the rest of the day instead of being 'forced' to go to the Boardwalk.
On the other hand......
Keeping the Captain's Grille ressie fits with how I'd originally planned the day. Although not the Kouzina experience we'd been hoping to have, it's a
new place to try, it sounds great and I think George would prefer it. We'd also still go to Beaches for the late treat.
Which do you think I should go with:
Crystal Palace @ 3:20pm *or* Captain's Grille @ 6:50pm ??
