Worked on my FE gifts today. Can't believe how quickly this cruise is coming!!

I missed the FE cutoff for this cruise, but we are going to the Mediterranean this summer. We have never done FE before. What are good FE gifts? What is the average cost etc.

My girlfriend and I will be on this cruise. We are doing 2 days in disney beforehand. I have been on cruises before but never a Disney cruise, and this is my first cruise being over 21.:cool1:

I am more of a partier than she is, but I am dragging her out to the clubs at night for sure. Can't wait!

Do some searches on FE gifts on these boards. There is soooo much info and pictures! Hard to put a number to the cost since everyone does it a little different.

My dh can't hack the night hrs...which is why i was looking for dis company

I'd like to do an earlier meet too, my DD is too young to leave alone for an 11:30 meet. I am not a good organizer though, hope your family enjoys the trip!

The problem with an earlier meet is trying to find the right time. The schedule looks pretty packed!

I would be up for it depending on what we are doing if someone is setting one up. Always fun to meet folks!

My DW and I are going to meet the dance group. We packed out glow bands :) I would vote for earlier too. Bit not sure when and where. I don't have a Navigator.

Plugging away at preping for our trip. we are doing 1 day at WDW before the tcruise and 1 day after the cruise. To that end, we purchased 10 day Non expiring tickets. A whopping $2779 later...!!!! I'm still feeling the pain lol!

We are thinking on Wednesday we'll start with MK to check out the new Fantasyland Expansion...then head over to Epcot for the afternoon to see the revamped Test Track and enjoy the Flower & Garden Festival, particularly the new food marketplaces. Perfect way to snack around the world for dinner. Then head back to MK for the night to watch Wishes, the new light show, and MSEP. It's going to be a looooooonnnnggggg day.

On Sunday we are hoping to head to Typhoon Lagoon if the weather is good. If not, we'll head to whichever park the kids/DH prefer. Maybe Hollywood Studios for Rock n Roller Coaster and Star Tours.

I have to start putting clothes in bags. I don't leave until Tuesday night, but the days are ticking by!

I'm glad I checked this thread, I'm sitting in our condo outside WDW as I type :). My glow bands are packed too (somewhere...), and meeting earlier would be great. What about sail away? I know some of our cruisecritic groups have done this and it was fun. One person wears something unique, the rest of us find that person at a designated place. I've never been on a DCL ship so I don't know a good spot to meet, so if someone can make a suggestion...

I love this idea, that way I don't have to worry what to do with DD9! I am at WDW now, I don't really have anything unique with me to wear, but maybe I will pick something up in the parks if someone doesn't come up with something. Plus y'all I know what I look like since I have my picture on my tag.

Hmmm..where to meet? for an over planner like me...I don't even know where I want to be for sail away. For all my planning, I've dropped the ball. I don't even know the layout of the Dream!

We usually like an upper deck, away from the crowds near the pools and such, but somewhere with a good view. On NCL we are usually on the top deck forward, but I don't know if DCL has a similar area...
My over planning ends on the cruise...we know cruising! This whole WDW thing has me in a tizzy though! We managed to see and do everything we wanted to at Hollywood Studios today, so I'm 1 for 1 right now ;)

Glad to hear u are enjoying yourself! We are thoroughly excited about going to WDW and already have our first day completely mapped out. For our second day after the cruise....we are *gasp* winging it!! (I never wing it LOl!!)

I am a pro at winging it, so the idea of mapping out what we do in a day is exhausting  We made it through our first day at MK, even saw the electrical parade and fireworks! Got back to the condo just before midnight, and the boys just woke up. Back at it again today, but I'm really looking forward to supper at Be Our Guest...and a shorter day ;)
Now to find the Tommy Bahama store in Orlando, DH wants to stop on our way to port :woohoo:

I am on the ship and its Thursday morning. Have not gotten off yet. There are two places to see the Sail Away party. Deck 11 and deck 12.

Deck 11 is right in the middle of the fun. Deck 12 does look down on the party but deck 12 gets just as crowded and arguably you can't see as much.

I have a suggestion. The front is usually taken by the little kids. About half way from the stage, there are two platforms on port and and starboard side. These are little boxes about 3'x3' and about a foot high. These are used for the crew to dance on. They have a pole with a hidden Mickey on it for them to hold on to.

How about meeting near the platform on the right side of the ship. The one closest to the cruise terminal. Can you believe I have been on 14 cruises and I don't know port from starboard.

Hope to see you on board.

I'll try to be there. My dd and I are both in bright pink tshirts. Mine is Tink and hers is Chip n Dale :)

Getting ready to leave Orlando for the port soon!!!!

Sounds good but I am confused if I need to go to deck 11 or 12.
