Disney Dream ~ September 15, 2011

I just wanted to pop in to say hi to one and all. Hello.

I sure hope everyone is having a GREAT week-end. Sure is nice here in the Sunshine State. Suuny skies, temps around 90 degrees during the day and around 70 degrees at night. Only thing, all of this sunshine keeps my grass growing and I have to mow it every week!!!:headache::scared:

DW and I are going out today to do more cruise shopping. Seems like this never ends!!! Ya'll have a great day today. Talk to you again soon!!!:woohoo:

Well David, I can officially say now that we too are having to mow the grass every week!! We have finally been able to enjoy some Very warm weather, So warm that it's like SUMMER! Today I went to Wallmart to purchase myself a new bike, so I can start getting in shape for the cruise. Well, they had a ROLLBACK on many of the bikes, marking them down to well under a Hundred each. So I got my DS7 his very first NEW bike, so now we can go for bikes rides together! He just recently, learned to ride without training wheels, and his bike was very much on the small side for him. Well, while standing in Wallmart to pay for the bikes, along with some knee, elbow and hand protectors for DS and a Helmet for the mom, DS kept hugging me, jumping up and down, saying "Thank you Thank you Thank you!" He was SOOOOO appreciative and Happy about his NEW bike, I had no idea it would mean THAT much to him! I was thrilled and overjoyed to see this reaction in him. Now if only I can get such a reaction when we surprise him with THIS cruise!! I'll let ya'll know how that goes next month :)

We had our second day of summer here. It's been lovely. Unfortunately, I'm not used to it yet. I was outside at a graduation party for a couple of hours this afternoon and the sun really got to me. Ended up with a whopper of a headache that pills aren't touching. I'm trying to drink lots of water, in case it's a dehydration headache. :headache:

Thanks for the heads up on the bikes at Walmart. I think DS14 needs a new one. He's grown quite a bit and I think he's too tall for his old bike now. I'll get it out and check. But, we may be headed to Walmart to get him a new one.

Yeah...booked myself a long weekend at Disney in July. Hoping that will get me thru to the cruise! There's a pin event on July 8th and then going to try out one of the water parks. So what's your vote....Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach or dare i suggest ....... aquatica?:yay:

LOL, Happy Bike shopping if thats what you end up doing :) Keep in mind though that I'm in Canada, and I'm not sure that ALL Wallmarts in Canada and the U.S. do Roll Backs on the same things at the same time. My thoughts though are that Bikes at Walmart in the U.S. would already be less than the regular prices on bikes here. Sometimes I think it would be worth the Hour and a half drive across the border to do some U.S. shopping :thumbsup2 I plan on THAT some weekend this summer :)

Heck, Walmarts in the same city don't do roll backs at the same time. But, it's worth a look, just in case. ;)

I hope all are having a nice week this wek. Today is my last day off, until next week, and I have to go back to work tomorrow.:scared1: Oh well, at least we are getting closer to our sail date. Soon all of us will be heading over to Port Canaveral and boarding the Dream!!!:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

DW and I are finally done cruise shopping. Well, DW wants to find this certain "shrug". (I thought a shrug was when you raised your shoulders up in a gester of saying "I don't know." But what do I know!!! Shrug):confused3 :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Well, I have to do my torture machine excercises and then run a couple of errands this morning. Ya'll have a GREAT DAY today. Talk to you again real soon.:woohoo:

Hi Everyone!!! Just stopping in to say hello. Summer is here in St. Louis (with a vengence) - trying to get used to the humidity. We tied our record heat yesterday and have an excessive heat warning till Thursday sometime. Ughhhhh.

I am looking so forward to being back at Disney!!!

Becky

We had summer weather for a couple of days. Now we're back to early spring of a high of 63. *sigh*

Well, right now, I'm happy to say, it's warmer this evening here in Ottawa Canada than it is in Orlando :thumbsup2
Today though was the kind of heat that gives me headaches. My boys were out riding their bikes after school and my 7yr old came home with his face flushed red, his hair all sweaty and he was as happy as a clam! The kids are already tanned and I'm still white as snow. Gotta change that :) But I'm thrilled this warm weather means we are closer and closer to our cruise!!

HI THERE!!! I'm trying to get things wrapped up now that we are in the DOUBLE DIGITS!!!!!!:banana:

Is there anyone who hasn't yet signed up for the FE Exchange that would like to? I was thinking maybe we could put a deadline of July 15th to sign up. Only because that gives those of us who are MAKING the gifts time to get them all finished up without going into panic mode trying to get them done last minute. What's everyone else's thoughts on this?

Ok, now that I got the official FE business done, on to the fun stuff!

How is everyone's weekend going? Or I guess I should ask how was everyone's weekend? (It's pretty much over now)

I got most of my FE gifts finished this weekend. :yay: We went to a birthday party at Fun Flatables today and my DD8 made a new friend there! TOO CUTE! My DD is so short that her new friend who is FIVE years old is as tall as my DD! :lmao: Of course, they were only friends during the time we were there because they didn't exchange phone numbers so it was a short lived friendship. :rotfl2:

We went to the Disney Store and got our 4th of July T-shirts! :thumbsup2 I wanted to get them about a month ago but they were full price...I'm glad we went today because they had slim pickin's cause they were all on sale. LUCKILY they had all the sizes we needed in the colors we wanted! :thumbsup2

That sounds like a good idea to me.

Sounds good on the FE list. I have all my materials. Now I just need to get to work on my gifts. :thumbsup2

Sorry I've been MIA so long. Life is just nuts. This past week my 15 year old got his learner's permit. :scared1: We were in line at the DMV when I had my very brief "holy-crap-I'm-old" panic moment. I'm proud to say it passed within a minute or so. No hyper-ventilating or sobbing. :thumbsup2

Onward & upward! We're in the double-digits now. The hubby calls or texts every day with our day count. I countered with a week count last week because it's a smaller number. Time is just zipping along. I'm afraid to blink. The trip will be here before I know it!

Have a great week ahead, everyone! :goodvibes

I agree to cut off the FE as of mid July. I'm almost done with my gifts! YEAH! Can't wait........

DW and I are good with the July 15th cutoff for the FE sign up also. We are getting our FE gifts wrapped up as all of you are. Our sail date is coming up so fast now.:cool1: Soon we will be walking up the boarding ramp onto the Dream!!!!:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

July sounds good as a deadline for FE.

I can't believe how close we are to the cruise! So exciting! Dear fiance's passport just came in the mail. Yes, we know we don't technically "need" it but he wanted it. So except for the whole mail away to FL for a marriage license thing we are all ready!

I agree also about the cutoff for FE.

Just checking in to see how everyone is.

Got our confirmation for a pre-trip visit to Kennedy Space Center. Got free maximum access passes from our congressman. :yay:

Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Becky
