David - it was just a little matter of them making my posts disappear (3 of them total) just because I was trying to get Jen over to this roll call because the cc roll call is dead in the water for this cruise because all the people are here!!!

I figure they are too uptight!! and need to loosen up some.

I have been a faithful cc person due to the amount of cruises I have taken and I didn't think it was a big deal to get Jen to where the action was for this cruise. The cc boards and the disboards are very different and I do think they both have a useful purpose.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. My dd had her first fitting for the wedding dress. Going to cut off a big train due to the beach wedding.

We wouldn't have bought a dress with a big train originally but since we got it at such a great price we have to have some cut off.

I hope everyone is having a nice week so far. For me it is going GREAT! But, tomorrow I go back to work for the first day of my 3 day work week!!! Oh well, it could be worse................I could have to work 5 days a week like DW!!! (I'm not laughing at her.................I'm laughing with her!!!)

I hope everyone got a chance to check out the Dream in port this past Sunday. The view this webcam shows of the ships is very good. It evens follows them as they sail out to sea. If you haven't had a chance to check it out please do the next time the Dream is in port.

With the exception of the hanger, I just finished our FE. Since this is our first Disney cruise I needed to make one.

We leave in just over 9 weeks! I'm so excited to meet everyone.

I'm so excited. We have finished our FE gifts! Hope everyone likes them!

Had a great time in Orlando this weekend! Got some great shirts and pins at the outlet! Blizzard Beach was so much fun! Great pin trading night at the Contemporary resort!

Only 60 more days until I return for a brief visit before we head to Port Canaveral!

Does anyone have any plans of staying at WDW before the cruise? DW and I are staying at WDW for a couple of nights before we set sail on the Dream. We like to s t r e t c h out the vacation as much as we can!!! One of the first things we do after getting checked in is to go and gets us a to eat. LOOOOVVVEE the Mickey Bars!!!

Okay - So I realize I could just call, text, or email my mom in response. But I'm going to do it here for everyone to see.

To mom:

I completely understand the sentiment of extreme sad but yet extremely happy. And this is the reason I'm not having you walk me down the aisle and am chosing to do so myself.

Just because I'm getting married does not mean I'm giving up the close relationship I have you (and by now Brent knows not to make me choose to between him and my mama).

To everyone else:

I think I'm very lucky to have such a great mom. She is the best. And you are lucky you'll get to meet her.

Ok to all you experienced Disney cruisers. When I went to put the pockets on the "back part" of my f.e. I think they might be too small. From the inside of the pocket to the top it measures 5 1/2". Do you think that is ok or do I need to make bigger pockets?

Hi everyone!!! I will be on this sailing, soooo excited!!! I was able to sail on the Dream in January and it was simply amazing and I couldn't wait to book another sailing!!

My sister(26), my best friend(26 time of cruise) and myself(23 at time of cruise) will be on it and we all are so excited!! My best friends birthday is September 2nd and mine is September 13th so it is going to be one big celebration for us!! Cannot wait to see you all on board!

HI!! I'm the best friend mentioned in the above post I honestly cannot WAIT for September to get here, I don't think a day goes by without eeyore913 and I talking about how excited we are. Unfortunately I was unable to go with her in January (I tried to convince her to smuggle me on in her suitcase!) so I've been trying to read up as much as possible on what to expect. I can't think of a better way to (belatedly) spend my birthday (and my best friend's) than on the Dream!

Becky, I think you should be fine with that. If someone's gift is larger than that they can just place it on the floor right outside your stateroom.

Beautiful dress! Was the seamstress mortified when you told her you were going to cut off the train? One question....have you thought about keeping the material of the train to use for something in the future just in case? I'm not a hoarder, but that just seems like one of those things that would be nice to hang on to and have sewn into a baby outfit in the future (when that time comes for you and your hubby)

stl_figment, I'll second what luckymomoftwo suggested. Keep the fabric they cut off your dress. You can make a pillow or cover an album with it. You could also save it to make something for your future children's wedding(s) which would be super-sweet! Personally, I'd have a Teddy bear or dolly made but that's the doll collector in me. Lol!

She wasn't mortified. My future MIL was way more mortified when I told her I was having it cut off. I LOVE it though. It feels so much better.

I have the fabric saved. My future MIL said she would make it into a pillow or something nice for us.
